Pet Mod Like A Muse To Flame (Slate 11 Submissions!)

Our vote count so far with both submitters pitching in is three votes for both entries! Since doing a tiebreaker would be redundant at this point, instead we've made the callous decision to postpone the deadline of voting to tomorrow instead...get your votes in before it's too late!

THE VOTES ARE NOW CLOSED!!! Thank you everyone for voting...but it's time to see who the identities of these multiple forms are! And this time, since this is the last slate before the hiatus...we have a tall tale about each of them.

"Lucy Beverlore, a gardener from Eterna City, kind of wished she hadn't gone into that spooky forest behind the Old Chateau. She was only trying to find some herbs for her beautiful garden, which were only found in the Mystic Glade, and she thought this was the right turn for sure. But then...she saw a mist filled with mystical powers in the distance, emitted by what appeared to be a unicorn with two heads on either side. Lucy was obviously horrified by this and tried to escape, but the mist kept on getting closer and closer...until, it overtook her entire body. She felt the mist enter her heart...and Lucy fell into great pain, as she saw her hands...turning into claws?! That couldn't be right...but her entire body was getting bigger, muscular, and more redder, as her clothes could not handle the pressure. Her lustrous green hair extended to her entire body...and her teeth grew sharper and sharper. Eventually, the transformed Lucy's mind was overtaken...and at that moment, her humanity was gone. The forest had taken her over on a path to which there was no return...she was no longer Lucy...she was now just another monster of the Mystic Glade, ironically the very forest she was trying to reach, known only as...Werjack! Now, today, Werjack reverts to her human self to wander around the glade and draw in prey with her innocent looks...before transforming under the mist to tear them apart, limb by limb. But strangely, she always wears the same clothes that she wore prior to this fateful moment...perhaps, the sole remaining bit of Lucy's mind, desperately trying to take control."
Werjack, the winner of Design A was made by G-Luke, and is a Grass/Normal Special Attacker that turns into a physical Grass/Dark wallbreaker when Misty Terrain is active. This makes her a perfect partner with Twonicorn!

"Once upon a time, there lived a brilliant mouse who amazed the world by learning the most difficult to master magic trick from an early age. Fairy-type Pokémon from far and wide come to witness the tricks of Maugick, the master magician. Thought to have been the master of the sleight of hand, Maugick purposefully sealed himself inside his mask upon realizing that more evil Pokémon were visiting him than good. But...it proved to be a costly mistake. The mask, said to be provided by some kind of hooded Palpitoad, was cursed to have an ancient dragon, known only as the "Beastmaster", sealed inside of it that was said to make anything struck by it's magical breath willing to hide behind their shells for all eternity. The dragon ended up keeping Maugick inside the mask with no escape, and thus the Pokémon world's greatest magician vanished without a trace, with no-one knowing the truth behind his shortcomings. Ironically, it is said that if Maugick had not disappeared, traditional magicians would have never existed, and no-one would ever know how to pull a rabbit out of a hat. In battle, a fatal blow will free him from the mask briefly...but should he suffer another in his true form, the dragon's spirit will take over and ravage the area around it against his will."
Meanwhile, for Design B, it will know be known as Maugick, who was made by PalpitoadChamp! This Pokémon needs to be killed three times in order to destroy it fully, but every time it is defeated, it gets stronger and stronger, starting as a Steel-type, then becoming a Steel/Fairy type, and finally a Dragon/Fairy type.
And thus...we have reached the point of the Pet Mod where we have passed slate #10. Therefore, we will now go on a hiatus until further notice...But stay tuned for when we come back, for we WILL be back before at the end of the year! (In fact, it might not last as long as you'd expected) We might as well use this opportunity to look back through the past ten slates so far...
SO...WHAT WENT RIGHT?
● Loads and loads of submissions for our 33 new Pokémon: Each Pokémon has it's own unique role and typing in the metagame. Like, who would expect a Pokémon named "Conventionally Attractive Kong" to be in this metagame?
●The previous winners were taken into account for the submissions, and so no Pokémon feels truly crept in power...well, unless you count the fact that this metagame has two Dark/Poison types and two Ground/Dark types!
● We also had constant attention across the whole duration of the Pet Mod up to this point, with people from far and wide contributing their submissions.

