Dragon
========

Access to utility moves such as Defog and Heal Bell lets Mega Altaria run a supportive set, as Dragon-type teams lack reliable entry hazard removers and are weak to hazards and status.

[SET]
name: Support
move 1: Body Slam
move 2: Roost
move 3: Defog
move 4: Heal Bell
item: Altarianite
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Body Slam is Mega Altaria's only attacking move, letting it deal a decent amount of damage with a chance to paralyze the opposing Pokemon. Roost lets Mega Altaria recover its HP after switching into attacks, increasing its longevity on the field. Running Defog grants Mega Altaria the ability to remove entry hazards while freeing its teammates like Choice Scarf Latios from running it. Heal Bell gives Mega Altaria the ability to remove status effects from your team.

Set Details
========

176 Speed EVs and a Jolly nature let Mega Altaria outspeed Adamant Dragonite, Adamant Diggersby, Jolly Bisharp, and Jolly Breloom. 252 HP and 80 Defense EVs make Mega Altaria as bulky as possible, letting it take hits such as Choice Scarf Greninja's Gunk Shot more comfortably. Natural Cure lets Altaria cure its status effect when it switches out, which can allow it to be used as a status sponge before it Mega Evolves. Altarianite lets Altaria Mega Evolve and grants it Pixilate, which transforms Body Slam into an effective STAB move.

Usage Tips
========

Try to Mega Evolve Altaria early-game to take advantage of its Fairy typing, which can be used to keep Dark- and Dragon-types under control and allow it to pivot more often and more safely due to the Pixilate and Defense boost it gets. In matchups such as against Poison- and Steel-type teams where Mega Altaria has very little to offer, not Mega Evolving is a decent choice of action, as Altaria can use Defog and Heal Bell safer and can utilize Natural Cure to act as a status sponge against common status spreaders like Toxapex. Use Mega Altaria's good defensive typing and decent natural bulk to pivot into Choice-locked foes such as Victini and Latios, as well as weak attacks from Pokemon like Mantine and Toxapex. However, make sure to restore its HP with Roost before it switches out so it can switch in and use Defog more consistently during the game. Try to spread paralysis with Body Slam against faster threats and Choice Scarf users such as Greninja to help your team. Use Defog to keep hazards away from your side of field, as Mega Altaria's capability of removing Stealth Rock safely helps with bringing in wallbreakers like Kyurem-B and Dragonite more consistently. Be wary of setup sweepers like Swords Dance Mega Scizor, as Mega Altaria's lack of offensive presence is easily punished; switch out to teammates like Garchomp and Dragonite that can handle those setup sweepers.

Team Options
========

Mega Altaria's part Fairy typing paired up with utility options such as Defog and Heal Bell makes it a valuable pick for every Dragon-type team, as its Dragon immunity will help with a mirror matchup. Dragonite makes an excellent partner to Mega Altaria, as Dragonite can break through Steel- and Poison-types like Mega Scizor and Toxapex with its moves while Mega Altaria keeps Dragonite safe from Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave, as well as help keep its Multiscale up by removing Stealth Rock with Defog. Garchomp makes another good partner for Mega Altaria, as it can pressure Steel- and Poison-types with Earthquake as well as checking Scizor with Fire Blast. Its access to Stealth Rock will also help you pressure the opposing team's hazard removal Pokemon and slowly break through them, Garchomp can force their entry hazard removal Pokemon out with Dragon Tail and cripple them with Toxic. Mega Altaria's Defog benefits Pokemon like Choice Scarf Latios, as it gives a free slot to Latios for Hidden Power Steel to help with Mega Diancie, which is a huge threat to Dragon-type teams. Kyurem-B is another partner that appreciates Defog support, as its typing makes it very vulnerable to entry hazards. In addition to that, the paralysis from Body Slam make up for Kyurem-B's mediocre Speed stat, letting it outspeed Pokemon like Choice Scarf Greninja, Choice Scarf Keldeo, and Choice Scarf Terrakion. In return, Kyurem-B can deal with Mega Venusaur, Celesteela, and Toxapex for Mega Altaria. Kommo-o makes a decent partner for Mega Altaria, as it can beat common Stealth Rock setters like Hippowdon and Tyranitar as well as break through Steel-types with STAB-boosted Close Combat. In return, Mega Altaria keeps Kommo-o safe from Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, and Thunder Wave, allowing Kommo-o to be an effective late-game sweeper.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

