[OVERVIEW]
With a solid defensive typing in Psychic, all-around good stats, and an incredibly diverse movepool, Mew carves itself a strong standing within the 1v1 metagame. With viable moves in both offensive and defensive departments like Fake Out, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Soft-Boiled, Will-O-Wisp, Ice Beam, Overheat, and Transform, Mew is capable of being played in a variety of different playstyles, adding to its unpredictability and setting it apart from other Psychic-types such as Mega Gardevoir, Tapu Lele, and Mega Slowbro. However, Mew's typing leaves it vulnerable to common threats such as most Dark-types - Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Incineroar, Hoopa-U, and Mega Sableye in particular - as well as other Pokemon like Aegislash, Volcarona, and Z-Conversion Porygon-Z.

Moves
========

Soft-Boiled allows Mew to recover off any damage, allowing it to outstall foes like Donphan, Magearna, and non-Taunt Heatran. Taunt prevents slower Pokemon like Primarina, Tapu Lele, Crustle, Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, and Zygarde from setting up or using other status moves like opposing Taunt, Sleep Powder, and Rest, to hinder Mew's strategies. Will-O-Wisp and Barrier both help Mew take on physical attackers like Mega Mawile and Crustle. Will-O-Wisp cuts the foe's Attack in half, as well as dealing chip damage and reducing critical hit damage, while Barrier allows Mew to boost its Defense up to +6 and also works against opposing Fire-type Pokemon. Barrier is commonly run with Seismic Toss, as Mew no longer has a way to damage opposing Pokemon without Will-O-Wisp. Amnesia boosts Mew's Special Defense, and combined with Soft-Boiled, it gives Mew the potential to outstall Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, special Dragonite, and Naganadel. Seismic Toss can be used over any move besides Soft-Boiled if more consistent damage is needed and Mew isn't required to boost both defenses. The move helps when stalling is not a reliable way to win, such as against Heatran, which is immune to Will-O-Wisp, and Jumpluff, which can hide behind a Substitute to avoid Will-O-Wisp.

Set Details
========
212 HP and 44 Special Defense EVs give Mew the best chance of surviving both physical and special attacks, specifically Bug Buzz from Choice Specs Genesect and two Sludge Waves from Choice Specs Naganadel after using Amnesia. Maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature is used to allow Mew to outspeed slower foes to give it the chance to react to anything the opponent can do, such as to use Taunt against opposing Taunt users, Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers, or Amnesia to boost its Special Defense. It also allows it to Speed tie with opposing base 100 Speed Pokemon, such as Mega Gardevoir and Mega Charizard X and Y, which is essential in order to potentially Taunt them before they set up or to boost Mew's defenses before they attack. Kee Berry allows Mew to immediately get a +1 Defense boost when hit by a physical attack. This gives it a better chance against physical attackers like Haxorus and Mega Metagross, as Mew can safely use Soft-Boiled to heal off the damage from the first hit, gain the +1 Defense boost, and rest easy for subsequent attacks. An alternate spread of 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 Spe with a Timid nature, Seismic Toss, and Barrier can also be run to better take on physical attackers, specifically letting you beat Mega Charizard X without having to worry about Jolly Dragon Dance variants.

Usage Tips
========
Generally, Stall Mew is quite straightforward to use, as you simply want to nullify the opponent's actions. For physical attackers such as Donphan and non-Substitute Mega Metagross, use Will-O-Wisp to cut their Attack in half, or use Barrier if you are running it. However, against faster physical foes, it may be better to use Soft-Boiled first, as they will trigger Mew's Kee Berry, which will allow it to recover its HP to where it can safely use Will-O-Wisp. This is useful in cases such as against Choice Scarf Haxorus and Choice Scarf Archeops. Against special attackers such as bulky Mega Charizard Y, Primarina, and special Dragonite, use Amnesia to boost Mew's Special Defense, and against foes that can set up or use other status moves, use Taunt. This is relevant for Pokemon like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados, Dragon Dance Dragonite, Crustle, Tapu Lele, Zygarde, and certain Stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Pyukumuku, to block their recovery moves and other status options. Against certain foes, you may want to shut down their offenses before using Taunt; for example, against non-Taunt Mega Gardevoir, use Amnesia before locking it down. Seismic Toss is used to prevent Mew from being useless if it gets Taunted. This makes it easier against foes such as fast Taunt Mega Gardevoir, Flame Charge Type: Null, and Tapu Fini. It also reduces the chances that Mew can get hit by a critical hit, which is likely to happen if it is forced to PP stall its foe. Kee Berry Mew's only chance against Jolly Mega Charizard X is to have both Barrier and Seismic Toss, along with a physically defensive EV spread. This combination also helps for matchups like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and physical Dragonite.

Team Options
========
Kee Berry Mew has many viable potential partners. In particular, Pokemon like Tapu Fini and Primarina are good checks for Mega Charizard X if you are not running both Barrier and Seismic Toss, and they also deal with Pokemon like Crunch Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Volcarona, and Pheromosa. Encore Primarina can tackle Mega Slowbro, while Icy Wind Tapu Fini takes care of stall Deoxys-S as well. In return, Mew is able to handle Pokemon like Magearna, non-Substitute Mega Metagross, and Tapu Lele. Zeraora and Magnezone provide support by tackling frailer Pokemon such as Greninja, Volcarona, and Hoopa-U. They also take out important Water-types like non-Earthquake Mega Gyarados and Mega Slowbro, and powerful Normal-types like Meloetta and Normalium Z Porygon-Z. Magnezone is another threat to Mew that Zeraora takes care of. Mew checks bulkier Pokemon like Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, and non Substitute Mega Metagross, in return. More importantly, it defeats most Ground-type Pokemon that check Magnezone, like Zygarde, Donphan, and Landorus-T, all of which are immune to Magnezone's Electric-type attacks.

Moves
========
Psychic becomes Mew's signature move, Genesis Supernova, when used with Mewnium Z. It is Mew's primary attacking move, allowing it to beat Kommo-o and Mega Venusaur right off the bat and OHKO Zygarde at +2. It also sets up Psychic Terrain, boosting Mew's subsequent Psychic-type moves, as well as blocking priority moves from opposing Pokemon. This allows Mew to beat Pokemon like Mega Charizard X and Prankster Pokemon like Whimsicott. Fake Out lets Mew freely break Sturdy on Pokemon like fast Magnezone, Sawk, Carracosta, non-Protect Crustle, and Donphan, which allows Mew to finish them off the following turn without fear of retaliation. Overheat hits the Steel-types that resist Genesis Supernova, such as Celesteela and uninvested Magnezone. Nasty Plot increases Mew's Special Attack so it can beat passive foes like Type: Null and Porygon2. Calm Mind is another option over Nasty Plot that can help Mew take on specially offensive threats like Primarina, Heatran, and Magearna better.

