Down Deeper:
Metagross plays the leading role in this show here. With its natural bulkiness it can hold its own against many of the most common leads in this Metagame. If it survives and it has completed its task, basically just to set up Stealth Rock, then it can act as a fairly decent physical hitter too. He holds an Occa Berry to guarantee that he gets Stealth Rock up on Azelf and Infernape, or any lead that carries mean Fire moves. This is a basic LeadGross set so there isn't much to explain there except I opted for Earthquake over Meteor Mash for increased sweeping capabilities.

I really don't like this thing, which is odd because Scyther is one of my favorite Pokemon of all time, but anyone can honestly say that he is amazing. He can come in on Ice (Ice Beam/Ice Shard etc), Ghost (Shadow Ball/Shadow Sneak etc), Dragon (Outrage/Draco Meteor etc), and a multitude of different attack types due to its Steel typing. To add to that with his typing he is granted only one weakness, Fire (Flamethrower/Fire Fang etc). I changed Scizor from the Swords Dance variant to a Choice Band set. It is extremely basic, Pursuit over Quick Attack is the only opt I went for because I don't see the point in Quick Attack at all to be honest if you have Bullet Punch, minus possible neutral hits.

Once he has set up there are very few things that can prevent him from sweeping. He can come in on Fire (Flamethrower/Fire Fang etc), Water (Surf/Aqua Jet etc), Fighting (Close Combat/Aura Sphere etc), Ground (Earthquake/Earth Power etc), and other uncommon attack types (Grass and Bug) which can then set up on and begin his sweeping. Again another basic set only there aren't any options that I told over the norm.

Down Deeper:
This is the second and last new recruit for a team of mine, if you have seen my other standard team. She comes in on Fire (Flamethrower/Fire Fang etc), Water (Surf/Aqua Jet etc), Electric (Thunderbolt/Thunder Fang etc), Fighting (Close Combat/Aura Sphere etc), Ground (Earthquake/Earth Power etc), then Grass and Psychic but they are rarely seen in Standard as attack types. With her special bulkiness and multitude of resistances to common attack types she can come in easily and set up a Calm Mind or two and just wall and sweep. This is a Defensive Calm Mind Latias set, copy, paste, not much else except I chose Surf over other utility moves for the defensive set. Though it was between Hidden Power Fire and Surf, I just chose Surf.

Down Deeper:
Scarfed Heatran is the greatest revenge killer of all time in my opinion. He has X4 weakness to Earthquake so its doesn't see play outside of coming in after a Pokemon goes down, but he does get the job done well. He could come in on many different types of attacks, due to its Steel typing, such as Fire (Flamethrower/Fire Fang etc), Ice (Ice Beam/Ice Shard etc), Ghost (Shadow Ball/Shadow Sneak etc), Dragon (Outrage/Draco Meteor), and other not as common attack types. Though the fear of Ground attacks does keep him back, but again he gets the job done. Standard Choice Scarf Heatran set nothing really to explain there.

Down Deeper:
This team has a lot of trouble with Gyarados. Thus I switched Swampert, out of recommendation, to Vaporeon. Vaporeon is probably the greatest Gyarados counter ever. Vaporeon can come in on Water (Surf/Waterfall etc.), Fire (Flamethrower/Fire Fang etc.), Ice (Ice Beam/Ice Shard etc.), and Steel (Bullet Punch/Flash Cannon etc.) type attacks making it a great switch in on some of the most common attack types nowadays. The fact that it is an amazing Cleric, with Wish Passing and all, also makes it even more welcome as most of the team doesn't pack any recovery methods. This is the Standard Wish Passing set with Hidden Power Electric in order to take out Gyarados easily.

First simple changes: pert really needs hydro pump over surf to make a dent in anything. tbh hp barely cuts it, but surf is underwhelmingly weak. I actually like your use of LO on latias, but since it's your only ape counter lefties might be considered. Also, your scizor doesn't have x-scissor like your threat list says...but if it did bug bite is superior for technician.

Now I feel like this team requires way too much set up to do any serious damage. consider changing at least one of the following: sd scizor to cbscizor, ddmence to mixmence, and cm latias to scarf latias. most of these are just to hit harder more immediately, but you also have a bit of a ddmence weakness. Personally, I'd use cb scizor and use mixmence, while keeping latias as a cmer.
 