*Body Slam is Mega Altaria's only attacking move, lets Mega Altaria deal decent amount of damage with the Pixilate boost. The 30% Paralyze effect lets Mega Altaria to spread paralysis to the opposing team.
- you don't want to add fluff to this, just focus on what it does in the metagame, don't spew dex info.

*Roost lets Mega Altaria recover its HP back after switching in attacks, increasing its longetivity in the field.
*Running Defog grants Mega Altaria the ability to remove hazards, while freeing its teammates like Choice Scarf Latios from running it.
*Heal Bell gives Mega Altaria the capability of removing status effects from your team., preventing your team getting worn down by Toxic and keeping your physical wallbreakers safe from Will-O-Wisp.
- again just extra fluff, if you want to talk about its specific effects give a teammate who appreciates getting a status aliment removed like curing Dragonite's burn.

Set Details
========
*Maximum HP investment allows Mega Altaria to be bulky, letting it take hits more comfortably. 176 Speed and Jolly nature lets Mega Altaria reach to 264 Speed, letting it outspeed Adamant Diggersby and Base 70 speed mons Pokemon. Remaining EV's are put in defense to increase its physical bulk. Natural Cure lets you cure your status effect when you switch out and Pixilate turns your Normal-Type attacks into Fairy-Type and boost them by 1.2.

- firstly, dont write this into a paragraph until after the 2nd check. also seperate the bullets, into these.
* Maximum HP + 80 Def
* 176 Spe + Jolly nature
* Altarianite
* Natural Cure

* Pixilate

Usage Tips
========

* Use Mega Altaria's good defensive typing and decent natural bulk to take advantage of choice locked users such as Victini, Latios and Tapu Bulu, as well as pivoting in weak attacks and recover your HP back with Roost.
- rephrase this, i know what you mean but its kinda weird. say instead how mega altaria should take advantage of its defensive typing to Roost or etc. on common attackers like what you have listed above.

* talk about topping mega altaria's health off with roost before switching out if possible so it can switch-in later with more ease.

* Use Defog to keep hazards away from your field, in order to bring in your wallbreakers in safer and more consistently.
- would list specifically dragonite and kyurem-b really love its ability to safely remove Stealth Rock instead of just saying wallbreakers.

* Use your Heal Bell to remove status effects your team suffers from. However it should not be used each time a pokemon gets a status effect, as Heal Bell has only 8 PP and it can be stalled out by status spreaders.
* Try to Mega evolve Altaria in the earlier stages of the game, as it is best to take advantage of the Fairy typing as well as the defense boost and pixilate, letting Mega Altaria pivot more often and safer.
- talk about using altaria before mega evolution as a status absorber thanks to natural cure.

* In matchups where Mega Altaria has very little to offer such as Poison and Steel, not Mega Evolving right away is helpful for using your utility options easier as well as using Natural Cure effectively and act as a status absorber.
- it can also defog hazards away with more ease in these matchups without mega evolving, perhaps its most important use on dragon teams.

* Be wary of set up sweepers such as Scizor-Mega and Z-Happy Hour Jirachi , as Mega Altaria's lack of offensive presence is easily punished.
- say something like this instead "Switch out to a teammate that can handle x pokemon, as it can easily setup on Mega Altaria etc." obviously not that exactly, but along those lines.