Set Details
========
The 120 HP EVs allow Mew to survive a Draco Meteor from Choice Specs Naganadel. The 52 Defense EVs on top of that allow Mew to take an Outrage from Choice Band Haxorus as well as almost always survive a Giga Impact from Mega Pinsir. 152 Speed EVs allow Mew to outspeed Smeargle and bulky Mega Charizard X. The remaining EVs are put into Special Attack to hit as hard as possible, which is crucial for taking on Pokemon such as Mega Charizard X and Magnezone. Mewnium Z turns Psychic into Genesis Supernova.

Usage Tips
========
In most cases, such as against Mega Charizard X and Sturdy Pokemon, Mew simply has to use Fake Out for some chip damage before unleashing a Genesis Supernova to finish off the foe. Against bulky Mega Charizard X, you may need to use Psychic again. Be wary that some Sturdy Pokemon such as Donphan and Crustle run Protect, so it may be better to use Mew's Z-Move first. Against Steel-types like Ferrothorn and fast Magnezone, use Overheat after Fake Out. For bulkier Pokemon like Zygarde, non-Substitute Primarina, slow Tapu Fini, Mega Aggron, and Celesteela, use Fake Out and then Nasty Plot or Calm Mind before attacking with Genesis Supernova or Overheat. Against Substitute Primarina and Magearna, you will need to use Calm Mind. For Magearna, simply keep using Calm Mind before finishing it off with two Overheats. Mega Mawile is a special case, as it uses a priority move in Sucker Punch. Thus, Mew should use Fake Out followed by Genesis Supernova to set up Psychic Terrain and prevent Sucker Punch, before using Overheat.

Team Options
========
Pokemon that can cover Mew's Dark-type weakness are great partners. Primarina can take on the likes of Mega Gyarados, Greninja, and Incineroar, as well as Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona, while Mew handles Ferrothorn, Celesteela, and slow Tapu Fini. Specially defensive Mega Mawile is good at beating most Dark-types, as well as Porygon-Z, Meloetta, and Mega Gardevoir. Mew can take care of Mega Charizard X, Primarina, Zygarde, Sturdy Pokemon, Mega Aggron, and Celesteela, all of which trouble Mega Mawile. Magnezone is also a good partner for Mew, as it can cover Pokemon like Greninja, Porygon-Z, Meloetta, and Mega Gardevoir, while Mew can handle most Fighting-type Pokemon like Sawk, Kommo-o, and Mega Medicham, as well as Pokemon like Mega Venusaur.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Mew can run a wide variety of sets, however, they usually come at a huge opportunity cost compared to the ones above. In contrast, they can catch opponents off guard, as they cover a completely different set of Pokemon. On the offensive Mew set, other moves can be run, such as Ice Beam for Garchomp, Focus Blast or Aura Sphere for Mega Gyarados and Heatran, and Taunt for stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Whimsicott. Running maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature can also allow Mew to outspeed Pokemon like Porygon-Z and Tapu Lele. Normalium Z Transform Mew with maximum HP and Speed investment can run a set with Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, and Thunder Wave to catch opponents off guard. It allows Mew to cripple foes before using Z-Transform to transform into them with full HP. This lets Mew circumvent some of its common checks, particularly Dark-types like Mega Gyarados and Mega Tyranitar.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Super Effective STAB Attackers**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Hoopa-U, Incineroar, and Greninja generally have an easy time against most Mew sets, as they are immune to its Psychic-type attacks. Bug-type Pokemon such as Volcarona and Pheromosa are good Mew checks. Aegislash and Normalium Z Conversion Porygon-Z are also potent threats to Mew.

**Opposing Psychic-type Pokemon**: Psychic-type Pokemon naturally resists Mew's STAB moves, making it hard for Mew to leave a dent in them. Meloetta can set up with Z-Celebrate and break through defensive Mew with Laser Focus while easily taking any hit from the offensive set. Victini is immune to Will-O-Wisp, and can use Trick to remove Kee Berry from defensive Mew, and resists its main offensive moves in Psychic and Overheat.

**Taunt-Immune Stall Pokemon**: Although Seismic Toss Mew has ways of breaking through some stall Pokemon such as Jumpluff and Type: Null, Mew has trouble dealing with others like Mega Slowbro, Mega Sableye, and Deoxys-S, as they either are immune to Taunt via their ability or can outspeed and Taunt Mew first, as well as shrug off most of its offensive attacks.

**Serperior**: Serperior poses a significant threat to Mew, as it is faster than the stall set and can outstall Mew with Leech Seed while also being able to take down offensive Mew by tanking any hit and retaliating with Leaf Storm.

  • Soft-Boiled allows Mew to recover off any damage, allowing it to stall out opponents like Donphan, Choice Band Garchomp, and Heatran. Soft-Boiled is used over Roost, although they both have the same effect.
  • Taunt prevents slower opponents [you list some not slower opponents Ie jumpluff so expand on this comment to include why you taunt these pokemon] like Primarina, Tapu Lele, Jumpluff, Mega Altaria, and Zygarde from using status moves. Some important status moves it blocks include opposing Taunt, set up moves like Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, and recovery moves like Recover, Roost, Leech Seed, and Rest.
  • Will-O-Wisp cuts the opponent's attack in half. Barrier allows Mew to boost its Defense up to +6, however Will-O-Wisp deals chip damage as well as reducing crit damage. They are both useful for defeating physically offensive Pokemon like Mega Mawile and Crustle. Barrier also lets Mew take on Fire-types easier, as they are immune to Will-O-Wisp.
  • Amnesia boosts Mew's Special Defense, and combined with Recover Soft Boiled, allows Mew to stall out Pokemon such as Magearna, special Dragonite, and Naganadel.

This is relevant for Pokemon like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and physical Z-move Dragonite for Dragon Dance, Crustle for Shell Smash, Tapu Lele for Taunt or Calm Mind, Zygarde for Coil or Rest, and certain Stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Pyukumuku, to block their recovery moves and other status options.
  • Against certain opponents, you may want to shut down their offenses before using Taunt. This is useful against opponents such as Magearna and Mega Gardevoir, where you may want to use Amnesia before locking them down with Taunt.

