Machamp just used what?

I'm laughing because all this time we've been going back and forth, and then we find out that you don't even want to use CB.
But that's because I don't like the lack of speed, but since both CB and your set are slow I can argue about those
Dynamicpunch is far more effective than fire blast at destroying physical walls that want to stall you if you're No-Guarding, the only ones that can take the 100% confusion combined with the physical damage are Weezing, Slowbro and Cresselia. It still 2-3HKOs most of the standard physical walls, without a fighting resistance they don't stand a chance. I've always ran thunderpunch in the 'filler' slot on my Machamp, who runs scarf. I have no issue with fire blast in that slot, won't work for what I use Machamp for (scarfed lead) but it'd be ok on a later game sweeping machamp.
I didn't have the patience to read down the first few pages, but it should be noted that without proper mind games, skarmory could roost off the damage done. Now granted, Dynamic punch could be your followup after they switch into the fire Blast seeing as how it would also be SE if they roost, but then again, they could always use whirlwind and roost off on the incoming pokemon (assuming it's not a huge huge threat) so it's really situational vs. Skarmory and requires some guesswork, but this is a viable option I believe.

The answer is Fire Punch would do more damage than Fire Blast on Meta even without Guts. Minimal s.def Meta's of the standard variety interestingly has a high enough stat that Fire Blast actually bothers it less than a Fire Punch does.
However if the Meta invests in defense then its a slightly different story.

Well in GSC Machamp enjoyed the benefit of a maxed special attack.
Dynamic Punch is still preferred since it would do basically the same damage as Fire Punch, but also add confusion.
@Dan Dan: That's what I was saying last night about GSC when we were talking about this. FB Machamp was great when Steelix was still used alot.
Trying to take out Slowbro with Machamp is a lost cause. He resists almost everything you can hit him with, and then he just uses Slack Off to recover the HP.
I could probably breed a machamp ideal for this set so it is possible.
What would be the point of battling when you already know what set i'll be using? The whole purpose of it is to surprise your opponent. So no thanks
When I saw the topic I thought: "heh, fire blast" and sure enough it was a fire blast machamp thread. It's an ok idea seeing as how tpunch was only for one pokemon whom you hit SE anyway.
My main point is here. I wouldn't say I am the most elitist person here, but I am annoyed with the amount of "Look what I just clicked on shoddy" topics, which apparently makes me an elitist. I really don't find this "discovery" to be anything worth posting a topic about. I'm not sure what the people who post these sort of threads think, so please enlighten me: Do you think that everyone who hasn't posted a topic about a "brilliant" idea hasn't thought of any? Or that you were the first person to think that fire blast was usable on machamp? Or even, that only other people with "good" ideas like this one can debate the value of this set with you? Since, you guys are certainly better than the rest of us.
If you were doing this purely to point out that machamp could make better use out of that one move slot you could have just pm'ed TTS (who wrote the machamp analysis here) or any of DP analysis team and told them about it.
If you have a good idea, just use it. If it is really THAT good everyone will recognize it...that is how standards are born. I hope you don't take this personally, I am only talking about this topic and others like it, I'm sure your other 1100+ posts were great.

That whole thing was added into the first post because of some people responding with nothing but shit like "This still gets walled by Cresselia" and "This isn't overwhelmingly gamebreaking". Obviously it's not, and there aren't many things that are going to be. I know it isn't new, I've been into competitive battling since I got my good old Blue version back in '98. I posted it because it's something that seems to have been forgotten through the years, and Gin reminded me of it last night. I think the damage calculations alone are good enough to let other people in on. Yes, in hindsight shooting off a PM probably would have been the better idea.
This topic has been derailed to the point that anyone who doesn't read all the posts isn't going to know how to respond, though I don't think most people read much more than the moveset anyway <_<

I already posted earlier in the topic and it was something similar to what Husk posted but in alot less words, I quoted his post basically to show that it was what I meant but couldn't come up with such a good way of saying it.

I guess I'll just stop responding to you now, since you seem to just want to troll at this point.
Hate to break it to you but trading for an Apicot berry in the Wifi forum (which, btw, served it's purpose, and now Vlad has a very nice Aerodactyl, and I have an Apicot berry) is nothing like claiming to come up with FB Machamp (as you claim to in the OP.)
But this is getting off track as you attempt to derail your own thread, and I think I've made my point so that's all from me.
