Welcome to Minior Circuit I: CAP Random Battles! To CAP off (ha, get it?) the inaugural Minior Circuit, duke it out in a [Gen 9] Random Battle Single Elimination best-of-3 series (best-of-5 in Quarterfinals onward) tournament featuring the custom Pokemon made by Smogon's very own Create-A-Pokemon (CAP) Project! Again, this is the LAST chance to win points for our first ever Minior Circuit, featuring some of the more niche but still popular randomised metas!
The winner of this tournament will receive the Room Prize Winner rank for a month, be inducted into the Randbats Hall of Fame, and be awarded points for the Minior Circuit (standings spreadsheet pending), with the winner of the Playoff Round for the circuit earning their choice of a PS! username colour change or username reset, and Room Prize Winner rank for a year!
How does this tour work?
1. Contact your opponent on their Smogon Wall and decide on a time to battle.
2. Challenge your opponent to [Gen 9] CAP Random Battles. This requires a special challenge code:
3. The first player to 2 wins (3 for Quarterfinals onward) advances to the next round.
How does the “CAP Random Battle” format work?
This format is regular old [Gen 9] Random Battles, but includes the exciting custom-made Pokemon developed by Smogon's very own Create-a-Pokemon Project! You can view a list of all CAP Pokemon here
Please note:
1. All scheduling attempts MUST be done publicly on Smogon Walls. No other proof of communication will count for act calls regarding scheduling attempts.
2. If you participate in any of the future tours in the Circuit after changing your Smogon name, LET US KNOW in your future signup post.
3. You MUST post replays of your wins. Any battles without replays will need to be replayed.
We strongly recommend familiarising yourself with the smogon tournament rules and general guidelines, if you haven’t already.