Moves
========
  • Psychic becomes Mew's Signature Move, Genesis Supernova, when used with Mewnium Z. It is Mew's primary attacking move and allows it to beat [what?!? WHat does it allow it to beat! I'm on the edge of my seat!]
  • Fake Out lets Mew get a free hit off on Sturdy Pokemon like non-protect Crustle, Carracosta, and Donphan, which allows Mew to finish them off the following turn without fear of retaliation.
  • Overheat hits the Steel-types that resist Genesis Supernova, such as Mega Metagross and Magneton.
  • Nasty Plot increases Mew's Special Attack so it can beat over specially defensive Pokemon like Magearna and Type: Null.
Set Details
========
  • Max Special Attack with a Modest Nature is the most optimal for offensive Mew to give the best chance against Pokemon such as uninvested Dragonite and max HP Donphan.
  • Max HP is utilised as Mew already has decent defensive stats, and allows it to survive hits from Mega Charizard X, Magearna, and Naganadel.
  • The remaining EVs are put into Speed to speedcreep other uninvested Base 100 Speed Pokemon.
  • Mewnium Z turns Psychic into Genesis Supernova which helps Mew take out foes like Kommo-o and Mega Venusaur with ease. It also sets up Psychic Terrain, boosting Mew's subsequent Psychic-type moves as well as blocking priority from opponents.
Usage Tips
========
  • In most cases, such as against offensive Mega Charizard X, Sturdy Pokemon, Dragonite, Mew simply has to Fake Out for some chip damage, before unleashing a Genesis Supernova to finish off the opponent. Be wary that some Charizards are defensive, and some Sturdy Pokemon run Protect.
  • Against Steel-types like Ferrothorn and fast Magnezone use Overheat after Fake Out.
  • Some Pokemon are bulkier and will not go down after one hit. In this case, set up a Nasty Plot after Fake out, before attacking with a stronger move. This is because Psychic in Psychic Terrain does not do as much as a +2 Genesis Supernova, and because Overheat reduces Mew's Special Attack after each hit.
  • For Pokemon like Zygarde, bulky Primarina, and slow Tapu Fini, using Nasty Plot into Genesis Supernova should do the job.
  • Against Mega Aggron and Celesteela, it is best to use Nasty Plot into Overheat. The same should be done for Magearna, but it is not always reliable.
  • Mega Mawile is a special case as it uses a priority move in Sucker Punch. As such, Mew should Fake Out, Genesis Supernova to set up Psychic Terrain and prevent Sucker Punch, before using Overheat.

  • Choice Scarf with Gunk Shot, Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Zen Headbutt can be run gain the upper hand on Pokemon like Mega Gardevoir, Zeraora, and Mega Charizard Y. Choice Band is also an option to hit harder on the physical side.
Checks and Counters

**Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X**: This Pokemon can check both Mew sets as it is immune to Will-O-Wisp, and can tank a hit from offensive Mew in order to 2HKO.

Also walled is kind of confusing in this context since it implies the Offensive set but you're actually talking about both sets, I'm not sure which one you want to make an example

Moves
========
  • Soft-Boiled allows Mew to recover off any damage, allowing it to stall out opponents like Donphan, Choice Band Garchomp, and Heatran. Soft-Boiled is used over Roost, although they both have the same effect.
  • Taunt prevents slower opponents like Primarina, Tapu Lele, Crustle, Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, and Zygarde from using status moves. It also prevents certain stall Pokemon from functioning optimally, such as Jumpluff. Some important status moves it blocks include opposing Taunt, set up moves like Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, and recovery moves like Recover, Roost, Leech Seed, and Rest (Why is blocking these important? Talk about what this lets Kew do).
  • Will-O-Wisp cuts the opponent's attack in half. Barrier allows Mew to boost its Defense up to +6, however Will-O-Wisp deals chip damage as well as reducing crit damage (it also decreases the chance you get crit). They are both useful for defeating physically offensive Pokemon like Mega Mawile and Crustle. Barrier also lets Mew take on Fire-types easier (What fire types do you beat with it? What matchups do you gain or lose), as they are immune to Will-O-Wisp. (Also you should be using barrier with stoss to beat zardx and have a way to win without pure ppstall)
  • Amnesia boosts Mew's Special Defense, and combined with Soft-Boiled, allows Mew to stall out Pokemon such as Magearna (You don't need it for Magearna) , special Dragonite, and Naganadel.
  • Seismic Toss is an option if Mew isn't required to boost both defenses, and can be used over Amnesia to deal consistent damage. It helps when it is not reliable to win by stalling, such as against Heatran who is immune to Will-O-Wisp, Mew's only other form of damage, and Jumpluff, who can hide behind a Substitute to avoid Will-O-Wisp. (Mention the biggest reason to use this, Taunt users like Mega Gyarados)

It allows it to speedtie with opposing base 100s, such as Mega Gardevoir and Charizard (You still lose to both of these though, esp if garde has taunt).
  • The remaining EVs are put into Special Defense so Genesect does not get a Special Attack boost from Download.
  • Kee Berry allows Mew to immediately get a +1 Defense boost when hit by a physical attack. This gives it a better chance against physical attackers like Choice Scarf Archeops (This isn't a relevant threat, with 10% usage. Talk about MUs like CB Garchomp instead) and Haxorus, as Mew can safely Soft-Boiled off the first hit, gain the +1 Defense boost, and rest easy for subsequent attacks.
Usage Tips
========
  • Generally Stall Mew is quite straightforward to use, as you simply want to nullify the opponent's actions (this doesn't mean anything).
  • For physical attackers such as Donphan and Mega Metagross, use Will-O-Wisp to cut their Attack in half, or Barrier if you are running it.
  • However, against faster physical opponents, it may be better to Soft-Boiled first, as they will trigger your Kee Berry boost, which will allow you to recover to a HP where you can safely Will-O-Wisp. This is useful in cases such as against Choice Scarf Haxorus and Choice Scarf Archeops.
  • For special attackers such as Mega Charizard Y, Primarina and special Dragonite, use Amnesia to boost your Special Defense. (Just click amnesia against all Zards, since you lose to Y anyways)
  • For opponents that can set up, or use other status moves, use Taunt. This is relevant for Pokemon like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and physical Z-move Dragonite for Dragon Dance (not sure if you should single this out, but you should always taunt t1 against Dragonite, since either way you can recover and if they get off a dd you just lose), Crustle for Shell Smash, Tapu Lele for Taunt or Calm Mind, Zygarde for Coil or Rest, and certain Stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Pyukumuku, to block their recovery moves and other status options.
  • Against certain opponents, you may want to shut down their offenses before using Taunt. This is useful against opponents such as Magearna and Mega Gardevoir, where you may want to use Amnesia before locking them down with Taunt. (Against Magearna, you don't want it to set up at all b/c if you let them calm mind you have double the chance to lose by getting crit)
  • Seismic Toss is used to prevent Mew from being useless if it gets Taunted. This makes it easier against foes such as Mega Gardevoir, Flame Charge Type: Null, and Tapu Fini. It also reduces the chances that Mew can get crit if Mew is forced to PP stall its foe.
Team Options
========
  • Kee Mew has many viable potential partners. In particular, Pokemon like Tapu Fini and Primarina are good checks for Mega Charizard X, as well as dealing with Pokemon like Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Volcarona, Pheromosa. Encore Primarina can tackle Mega Slowbro, and Icy Wind Tapu Fini takes care of stall Deoxys-Speed as well. Mew in turn is able to handle Pokemon like Magearna, Mega Metagross, and Tapu Lele.
  • Zeraora and Magnezone provide support by tackling frailer Pokemon such as Greninja, Volcarona, and Hoopa-U. They also takes out important Water-types like Mega Gyarados and Mega Slowbro, and powerful Normal-types like Meloetta and Normalium Z Porygon-Z. Magnezone is another threat to Mew that Zeraora takes care of. Mew in return checks bulkier Pokemon like Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, and Mega Metagross. More importantly, it defeats most Ground-type Pokemon, like Zygarde, Donphan, and Landorus-T, all of which are immune to their Electric-type attacks.

