[Ancien Régime]

This is a battle that happened on July 17, 2008, between me, and EeveeTrainer (wiiville). I was using one of my best teams, while Ian Garvey had assembled one of his legendary "Ash" teams (btw ash would be pretty awesome if he ever evolved his pokemon)

Expecting some sort of Subseed strategy, I decide to Taunt; it would at least make my next move easier, knowing he would be forced to attack.

This is a point where I played too conservatively possibly in response to the team he used. Outrage would have been a far better move; while I would have been locked in, I would have done more damage to his team overall.

The thing that really killed me was the fact that Leech Seed extracts no damage if there is no Pokemon on the field to gain the drained HP. So after Sceptile and Pikachu died, Lucario didn't lose 12.5% of its health. If it had, I could have easily won by Leech Seed and Life Orb residual damage.

Agreeing with this. I read the first few lines of the chat log and then skipped down to the bottom. It was pretty much repeating the same thing over and over. The chat log really didn't add anything to the warstory, and in parts, got in the way of it.

Heh, this was a good warstory with the chat log and tension and such. You and ET are very good battlers, so kudos to you both. I really wish you had some more of your own commentary though, since for the first half of the battle, most of it was just you saying what happened in the log, and not what you were actually thinking. Just for reference in the future, put more of your own commentary in for later warstories. But this was very good with the chatlog, and it was an exceptional battle.
