I honestly would much rather have a Female Eevee, since it would make it significantly easier for me to breed another for having both a Sylveon and a Vaporeon

I actually don't think icicle spear swinub is possible atm. ;; None of the Pokemon that get icicle spear by level up are in the same egg group as swinub. It was only possible last gen because dream world seel had it.

Pardon me for interrupting, but this is not true at all. Smeargle allows Swinub to learn Icicle Spear as an egg move. It can also be chained from Shellder -> Corsola -> Seel -> Swinub.
 
would you do modest 31/x/31/31/31/31 cleffa or adamant 31/31/31x/31/31 drillbur for gastly, abra or marril?

After putting myself through 7 levels of hell, I got a Thick Fat Male Swinub, Adamant, with Icicle Spear, Icicle Crash, and Stealth Rock. In a Dive Ball. 31/31/31/x/31/31. Is this okay for one of the Marril?