Moves
========
  • Psychic becomes Mew's Signature Move, Genesis Supernova, when used with Mewnium Z. It is Mew's primary attacking move and allows it to beat Mega Heracross and Mega Venusaur right off the bat, and lets it OHKO Tapu Fini and Zygarde at +2.
  • Fake Out lets Mew get a free hit off on Sturdy Pokemon like non-Protect Crustle, Carracosta, and Donphan (none of these are the sturdy pokemon you run protect on), which allows Mew to finish them off the following turn without fear of retaliation.
  • Overheat hits the Steel-types that resist Genesis Supernova, such as Mega Metagross and Magneton.
  • Nasty Plot increases Mew's Special Attack so it can beat over specially defensive Pokemon like Magearna and Type: Null.
Set Details
========
It also sets up Psychic Terrain, boosting Mew's subsequent Psychic-type moves as well as blocking priority moves from opponents.
Usage Tips
========
The same should be done for Magearna, but it is not always reliable (So what do you do...).
  • Mega Mawile is a special case as it uses a priority move in Sucker Punch. As such, Mew should Fake Out, Genesis Supernova to set up Psychic Terrain and prevent Sucker Punch, before using Overheat.
Team Options
========
  • Pokemon that can cover Mew's Dark-type weakness are great partners. (Combine this with when you talk about dark types tho)
  • Primarina can take on Fire-types like both Charizards, Heatran, and Volcarona, on top of Dark-types like Mega Gyarados, Greninja, and Incineroar, while Mew handles Ferrothorn, Celesteela, and slow Tapu Fini.
  • Specially defensive Mega Mawile is good at beating most Dark-types, as well as Porygon-Z, Meloetta, and Mega Gardevoir. Mew can take care of Primarina, Zygarde, Sturdy Pokemon, Mega Aggron, Celesteela, all of which trouble Mega Mawile.
  • Magnezone is also a good partner for Mew as it can cover Pokemon like Greninja, Hoopa-U, Porygon-Z, Meloetta, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Slowbro, and opposing Mew (You lose to offensive mew if you're uninvested), while Mew can handle most Fighting-type Pokemon like Sawk, Kommo-o, and Mega Medicham, as well as Pokemon like Mega Venusaur.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • Mew can run a wide variety of sets, however they usually come at a huge opportunity cost to the ones above. In contrast, they can catch opponents off guard as they cover a completely different set of Pokemon.
  • On the defensive Mew set, Ice Beam can be run over Seismic Toss to hit Pokemon like Zygarde, Garchomp, and Landorus-T harder.
  • On the offensive Mew set, other moves can be run, such as Ice Beam for Garchomp (I would also mention focus blast for the gyara MU and Heatran), Calm Mind for specially offensive threats like Choice Specs Primarina (literally less than 2% usage, not at all applicable), or Taunt for Jumpluff (Definitely worth slashing, beats a lot more than just pluff). Running max Speed with a Timid nature can also allow Mew to outspeed Pokemon like Porygon-Z and Tapu Lele.
(Cursed AF sets with less than 1% usage, instead of including these consider adding the Z Transform set since it's pretty unique and has more usage)
Checks and Counters
===================
**Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X**: This Pokemon can check both Mew sets as it is immune to Will-O-Wisp, and can tank a hit from offensive Mew in order to 2HKO. (Generalize, how about bulky fire types?)

**Super Effective STAB Attackers**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Hoopa-U, Incineroar, and Greninja, generally have an easy time against most Mew sets, as they are immune to its Psychic attacks. Bug-type Pokemon such as Volcarona and Pheromosa are both good Mew checks. Aegislash and Normalium Z Conversion Porygon-Z are also potent threats to Mew .

** Stall Pokemon (that can beat Taunt)**: Although Mew has ways of breaking through some stall Pokemon such as Jumpluff and Type: Null (loses to flame charge without stoss), Mew has trouble dealing with others like Mega Slowbro, Mega Sableye, and Deoxys-Speed, as they are either immune to Taunt via their ability, or can outspeed and Taunt Mew first, as well as shrug off most of Mew's offensive attacks.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Mew has a solid defensive typing in Psychic, and with all around decent stats and an incredibly diverse movepool, Mew carves itself a strong standing within the 1v1 metagame.
  • With set up moves in both offensive and defensive departments, Mew is capable of being played a variety of different playstyles, adding to its unpredictability.
  • Many other Psychic-types roam the meta, such as Mega Gardevoir, Tapu Lele and Mega Slowbro, however Mew stands out with its diversity, as it can opt to run either offensive or defensive sets, which complement each other's weaknesses and thus greatly improve Mew's potency.
  • If Mew's set is known, it is easy to counter. Mew can only viably run so many moves.
  • Mew loses to most Dark-types, in particular Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Incineroar, and Hoopa-U.
  • While it has good stats, it has no outstanding stats. This means that even with significant investment, it still falls to some common threats such as Aegislash, Volcarona, Z-Conversion Porygon-Z, Mega Slowbro, and Mega Sableye. //figure something out this is a bad point

Moves
========
It also cripples prevents certain stall Pokemon from functioning optimally, such as Jumpluff (Also infestation should win). Some important status moves it blocks include opposing Taunt, set up moves like Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, and recovery moves like Recover, Roost, Leech Seed, and Rest. By removing these options, Kee Berry Mew is able to safely stall out opponents.
Barrier also lets Mew take on physical Fire-types such as Mega Charizard X, as they are immune to Will-O-Wisp. Barrier is commonly run with Seismic Toss, as Mew no longer has a way to damage opponents without Will-O-Wisp.
  • Amnesia boosts Mew's Special Defense, and combined with Soft-Boiled, allows Mew to stall out Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, special Dragonite, and Naganadel.

