Old Gen Tournaments Calendar

Introduction

MLRoA was first hosted in late 2015. The motivation was to make a tournament where more games were played, due to the greater flexibility with replacing dropouts. The format is round-robin, with players split into 4 parallel divisions (known as conferences) approximately by their time zones. The top 4 of each conference then qualify for playoffs, which is first-to-3-wins (best-of-5-wins). The first tournament included 44 player slots, playing the oldest 5 generations. The second tournament, Major League OU, included ORAS too, with 60 slots. By the time of the third tournament, ORAS was an old generation, and so the name was reverted to Major League RoA. These tournaments along with the 4th and 5th ones, were only 36 slots. The 5th one added SM.

Unfortunately we have to cancel the tournament this year due to both hosts and players prioritizing other tournaments. For the last 3 tournaments, we reduced the size, and with even more old gen tournaments this year, it's just too hard to fit in unfortunately. I apologize for the short notice. We'll let you know if and when it comes back.
