List of Released Dream World Pokemon Mark II

I can confirm Scrappy Herdier, caught at the hidden hollow in Sangi Ranch (Sangi Bokujou).

Can somebody please explain to me what these hollows are?

Where can they be found?
Can the pokemon in them respawn?
Is their gender always locked?

Someone in another thread posted this pic:

That's a female Techniloom. I really hope it's not hacked.

GRASS TYPES WILL RISE AND RULE OVER EVERYTHING.

[Giga Drain Chlorosaur, Techniloom, Regemoonguss]
and eventually... Contrary D.Pulse Serperior to rule them all!! :D

For those of you interested, Serebii's confirmed Reckless Mienfoo, Soundproof Bouffalant, and, in my opinion, best of all, Simple Woobat.

I'm personally more intrigued about the first one. HJK does get a power-up. The question is whether the 20% boost is worth the loss of regenerator recovery.

http://serebii.net/black2white2/hiddenhollow.shtml

Apparently the genders aren't locked, or so I've heard.

It's kind of debatable really. Swords Dance Mienshao, for instance, gets all the power it needs without Reckless since it can OHKO Skarmory after SR, and the health gain really helps in the long run. I haven't really been in a spot where I'd need the 20% boost. It might be mostly worthwhile on the Swords Dance set since you're mostly going to stay in, and go from there.

Thanks Antar*, but I'm afraid it isn't really clear enough.
(or maybe I'm thick...?)

What does he mean by it becoming useless/different? or how it regenerates every (supposedly) 24hrs?

I'm only asking to know if we should SR the random encounter until we get a female, or if we should just catch anything and visit again in 24hrs.

catch/take whatever is there then come back later and something different will be there. No point SR what's already there unless you want a better nature or diff IVs since the gender is locked along with the species of pokemon by that point.

Just came here to confirm DW F Combee in the Lostlorn Forest Hidden Hollow.

(yes I'm using a partial english patch for items/moves/abilities, makes playing through easier)
EDIT: Just found Seviper in the route 7 hollow, sadly it's male. Posting screenshot in a minute.

I've not heard anything about Hollow Pokemon getting special moves, just whatever lvl-up moves it would normally have for the level.
Screenshot of moves as requested.

Yeah doubt any of them do, I just like to have movesets for these. Gonna start updating the OP with these.

Since BW reports look to be done (again), back to type testing. Decided to go with Bug:

Manor x 3
Forest x 11
Sky x 2
Sea x 3
Mountain x 1

Not surprised by this one, but here it is for thoroughness.

That Druddigon knows Fire Fang (egg move) so we have all of its moves now. We have everything else though.

Today I tucked in an electric type (Zebstrika) and got:

Forest: 17
Cave: 4
Manor: 4
Sky: 2
Sea:2
Mountain: 1

So electrics favour forest, which I guess makes sense due to all of those electrics you can find there.

EDIT: Oh and I decided to put my 'to do' list in my signature. That way, I don't have to keep copypasting the list as a new page starts! Not that it matters now since the list is really short now...

EDIT 2: It has occurred to me that if the list grows too big for the signature I may need to think of something else. I have an idea though I'll only worry about if I need to.

Could it have something to do with the species of the Pokemon? Could you do it with Tynamo or Voltorb line just to be sure Electrics really do favour the Forest?

I'm pretty sure it stated that it's type-based during an official update. Specifically the one that also advertised Icy Cave back in Japan.

Also, I used Illumise today, and you'd think it'd stuff me in spooky manor with the rest of the Illumise if it went with that theory

@ MB Espeon: Yeah that was what I was thinking - using a link to a list post and just change the list as required. That way, people can refer to that to see if they have anything that's missing and I don't have to worry about copypasting or signature limits. I'll worry about it later though, if and when the list gets bigger (which it probably will).

@ KevlarX290: Yeah I have actually wondered the same thing myself before. However, the site itself claims it's type based, and when I was going to the Icy Cave I used Cryogonal, Vanniluxe and Glalie, and all of them had the same effect. I have no doubt that it is type based and I have no reason to think otherwise.

So I'm not doing electric again, but if anyone else wants to then feel free. It wouldn't hurt to have multiple datasets to be sure. I think I'm going to do a normal type tomorrow or something (unless someone else does it first).

DW F Amoongus confirmed, route 22 Hidden Hollow.

It was quite hard to get a screenshot while it was jumping ._.

EDIT: DW Leavanny in Lostlorn Forest hollow, another useless male though.

Thought the same thing yesterday, went in with a Dragonair (figuring they would somewhat prefer the sea), but I saw no distinguishable pattern of preference compared to my Druddegeon run.

So, what's the consensus on whether or not the Hidden Hollow stuff varies by area? I mean, Leavanny in Lostlorn Forest's Hidden Hollow, Minccino in Route 5's, it's not exactly a difficult connection to make, really. Having said that, has anyone started in on the one that's supposed to be in the Giant Chasm? Bearing in mind that's where Ditto reside?

Is it possible that all the BW Pokemon with over-world sprites (or at least a majority of them) are found in hidden hollows? The sprites can be seen here.

Don't see why they couldn't be.

Also it does explain the excess of evolved 5th gen overworld sprites in comparison to the amount of 5th gen evolved stuff on Dream World.

The presence of evolutions is what made me think about it. I thought it was strange that Leavanny was found rather than Sewaddle. Patrat, Herdier, Liepard, and Zebstrika also appear rather than their lowest stages.

The most absolute possible place for things like Elegyem and Litiwck can appear is in the Manor. However, it would seem that the only place that you can go to right now on BW2 is on the Ice Cave and Ocean. Perhaps... that there is point requirement now on manor, or all of the other places? It would make the most sense.