* talk about fishing for paras with body slam

Team Options
========
* Mega Altaria's access to Defog benefits Kyurem Black and Dragonite greatly, as the former suffers greatly from hazards and the latter needs to keep its Multiscale up. Choice Band Dragonite also cleans the Steel types Altaria struggles against, with Fire Punch and Superpower respectively.
* Running Defog on Mega Altaria frees a move slot from Latios, letting it be a better offensive presence without draining the momentum drastically. Latios also cleans Poison-type pokemons for Mega Altaria.
* Garchomp makes an excellent partner for Mega Altaria as it can take multiple hits from Mega Scizor and capable of killing it back with Fire Blast, as well as dealing with poison types with its STAB Earthquake.
* Hydreigon makes a good synergy with Mega Altaria, as Hydreigon is capable of dealing with Bulky Ghost and Psychic types types like Jellicent and Slowbro, while Mega Altaria can beat Mega Sableye for Hydreigon and switch in freely against the Fighting Type pokemons that threathens Hydreigon, like Terrakion and Keldeo.

clean up the teammates section, look at this analysis to see how it should look like. https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/zeraora-qc-1-3.3642837/

* Mega Altaria has no viable other options.
Fire Blast can be run in order to hit Scizor Mega and Ferrothorn, but lack of recovery causes Mega Altaria to die quicker.
this is a solid job overall for your first analysis. Though you might want to go over the GP spelling & grammar standards, because you want to know how to format, capitalize, use hyphens correctly, write down mega forms correctly etc.

Moves
========

*Body Slam is Mega Altaria's only attacking move, lets Mega Altaria deal decent amount of damage with the Pixilate boost.
- dont say because of pixilate boost, just say stab attack instead. also when i said dont spew dex info i meant 30% chance to para, you can include that it can para the foe though.

*Roost lets Mega Altaria recover its HP back after switching in attacks, increasing its longetivity in the field.
*Running Defog grants Mega Altaria the ability to remove hazards, while freeing its teammates like Choice Scarf Latios from running it.
*Heal Bell gives Mega Altaria the capability of removing status effects from your team.

Set Details
========
*176 Speed and Jolly nature lets Mega Altaria reach to 264 Speed, letting it outspeed Adamant Diggersby and Base 70 speed mons.
- dont say base 70 mons, just give examples like breloom and bisharp.

*252 HP and 80 Defense EV's lets Mega Altaria to be bulky , letting it take hits more comfortably.
- add examples of what this can help it tank

*Natural Cure lets you cure your status effect when you switch out.

*Altarianite lets Altaria Mega Evolve into Mega Altaria.
*Pixilate turns your Normal-Type attacks into Fairy-Type and boost them by x1.2.
- combine the altarianite and pixilate line, feel like that would just be better. since after all, it megas then gains pixilate.

Usage Tips
========
* Use Mega Altaria's good defensive typing and decent natural bulk to take advantage of choice locked users such as Victini, Latios and Tapu Bulu, as well as pivoting in weak attacks.
- dont say take advantage, it sounds awkward and semi-confusing. Instead say something like "good defensive typing and decent natural bulk allow it to switch into common offensive threats such as x, x, and x."

*Make sure to regain your lost HP with Roost before you switch out, in order to switch in more consistently.
- would specify that topping off its hp also allows it defog easier later in the game.

*Try to get paralyzes with your Body Slam against faster threats and Choice Scarf users to help your team.
- give examples of what the dragon team likes having paralyzed, like greninja which this form of altaria can tank ice beam a bit easier from.

*Use Defog to keep hazards away from your field, its capability of removing Stealth Rock safely helps with bringing in wallbreakers like Kyurem-Black and Dragonite more consistently.
*Use your Heal Bell to remove status effects your team suffers from. However Homewer it should not be used each time a pokemon gets a status effect, as Heal Bell has only 8 PP and it can be stalled out by status spreaders.
*Try to Mega Evolve Altaria in the earlier stages of the game, as it is best to take advantage of the Fairy typing as well as the defense boost and Pixilate, letting Mega Altaria pivot more often and safer.
*Not Mega Evolving lets Altaria to use Natural Cure and act as a sponge against status spreaders.
*In matchups where Mega Altaria has very little to offer such as Poison and Steel, not Mega Evolving is a decent choice of action as Altaria can use Defog and Heal Bell safer.
- move this bullet to under the bullet about mega'ing as soon as possible to take advantage of its fairy typing and start this sentence off w/ however.