  • For special attackers such as Mega Charizard Y, Primarina and special Dragonite, use Amnesia to boost your Special Defense.
  • For opponents that can set up, or use other status moves, use Taunt.

- leaving icy wind fini, as its in the tapu fini analysis and just because its low usage doesn't mean its bad.
- changed all mentions of metagross to non sub metagross
- keeping "non-protect" sturdys, generally use a >6% usage to make it to analysis, and crustle and donphan both have around 20%

[OVERVIEW]
Mew has a solid defensive typing in Psychic, and with all around decent nitpick but i would not consider 100 base on every stat just 'decent', which has a negative connotation. Maybe 'pretty good' stats and an incredibly diverse movepool, Mew carves itself a strong standing within the 1v1 metagame. With set up moves in both offensive and defensive departments, Mew is capable of being played a variety of different playstyles, adding to its unpredictability, and setting it apart from Many other Psychic-types roam the meta, such as Mega Gardevoir, Tapu Lele and Mega Slowbro, however Mew stands out with its diversity, as it can opt to run either offensive or defensive sets, which complement each other's weaknesses and thus greatly improve Mew's potency. we can combine both sentences, you basically say the same thing for different reasons. If Mew's set is known, it is easy to counter. wouldn't say that at all, and thats also true for almost everything, once you know what it is. Perhaps you can say that its unpredictability manifest in team preview, where players need to read whether or not the Mew will be offensive or defensive or often risk losing immediately. Mew can only viably run so many moves. no? it has enough to run both offensive, defensive, and gimmick strats like transform. This statement flies directly in the face of what you said with unpredictability, I would either remove this or reword it. Mew's typing leaves it vulnerable to common threats such as most Dark-types, in particular Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Incineroar, Hoopa-U, and Mega Sableye, as well as other Pokemon like Aegislash, Volcarona, Z-Conversion Porygon-Z, and Mega Slowbro. seems like the odd one out, since Mega Slowbro outstalls Mew, not overpowers it based on typing

You should include the number of viable utility options it has: fake out, taunt, transform, nasty plot, a bunch fo recovery moves, barrier, will o wisp, seismic toss, amnesia, which is the reason why it is so versatile

Soft-Boiled allows Mew to recover off any damage, allowing it to stall out opponents like Donphan, Choice Band Garchomp, not reliable. +1 252 Atk Choice Band Garchomp Outrage vs. +1 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 294-346 (72.7 - 85.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 252 Atk Choice Band Garchomp Outrage vs. +1 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 196-232 (48.5 - 57.4%) -- 94.1% chance to 2HKO too much damage to just heal off reliably and if you will o wisp t1 you lose. I would change to like choice scarf Lando-T and non-Taunt Heatran. It also cripples stall Pokemon such as Jumpluff. Some important status moves it blocks include opposing Taunt, set up moves like Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, and recovery moves like Recover, Roost, Leech Seed, and Rest. This section isn't needed, you already mentioned the mons you used taunt on, saying why is more of a usage tip By removing these options, Kee Berry Mew is able to safely stall out opponents. this also belongs in Usage Tips, move it there if its not already there or remove it here Will-O-Wisp cuts the opponent's attack in half what is this useful for?. Barrier allows Mew to boost its Defense up to +6, however Will-O-Wisp deals chip damage as well as reducing crit damage. move this next to Will-O-Wisp, as they all have advantages They are both useful for defeating physically offensive Pokemon like Mega Mawile and Crustle. Barrier also lets Mew take on physical Fire-types such as standard Mega Charizard X , as they are immune to Will-O-Wisp. Barrier is commonly run with Seismic Toss, as Mew no longer has a way to damage opponents without Will-O-Wisp. Amnesia boosts Mew's Special Defense, and combined with Soft-Boiled, allows Mew the potential to stall out Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, unreliable but by adding 'the potential to' the example works special Dragonite, and Naganadel same here, since sludge wave can 2HKO you even after Amnesia. Seismic Toss is an option if Mew isn't required to boost both defenses, and can be used over Amnesia to deal consistent damage. It helps when it is not reliable to win by stalling, such as against Heatran who is immune to Will-O-Wisp, Mew's only other form of damage, and Jumpluff, who can hide behind a Substitute to avoid Will-O-Wisp.

Usage Tips

Generally Stall Mew is quite straightforward to use, as you simply want to nullify the opponent's actions. For physical attackers such as Donphan and non Substitute Mega Metagross, use Will-O-Wisp to cut their Attack in half, or Barrier if you are running it. However, against faster physical opponents, it may be better to Soft-Boiled first, as they will trigger your Kee Berry boost, which will allow you to recover to a HP where you can safely Will-O-Wisp. This is useful in cases such as against Choice Scarf Haxorus and Choice Scarf Archeops. For special attackers such as bulky Mega Charizard Y, Primarina and special Dragonite, use Amnesia to boost your Special Defense. For opponents that can set up, or use other status moves, use Taunt. This is relevant for Pokemon like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and physical Z-move Dragonite for Dragon Dance, Crustle for Shell Smash, Tapu Lele for Taunt or Calm Mind, Zygarde for Coil or Rest, no need to mention them as these moves are standard and not variant strategies and certain Stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Pyukumuku Type: Null would be more relevant, to block their recovery moves and other status options. Against certain opponents, you may want to shut down their offenses before using Taunt. This is useful against opponents such as non-Taunt Mega Gardevoir, where you may want to use Amnesia before locking them down with Taunt. Seismic Toss is used to prevent Mew from being useless if it gets Taunted. This makes it easier against foes such as Fast Taunt Mega Gardevoir, Flame Charge Type: Null, and Tapu Fini you would never not taunt fini tho, it would have no opportunity to taunt. It also reduces the chances that Mew can get crit if Mew is forced to PP stall its foe. Kee Berry Mew's only chance against Mega Charizard X is to have both Barrier and Seismic Toss, along with the defensive EV spread. This combination also helps for matchups like Mega Gyarados and physical Dragonite.

They also takes out important Water-types like non-Earthquake Mega Gyarados and Mega Slowbro, and powerful Normal-types like Meloetta and Normalium Z Porygon-Z. Magnezone is another threat to Mew that Zeraora takes care of. Mew in return checks bulkier Pokemon like Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, and non Substitute Mega Metagross. More importantly, it defeats most Ground-type Pokemon that check Magnezone, like Zygarde, Donphan, and Landorus-T, all of which are immune to Magnezone's Electric-type attacks.