Hi.

Nice team you have there. However, I see a huge Dragon Dance Gyarados weakness. It can come in on a Scizor Bullet Punch or Superpower or on Heatran's Fire Blast or even on Swampert and proceed to setup. Swampert's very low special attack investment means that he'l fail to even dent Gyarados with Ice Beam. There is a simple solution to this problem, and that would be to give Heatran a + Speed Nature, prefferably Timid or Naive and use HP[Electric] instead of Explosion or Dragon Pulse. The reason you should change his Nature is because Heatran is unable to outspeed Gyara after a DD with Rash. Now you are able to revenge kill Heatran even if it gets a DD. If it gets too many boosts, you can roar it out with Swampert.

I would suggest changing your Latias' EV spread, to maybe this: 148 HP, 108 SpA, 252 Spe and using Leftovers instead of Life Orb.The HP EVs allow Latias to survive 4 consecutive Seismic Tosses when taking Leftovers into account. The special Attack EVs make sure that Latias 2HKO'es Blissey when it's at +6, 87.5 % of the time. I think I saw this spread in one of LR's posts.

I took most of the suggestions to the actual team and others that didn't are being tested and kept as suggestions.

-Fixes-
- I apologize for Scizor not having X-Scissor, as said in the Threat List, that has been edited, he doesn't have X-Scissor.
- Scizor has been changed to a Choice Band set over a Swords Dance set, under recommendation. Thus Life Orb was changed to Choice Band, EVs were changed, and Swords Dance was replaced by U-Turn.
- Latias' item was changed from Life Orb to Leftovers, I don't know what I was thinking there.
- I gave in and replaced Swampert's Surf with Hydro Pump, also under recommendation and because I am a power hungry fool.

-Minor Fixes-
- I will be adding sprites instead of the bolded names in the Threat List.
- Scizor and Salamence's images were changed to one's obtained from Arkeis.com, hopefully I didn't butcher that, to make them match the quality of the other images, again I don't know what I was thinking.
 
Ill help with your team a bit. Run 248 hp on scizor so you can switch into SR one more time then you can with 252 hp.

I also suggest switching swampert to a vaporeon so you can get some wish passing as well as check gyara easier.

It beats ape most of the time as well as annoys +1/+2 gyara if you choose to use hp electric, but toxic still annoys and stalls it to death. 6 Speed is there to outspeed other vappy just for getting a toxic first but isn't really needed as they'll probably toxic you but seeing as how hp electric is more common you will toxic 0 spe vappys first then just stall them trying to hp electric you. Surf is just the standard STAB and protect/wish/toxic i already explained.

Seems like a standard team to me, but I could make a couple of suggestions to make it better. Lum Berry on Metagross is much better than Occa Berry in this current metagame. Its sole purpose is to handle Roserade leads who try to gain an early momentum by placing you to Sleep and dropping down Toxic Spikes. With Lum berry, you can beat it with Meteor Mash and Bullet Punch. Fire Blast is never a OHKO on Metagross anyways with Azelf, your only concern now is Infernape: which is handled by Infernape in every possible way.

One way of improving sweeps is slapping Choice Band on Salamence to provide that instant power on your common switch-ins. The EVs are 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe at a Jolly Nature with the movesets Outrage / Dragon Claw / Earthquake / Fire Blast. This is a nice way of injuring Pokemom like Swampert and most notibaly Scizor with an immediate +1 Outrage or +1 Dragon Claw damage. With a weakened Scizor, it lets Latias pick off Scizor with Surf and prevents it from being trapped or being beat easily. The same goes for Swampert, as its a tough bitch to budge at full health. A CB Salamence softens up alot of bulky Pokemon off the bat. Dragon Claw for scouting for Steel-types, Outrage for something you want to hurt badly while Fire Blast 2HKOes Careful Skarmory and Earthquake improves your coverage.

As for other options, Hidden Power Electric is probably the better option over Hydro Pump currently. Swampert should avoid 'high risk high reward' attack moves because its real purpose is to cushion hits rather than dishing out good damage. Hidden Power Electric checks Gyarados because its a good threat to your team and it can OHKO it with SR down. Heatran is outpaced by Jolly versions. overall gl.