*Be wary of set up sweepers like Swords Dance Mega Scizor as Mega Altaria's lack of offensive presence is easily punished, switch out to teammates pokemons that can handle those set up sweepers like Garchomp and Dragonite.

Team Options
========
*As Dragon-type is very vulnerable vulnereable to hazards and status, Mega Altaria's access to Defog and Heal Bell makes it a valuable partner to every Dragon-Type Pokémon.
- add dragon type immunity as why its useful to teammates as well, feel like thats important

*Dragonite makes an excellent partner to Mega Altaria, as Dragonite can break through Steel and Poison-Types with its moves while Mega Altaria Defogs away the Stealth Rock which is needed to keep Multiscale up.
- give examples of steel & poison pokemon Dragonite can break through for Mega Altaria such as Toxapex and Mega Scizor.

*Garchomp makes another good partner for Mega Altaria, as it can pressure Steel and Poison-Types with Earthquake as well as checking Scizor with Fire Blast. Its access to Stealth Rocks will also help you pressure their hazard removal Pokémons as well as slowly breaking the opposing team.
*Mega Altaria's Defog benefits Pokémons like Choice Scarf Latios , as it frees them from running it while Latios helps Mega Altaria with cleaning up the Poison-Types like Mega Venusaur.
- also mention how it frees up a slot for hp steel, which allows latios to take care of Mega Diancie, which is a huge threat to the type.

*Kyurem Black is another partner that appreciates the Defog support, as its typing makes it very vulnerable vulnereable to hazards. In addition to that, the paralyzes from Body Slam makes it up with Kyurem Black's mediocre speed stat.
- if you want to use body slam as support for kyurem-black name something its usually not able to beat but can when para'd

*Kommo-o is a good late game cleaner that appreciates the Defog and Heal Bell support, as it needs to be healthy in order to sweep effectively and its easily crippled by Toxic and Toxic Spikes. Its part Fighting-Type also lets it threaten threathen most of Steel-Types unboosted.
- eh kommo doesnt really care 2 much for heal bell, since it is gonna waste its z-move the first time it has an oppurtunity, so if it gets like burnt after that its not very good. talk about how kommo-o can beat common hazard setters like tyranitar and hippowdon for Mega Altaria.

also you dont need to mention defog support for every pokemon in the team options.

*Use your Heal Bell with caution and do not use it right away as a Pokémon gets statused in your team, as Heal Bell has only 8 PP and it can be stalled out by status spreaders.
i feel like u could merge these two

Dragon
========

*Its access to Defog makes it a valuable asset for Dragon-type teams, as the type itself lacks reliable removers and is very vulnereable to hazards. I think you should preface this with a statement that it can run a supportive set, as this wouldn't be apparent as compared to the offensive set that the overview mainly speaks on.

move 1: Body Slam
move 2: Roost
move 3: Defog
move 4: Heal Bell

*Body Slam is Mega Altaria's only attacking move, lets Mega Altaria deal decent amount of damage and comes with a chance of paralyzing the opposing Pokémon.

Set Details
========
*176 Speed and Jolly nature lets Mega Altaria reach to 264 Speed, letting it outspeed Adamant Diggersby , Jolly Bisharp and Breloom.
*252 HP and 80 Defense EV's lets makes Mega Altaria to be bulky as bulky as possible , letting it take hits more comfortably such as Choice Scarf Greninja's Ice Beam. Defense and Ice Beam arent related, I'd suggest using a different example.
*Natural Cure lets you cure your status effect when you switch out. Give this context - allowing Altaria to cure its poisoning or paralysis - allows Mega Alt to act as a status sponge which can be beneficial in certain matchups
*Altarianite lets Altaria Mega Evolve into Mega Altaria and grants you Pixilate, which turns your Normal-Type attacks into Fairy-Type and boost them by x1.2 transforming its Body Slam into an effective STAB attack.