Psychic becomes Mew's Signature Move, Genesis Supernova, when used with Mewnium Z. It is Mew's primary attacking move and allows it to beat Kommo-o and Mega Venusaur right off the bat, and lets it OHKO Zygarde at +2. It also allows Mew to activate Psychic Terrain after using it, allowing following Psychics the damage output to beat Pokemon like Mega Charizard X and Prankster Pokemon like defensive Whimsicott. Fake Out lets Mew get a free hit off on Sturdy Pokemon like Magnezone, Sawk, Carracosta, non-Protect Crustle, and Donphan, which allows Mew to finish them off the following turn without fear of retaliation. Overheat hits the Steel-types that resist Genesis Supernova, such as slow Mega Metagross, Celesteela, and uninvested Magnezone. The 120 HP and Special Defense investment allows Mew to live a Draco Meteor from Choice Specs Naganadel while also preventing Genesect from getting a Special Attack boost from Download. The 52 Defense on top of that allows Mew to live an attack from Choice Band Haxorus, as well as almost always living Mega Pinsir. 152 Speed EVs allow Mew to outspeed Smeargle, as well as bulky Mega Charizard X. The remaining EVs are put into Special Attack to hit as hard as possible, which is crucial for Pokemon such as Mega Charizard X and Magnezone uninvested Dragonite not reliable at all and Calm Kommo-o not true, you could ohko after fake out with 0 spa . Mewnium Z turns Psychic into Genesis Supernova which helps Mew take out foes like Kommo-o and Mega Venusaur with ease. It also sets up Psychic Terrain, boosting Mew's subsequent Psychic-type moves as well as blocking priority moves from opponents. already mentioned in Moves

Usage Tips
========
In most cases, such as against Mega Charizard X, Sturdy Pokemon, Dragonite, Mew simply has to Fake Out for some chip damage, before unleashing a Genesis Supernova to finish off the opponent. Against defensive bulky better phrasing bc ppl run both spdef and def Mega Charizard X, you may need to Psychic again. Be wary that some Charizard are defensive, doesn't really matter since the play is the same and some Sturdy Pokemon run Protect. Against Steel-types like Ferrothorn and fast Magnezone use Overheat after Fake Out. Some Pokemon are bulkier and will not go down after one hit. In this case, set up a Nasty Plot after Fake out, before attacking with a stronger move. This is because Psychic in Psychic Terrain does not do as much as a +2 Genesis Supernova, and because Overheat reduces Mew's Special Attack after each hit. Setting up before attacking is pretty standard for bulky offense. For Pokemon like Zygarde, bulky they're all bulky Substitute Primarina, and slow Tapu Fini, using Nasty Plot into Genesis Supernova should do the job. Against Mega Aggron and Celesteela, it is best to use Nasty Plot into Overheat after Fake Out. The same should be done for bulky Magearna, but it is not always reliable nah you need to CM spam. Mega Mawile is a special case as it uses a priority move in Sucker Punch. As such, Mew should Fake Out, Genesis Supernova to set up Psychic Terrain and prevent Sucker Punch, before using Overheat.

Team Options
========
Pokemon that can cover Mew's Dark-type weakness are great partners. Primarina can take on Fire-types like both Mega Charizard Y, Heatran cm handles that, Incineroar, and Volcarona, on top of Dark-types like Mega Gyarados, Greninja, and Incineroar, while Mew handles Ferrothorn, Celesteela, and slow Tapu Fini. Specially defensive Mega Mawile is good at beating most Dark-types, as well as Porygon-Z, Meloetta, and Mega Gardevoir. Mew can take care of non-bulky + Dragon Dance Mega Charizard X Primarina, Zygarde, Sturdy Pokemon, Mega Aggron, Celesteela, all of which trouble Mega Mawile. Magnezone is also a good partner for Mew as it can cover Pokemon like Greninja, Hoopa-U, Porygon-Z, Meloetta, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Slowbro, while Mew can handle most Fighting-type Pokemon like Sawk, Kommo-o, and Mega Medicham, as well as Pokemon like Mega Venusaur.

Other Options

Mew can run a wide variety of sets, however they usually come at a huge opportunity cost to the ones above. In contrast, they can catch opponents off guard as they cover a completely different set of Pokemon. On the offensive Mew set, other moves can be run, such as Ice Beam for Garchomp, Focus Blast or Aura Sphere for Mega Gyarados and Heatran, Calm Mind for specially offensive threats like Choice Specs Primarina, move this to main since you need it against Magearna, Substitute Primarina, and Heatran or Taunt for stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Whimsicott. Running max Speed with a Timid nature can also allow Mew to outspeed Pokemon like Porygon-Z and Tapu Lele. Normalium Z Tranform Mew with maximum HP and Speed can run a set with Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Tailwind and Thunder Wave to catch opponents off guard. It allows Mew to cripple foes before using Z-Transform to transform into them with full HP. This lets Mew circumvent some of its common checks, in particular Dark-types like Mega Gyarados and Mega Tyranitar.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Specially Defensive Mega Charizard X**: This Pokemon can check both Mew sets as it is immune to Will-O-Wisp, and can tank a hit from offensive Mew in order to 2HKO.

Aegislash and Normalium Z Conversion Porygon-Z are also potent threats to Mew.

add opposing psychic types or offensive threats that can tank offensive hits

add powerful wallbreakers like PZ

add Serperior somewhere tbh

**Taunt-Immune Stall Pokemon**: Although Seismic Toss Mew has ways of breaking through some stall Pokemon such as Jumpluff and Type: Null, Mew has trouble dealing with others like Mega Slowbro, Mega Sableye, and Deoxys-Speed, as they are either immune to Taunt via their ability, or can outspeed and Taunt Mew first, as well as shrug off most of Mew's offensive attacks.

Mew has a solid defensive typing in Psychic, and with all around good stats and an incredibly diverse movepool, Mew carves itself a strong standing within the 1v1 metagame. With viable moves in both offensive and defensive departments like Fake Out, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Soft-Boiled, and Will-O-Wisp, mention the offensive moves as well (Genesis Supernova and Overheat, maybe the coverage stuff mentioned in OO as well) Mew is capable of being played in a variety of different playstyles, adding to its unpredictability and setting it apart from other Psychic-types such as Mega Gardevoir, Tapu Lele, and Mega Slowbro. Mew's typing leaves it vulnerable to common threats such as most Dark-types, in particular Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Incineroar, Hoopa-U, and Mega Sableye, as well as other Pokemon like Aegislash, Volcarona, and Z-Conversion Porygon-Z.