AND WHAT WENT WRONG?
●Well, certainly, the most important problem of this mod was that very few people submitted submissions for it. We've had loads of cases where a design won by default because only PalpitoadChamp submitted a design for it...and I'm talking about you, slate #6.
●Speaking of PalpitoadChamp, nearly half of the Pet Mod's winners were designed by him. That's not to say he's bad, however, his submissions were truly the most unique ones of the lot!
●But also, the fact that, since this Pet Mod never got programmed into DragonHaven, no-one got the opportunity to test out the metagame and see the most dangerous threats that had to be nerfed.

Of course, your opinions may vary, considering this is the first full Pet Mod I've ever run....
WHILE THE HIATUS IS GOING ON....
I still need someone to help program the metagame into Dragonhaven, and someone to put a council together to see which of the 33 Pokémon in the metagame are overpowered and need to be nerfed! Notify me on Discord if you have what it takes...good luck!
BUT IT'S NOT OVER...WE WILL RETURN.
SO DON'T DROP YOUR BRUSHES YET!

Today, librarians were alarmed when they noticed that the Like A Muse To Flame database had just gained 60 empty entries on top of the 40 that are currently in the database. (This counts both the submissions themselves and their form changes) It makes them wonder...if the hiatus is going to end sooner than we'd thought.
BE PREPARED...
THE MUSES WILL BE COMING BACK...VERY SOON!

SLATE 11: WE'RE BACK, BABY!!!
“Welcome back to Like A Muse to Flame! We’re so glad to be back from it’s hiatus, and it gives us the perfect opportunity to talk about how surprising these Pet Mod Slates have been. Unless they have been warned in advance, you literally don’t know what you have to make next…or if your submission for that slate will even get any votes at all. While we’d spend hours listing all the Pet Mods in detail this way, a good example is the ones where you get freedom in the first slate…but then have to use a template in the second, much like this one. A notable example is JumpHeart’s Do Not Use: The Pet Mod: The Musical. In the first slate, you could make anything you’d wish, and I barely missed on making a good Fakemon for the game. Then Slate 2 came along, and forced you to submit one of eight existing Pokémon to nerf, no questions asked…which was the sole reason why I sat out of that one. To be honest, modifying existing Pokémon without giving them anything new like a new form or an evolution isn’t exactly my jam.”
Therefore, for our first post-hiatus slate, we are going back to the basics....or at least, starting with no theme at all. These three sprites are just itching to join the metagame, but it's up to you to decide their actual identities first!

You have until Sunday the 26th of September to cast your submissions...GOOD LUCK!
HELP STILL WANTED....AND A NOTE ABOUT THE PRE-HIATUS SLATES
We are still looking for someone who can code the custom moves and abilities into DragonHaven, and someone who can look at all the winners and see who needs to be nerfed! Contact me on the Discord if you have what it takes...but, additionally, since the metagame was never coded in prior to the hiatus...we are splitting it into two main ladders!
The Pre-Hiatus ladder will have all of the winners from slates 1-10, while the Post-Hiatus ladder will have everyone in it! The post-hiatus sprites will also have a darker colour on the database so that they can easily be identified from the pre-hiatus sprites. Stay tuned for more information....

Flavor: Sphinx guy with desert power
Competitive: Has insane Kyurem level stats, but it has to chose between no ability in Sand Force and an ability that chips itself. It's also boots locked, helping its greed for Tera. NP + Psychic/Air Slash/EP is a very effective set.

Flavor: Okay, but what is that?
Competitive: Really strong offensive type with high attack, but lacks speed and physical bulk. Also has a very odd movepool with lots of unique coverage and utility. If someone else submits something better, I'm definitely voting for it.

Competitive: i'm just gonna be funny and make a fast special pivot / breaker that.. does something a little fucked up.

Chain Lightning: 70 BP, 100% Accuracy, 8 PP, Special Move, Electric Type. This move is used again after 2 turns, like Future Sight.