Usage Tips
========
* Use Mega Altaria's good defensive typing and decent natural bulk to pivot against choice locked users such as Victini, Latios and Tapu Bulu, as well as weak attacks from Pokémons like Mantine. Tapu Bulu is a bad example as Scarf Bulu is not threatening to Dragon at all.
*Make sure to regain your lost HP with Roost before you switch out, in order to switch in and Defog more consistently during the game.
*Try to get paralyzes with your Body Slam against faster threats and Choice Scarf users such as Choice Scarf Greninja to help your team.
*Use Defog to keep hazards away from your field, its capability of removing Stealth Rock safely helps with bringing in wallbreakers like Kyurem-Black and Dragonite more consistently.
*Use your Heal Bell to remove status effects your team suffers from.
*Use your Heal Bell with caution and do not use it right away as a Pokémon gets statused in your team, as Heal Bell has only 8 PP and it can be stalled out by status spreaders.
These are sorta obvious, don't need to point out.
Give this context, some examples of matchups where its better to not Mega Evolve immediately or at all (such as Normal)
*In matchups where Mega Altaria has very little to offer such as Poison and Steel, not Mega Evolving is a decent choice of action as Altaria can use Defog and Heal Bell safer. Giving this context in the above bullet removed the need for it here, I think it's better to explain non-obvious matchups where status is key rather than the obvious two that resist fairy.
*Be wary of set up sweepers like Swords Dance Mega Scizor as Mega Altaria's lack of offensive presence is easily punished, switch out to teammates that can handle those set up sweepers like Garchomp and Dragonite.

Team Options
========
*As Dragon-type is very vulnerable to hazards and status, Mega Altaria's access to Defog and Heal Bell makes it a valuable partner to every Dragon-Type Pokémon.
*Its part Fairy-typ makes it a good pick for every Dragon team, as it grants immunity to Dragon-type for your team which is very helpful with the mirror matchup. Meld this into the previous sentence, they don't need to be two unique statements.
*Dragonite makes an excellent partner to Mega Altaria, as Dragonite can break through Steel and Poison-Types like Mega Scizor and Toxapex with its moves while Mega Altaria Defogs away the Stealth Rock which is needed to keep Multiscale up. Dragonite also has subpar speed and appreciate the paralysis potential - more important probably; removes reliance on espeed
*Mega Altaria's Defog benefits Pokémons like Choice Scarf Latios , as it gives a free slot to Latios for Hidden Power Steel that helps with Mega Diancie which is a huge threat to Dragon-type teams. Latios also can clean Poison-type pokemons for Mega Altaria such as Toxapex And Mega Venusaur. You don't need to continuously talk about how partners can beat Poison-types.
*Kyurem Black is another partner that appreciates the Defog support, as its typing makes it very vulnerable to hazards. In addition to that, the paralyzes from Body Slam makes it up with Kyurem Black's mediocre speed stat, letting it outspeed Pokémons like Choice Scarf Greninja, Choice Scarf Keldeo and Choice Scarf Terrakion.
*Kommo-o makes a decent partner for Mega Altaria as it can beat common Stealth Rock setters like Hippowdon and Tyranitar, as well as breaking through Steel Types with its STAB attack.

~"252 HP and 80 Defense EV's makes Mega Altaria as bulky as possible, letting it take hits more comfortably such as Choice Scarf Greninja's Ice Beam." You still need to adjust this sentence; mentioning investment into physical defense then giving a special attack as an example doesn't work here. Perhaps use Gunk Shot Greninja instead?