Soft-Boiled allows Mew to recover off any damage, allowing it to stall out opponents like Donphan, Magearna, and non-Taunt Heatran. Taunt prevents slower opponents like Primarina, Tapu Lele, Crustle, Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, Jumpluff, and Zygarde remove like 3 of these, its a lot from using status moves. Will-O-Wisp and Barrier both help Mew take on physical attackers like Mega Mawile and Crustle. Will-O-Wisp cuts foes' Attack in half, as well as dealing chip damage and reducing critical hit damage, while Barrier allows Mew to boost its Defense up to +6 and also works against opposing Fire-type Pokemon, as they are immune to Will-O-Wisp. Barrier is commonly run with Seismic Toss, as Mew no longer has a way to damage opponents without Will-O-Wisp. Amnesia boosts Mew's Special Defense, and combined with Soft-Boiled, gives Mew the potential to stall out Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, special Dragonite, and Naganadel. Seismic Toss is an option if Mew isn't required to boost both defenses, and can be used over Amnesia to deal consistent damage. It helps when it is not reliable to win by stalling, such as against Heatran who is immune to Will-O-Wisp, Mew's only other form of damage, and Jumpluff, who can hide behind a Substitute to avoid Will-O-Wisp. move this after Taunt

212 HP and 44 Special Defense EVs give Mew the best chance of surviving both physical and special attacks, in particular Bug Buzz from Choice Specs Genesect and 2 Sludge Waves from Choice Specs Naganadel after using Amnesia. Max Speed with a Timid nature is used to allow Mew to outspeed slower opponents to give Mew the chance to react to anything the opponent can do, such as Taunt opposing Taunt users, use Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers, or use Amnesia to boost its Special Defense. It allows it to speedtie with opposing base 100s, such as Mega Gardevoir and Mega Charizard X and Y, which is essential in order to potentially Taunt them or set up before they set up or attack. Kee Berry allows Mew to immediately get a +1 Defense boost when hit by a physical attack. This gives it a better chance against physical attackers like Haxorus and Mega Metagross, as Mew can safely Soft-Boiled off the first hit, gain the +1 Defense boost, and rest easy for subsequent attacks. An alternate spread of 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 Spe Timid with Seismic Toss and Barrier can also be run to better take on physical attackers, specifically letting you beat Mega Charizard X without having to worry about Jolly Dragon Dance variants.

Usage Tips
========
This is relevant for Pokemon like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and Dragon Dance Dragonite, Crustle, Tapu Lele, Zygarde, and certain Stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Pyukumuku, to block their recovery moves and other status options. This makes it easier against foes such as fast Taunt Mega Gardevoir, Flame Charge Type: Null, and Tapu Fini. It also reduces the chances that Mew can get crit if Mew is forced to PP stall its foe. Kee Berry Mew's only chance against Mega Charizard X is to have both Barrier and Seismic Toss, along with a physically defensive EV spread. so this is not entirely true, the physdef spread is only needed for the max speed variants. otherwise as long as u get Taunt off first u should be fine. Maybe change the wording to 'with the physically defensive EV spread aiding against every Charizard X variant. This combination also helps for matchups like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and physical Dragonite.

This is fine. Only reason I asked for examples to be removed is because, while examples are important, we don't want to list every single Pokemon that applies to a point, and spreading out mentions of the Pokemon affected by Mew's strats will avoid repetition. People also get the point of what kinds of Pokemon are affected after 2-4 mons being listed.

In most cases, such as against Mega Charizard X and Sturdy Pokemon, Mew simply has to use Fake Out for some chip damage, (RC) before unleashing a Genesis Supernova to finish off the opponent foe. Against bulky Mega Charizard X, you may need to use Psychic again. Be wary that some Sturdy Pokemon such as Donphan and Crustle run Protect, so it may be better to use your Z-Move first. Against Steel-types like Ferrothorn and fast Magnezone, (AC) use Overheat after Fake Out. For bulkier Pokemon like Zygarde, non-Substitute Primarina, and slow Tapu Fini, Mega Aggron, and Celesteela, use Fake Out and then Nasty Plot or Calm Mind, (RC) before attacking with Genesis Supernova or Overheat. Against Substitute Primarina and Magearna, you will need to use Calm Mind. For Magearna, simply keep using Calm Mind alongside them, before finishing them it off with two Overheats. Mega Mawile is a special case, (AC) as it uses a priority move in Sucker Punch. As such, Mew should use Fake Out, (RC) followed by Genesis Supernova to set up Psychic Terrain and prevent Sucker Punch, before using Overheat.

Team Options
========
Pokemon that can cover Mew's Dark-type weakness are great partners. Primarina can take on Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona, on top of Dark-types like Mega Gyarados, Greninja, and Incineroar, while Mew handles Ferrothorn, Celesteela, and slow Tapu Fini. Magnezone is also a good partner for Mew, (AC) as it can cover Pokemon like Greninja, Porygon-Z, Meloetta, and Mega Gardevoir, while Mew can handle most Fighting-type Pokemon like Sawk, Kommo-o, and Mega Medicham, as well as Pokemon like Mega Venusaur.

Mew can run a wide variety of sets, however, (AC) they usually come at a huge opportunity cost to the ones above. In contrast, they can catch opponents off guard, (AC) as they cover a completely different set of Pokemon. On the offensive Mew set, other moves can be run, such as Ice Beam for Garchomp, Focus Blast or Aura Sphere for Mega Gyarados and Heatran, or Taunt for stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Whimsicott. Running maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature can also allow Mew to outspeed Pokemon like Porygon-Z and Tapu Lele. Normalium Z Tranform Transform Mew with maximum HP and Speed investment can run a set with Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, (AC) and Thunder Wave to catch opponents off guard. It allows Mew to cripple foes before using Z-Transform to transform into them with full HP. This lets Mew circumvent some of its common checks, in particular, (AC) Dark-types like Mega Gyarados and Mega Tyranitar.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Super Effective STAB Attackers**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados, Hoopa-U, Incineroar, and Greninja, (RC) generally have an easy time against most Mew sets, as they are immune to its Psychic-type attacks. Bug-type Pokemon such as Volcarona and Pheromosa are both good Mew checks. Aegislash and Normalium Z Conversion Porygon-Z are also potent threats to Mew.

**Opposing Psychic-type Pokemon**: Psychic-type Pokemon naturally resists Mew's STAB moves, making it hard for Mew to leave a dent in them. Meloetta can set up with Z-Celebrate and break through defensive Mew with Laser Focus, (RC) while easily taking any hit from the offensive set. Victini is immune to Will-O-Wisp and can trick Kee Berry from defensive Mew, (RC) and also resists Mew's its main offensive moves in Psychic and Overheat.

**Taunt-Immune Stall Pokemon**: Although Seismic Toss Mew has ways of breaking through some stall Pokemon such as Jumpluff and Type: Null, Mew has trouble dealing with others like Mega Slowbro, Mega Sableye, and Deoxys-Speed, as they are either immune to Taunt via their ability, (RC) or can outspeed and Taunt Mew first, as well as shrug off most of Mew's offensive attacks.

**Serperior**: A rising anti-metagame threat in Serperior poses a significant threat to Mew, as it is faster than the stall set, (RC) and can outstall Mew with Leech Seed, (RC) while also being able to take down offensive Mew by tanking any hit and retaliating with Leaf Storms.

[OVERVIEW]
Mew has With a solid defensive typing in Psychic, and with all-around good stats, (AC) and an incredibly diverse movepool, Mew carves itself a strong standing within the 1v1 metagame. However, Mew's typing leaves it vulnerable to common threats such as most Dark-types, in particular,—Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Incineroar, Hoopa-U, and Mega Sableye in particular—as well as other Pokemon like Aegislash, Volcarona, and Z-Conversion Porygon-Z.

Moves

Soft-Boiled allows Mew to recover off any damage, allowing it to oustall outstall foes like Donphan, Magearna, and non-Taunt Heatran. Taunt prevents slower Pokemon like Primarina, Tapu Lele, Crustle, Mega Venusaur, Mega Altaria, and Zygarde from using status moves. (such as? rn it's still more dex info than in-battle use) Will-O-Wisp and Barrier both help Mew take on physical attackers like Mega Mawile and Crustle. Will-O-Wisp cuts the foe's Attack in half, as well as dealing chip damage and reducing critical hit damage, while Barrier allows Mew to boost its Defense up to +6 and also works against opposing Fire-type Pokemon, as they are immune to Will-O-Wisp. Seismic Toss can be used over any move besides Soft-Boiled if more consistent damage is needed (RC) and Mew isn't required to boost both defenses. It The move helps when it stalling is not a reliable way to win by stalling, such as against Heatran, which is immune to Will-O-Wisp, and Jumpluff, which can hide behind a Substitute to avoid Will-O-Wisp.

212 HP and 44 Special Defense EVs give Mew the best chance of surviving both physical and special attacks, in particular, specifically Bug Buzz from Choice Specs Genesect and two Sludge Waves from Choice Specs Naganadel after using Amnesia. (any physical attacks?) Maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature is used to allow Mew to outspeed slower foes to give it the chance to react to anything the opponent can do, such as to use Taunt against opposing Taunt users, Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers, or Amnesia to boost its Special Defense.

Usage Tips
========
Generally, Stall Mew is quite straightforward to use, as you simply want to nullify the opponent's actions. For physical attackers such as Donphan and non-Substitute Mega Metagross, use Will-O-Wisp to cut their Attack in half, or use Barrier if you are running it. However, against faster physical foes, it may be better to use Soft-Boiled first, as they will trigger Mew's Kee Berry boost, which will allow it to recover its HP to where you it can safely use Will-O-Wisp. This is useful in cases such as against Choice Scarf Haxorus and Choice Scarf Archeops. For Against special attackers such as bulky Mega Charizard Y, Primarina, and special Dragonite, use Amnesia to boost Mew's Special Defense, (comma) For and against foes that can set up or use other status moves, use Taunt. This is relevant for Pokemon like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados, Dragon Dance Dragonite, Crustle, Tapu Lele, Zygarde, and certain stall Pokemon like Jumpluff and Pyukumuku, to block their recovery moves and other status options. Against certain foes, you may want to shut down their offenses before using Taunt, (comma) This is useful against Pokemon such as non-Taunt Mega Gardevoir, where you may want to use Amnesia before locking them it down with Taunt. Seismic Toss is used to prevent Mew from being useless if it gets Taunted. This makes it easier against foes such as fast Taunt Mega Gardevoir, Flame Charge Type: Null, and Tapu Fini. It also reduces the chances that Mew can get hit by a critical hit, compared to which is likely to happen (less confusing wording) if it is forced to PP stall its foe. Kee Berry Mew's only chance against Jolly Mega Charizard X is to have both Barrier and Seismic Toss, along with a physically defensive EV spread. This combination also helps for matchups like non-Crunch Mega Gyarados and physical Dragonite.

Team Options
========
Kee Berry Mew has many viable potential partners. In particular, Pokemon like Tapu Fini and Primarina are good checks for Mega Charizard X if you are not running both Barrier and Seismic Toss, as well as dealing and they also deal with Pokemon like Crunch Mega Gyarados, Greninja, Volcarona, and Pheromosa.

Moves

Psychic becomes Mew's signature move, Genesis Supernova, when used with Mewnium Z. It is Mew's primary attacking move, (AC) and allows allowing it to beat Kommo-o and Mega Venusaur right off the bat (RC) and lets it OHKO Zygarde at +2. It also sets up Psychic Terrain, boosting Mew's subsequent Psychic-type moves, as well as blocking priority moves from opposing Pokemon. This allows Mew to beat Pokemon like Mega Charizard X and Prankster Pokemon like Whimsicott. Fake Out lets Mew get a free hit off on freely break Sturdy on Pokemon like fast Magnezone, Sawk, Carracosta, non-Protect Crustle, and Donphan, which allows Mew to finish them off the following turn without fear of retaliation. Overheat hits the Steel-types that resist Genesis Supernova, such as Celesteela and uninvested Magnezone. Nasty Plot increases Mew's Special Attack so it can beat passive foes like Type: Null and Porygon2. Calm Mind is another option over Nasty Plot that can help Mew tank take on specially offensive threats like Primarina, Heatran, and Magearna better.

Set Details

The 120 HP EVs allow Mew to survive a Draco Meteor from Choice Specs Naganadel. The 52 Defense EVs on top of that allow Mew to take an attack (Outrage?) from Choice Band Haxorus as well as almost always survive a Giga Impact from Mega Pinsir. 152 Speed EVs allow Mew to outspeed Smeargle and bulky Mega Charizard X. The remaining EVs are put into Special Attack to hit as hard as possible, which is crucial for taking on Pokemon such as Mega Charizard X and Magnezone. Mewnium Z turns Psychic into Genesis Supernova.

hey The Dutch Plumberjack, thanks for the gp check! just have a weird feeling about this sentence:
Against certain foes, you may want to shut down their offenses before using Taunt, such as non-Taunt Mega Gardevoir, where Mew may want to use Amnesia before locking it down with Taunt.
Feels a little clunky.

Zygarde from using status moves. (such as? rn it's still more dex info than in-battle use
I'll get back to you on this, as I originally did have a list of the status moves they used, however it was removed through the qc process.