Usage Tips:
~Very important that you mention Mega Altaria is a useful Dragon-type immunity, as well as a check to Dark teams. (I know you mention it in Team Options further down, but I think this fact is too important to be down so far.)

Team Options:
~Also mention how Mega Altaria's Defog support is beneficial for Dragonite by being able to preserve its Multiscale.
~Mention how Kyurem-B's insane coverage is solid against foes such as Celesteela, Mega Venusaur and Toxapex that otherwise hard check/counter Mega Altaria.
~Specify what STAB (Fighting-type STAB) and other coverage moves Kommo-o would be using to assist Mega Altaria in threatening Steel-types (really just a clarification for the reader).
~I'd also mention how much more potent Kommo-o acts as a setup sweeper when backed up by Mega Altaria's Heal Bell and Defog support.

Other Options:
~Optional, but you can add Refresh here.

Besides the grammar, seems alright to me; well done. QC 3/3

Moves
========

Body Slam is Mega Altaria's only attacking move, lets Mega Altaria letting it deal a decent amount of damage and comes with a chance of paralyzing to paralyze the opposing Pokémon Pokemon. Roost lets Mega Altaria recover its HP back after switching into attacks, increasing its longevity in on the field. Running Defog grants Mega Altaria the ability to remove hazards while freeing its teammates like Choice Scarf Latios from running it. Heal Bell gives Mega Altaria the capability of removing status effects from your team.

Set Details
========
176 Speed and a Jolly nature lets Mega Altaria outspeed Adamant Dragonite and Diggersby, Jolly Bisharp and Breloom (if you're grouping these as in adamant dragonite and adamant diggersby just say adamant diggersby and jolly breloom and add commas respectively, didn't wanna do it myself because i could be wrong). 252 HP and 80 Defense EV's (remove apostrophe) makes Mega Altaria as bulky as possible, letting it take hits such as Choice Scarf Greninja's Gunk Shot more comfortably such as Choice Scarf Greninja's Gunk Shot. Natural Cure lets you cure your status effect when you switch out, (AC) which can be used as a status sponge before Altaria Mega Evolves. Altarianite lets Altaria Mega Evolve into Mega Altaria and grants you Pixilate, which transforms your Body Slam into an effective STAB move.

Usage Tips
========

Try to Mega Evolve Altaria in the earlier stages of the game, as it is best early-game to as take advantage of its Fairy typing, (AC) which can be used to keep Dark- (add hyphen) and Dragon-types under control, as well as the Defense boost and Pixilate which lets Mega Altaria allow it to pivot more often and safer due to the Defense boost and Pixilate it would get. But in In matchups such as Poison- and Steel-type teams where Mega Altaria has very little to offer such as Poison and Steel, not Mega Evolving is a decent choice of action, (AC) as Altaria can use Defog and Heal Bell safer, as well as using and can utilize Natural cure and Cure to act as a status sponge against the common status spreaders such as like Chansey. Use Mega Altaria's good defensive typing and decent natural bulk to pivot against choice locked Choice-locked users such as Victini and Latios, as well as weak attacks from Pokémons Pokemon like Mantine and Toxapex. (add period) and However, (AC) make sure to regain your lost HP with Roost before you switch out, (RC) in order to switch in and Defog more consistently during the game. Try to get paralyzes spread paralysis with your Body Slam against faster threats and Choice Scarf users such as Choice Scarf Greninja to help your team. Use Defog to keep hazards away from your field, as its capability of removing Stealth Rock safely helps with bringing in wallbreakers (remove space) like Kyurem-Black and Dragonite more consistently. Be wary of setup sweepers like Swords Dance Mega Scizor, (AC) as Mega Altaria's lack of offensive presence is easily punished, (RC); (add semicolon) switch out to teammates like Garchomp and Dragonite that can handle those setup sweepers like Garchomp and Dragonite. (changed the positioning of words for clarity, and you can choose to make this one sentence instead of using a semicolon, up to you)
