Minior Circuit I Playoffs​

Welcome, one and all, to the Minior Circuit Playoffs! After a circuit of seven thrilling tournaments, the competition has narrowed down to 16 17 16 players, each with their own skills and specialities. They’ve all made it this far—but who will emerge victorious?

Prizes
The winner of the Minior Circuit will receive a Custom Username Colour, a month-long Room Prize Winner rank, and be inducted into the Randbats Hall of Fame.

How does the tour work?
Just like any other tournament in our circuit, players will arrange for a time to play. In addition, they will Select which formats to play in the following order:
1. The player with the lower seed locks a format
2. higher seed locks a different format, then bans a format that was not locked
3. lower seed bans a different format that has not been locked.
4. higher seed picks one of the 5 remaining formats to play (2 locked + 3 untouched)
5-8. loser of previous game picks the next format to play
note: "higher seed" refers to the player with a better record, eg if seed 1 faces seed 4, 1 is the higher seed
Players may pick from any of the 7 tournaments from the Circuit, which are, listed in alphabetical order:

Baby Random Battles
Battle Factory
Battle Stadium Singles Factory
Pick-Your-Team Shared Power Random Battles
Super Staff Bros: Ultimate

Pulse fucks up 2: electric boogaloo

The format selection rules in the original post were incorrect and based on last years events. The correct rules for playoffs are as follows:
1. The player with the lower seed locks a format
2. higher seed locks a different format, then bans a format that was not locked

you know what? Its been a day.

It has been brought to my attention that due to a bug in my spreadsheet, only the first 200 usernames alphabetically were being listed on my standings spreadsheet.
As a result, Zoyotte was unfairly given zero points all circuit, despite getting more than enough to reach playoffs.

This means that the (I swear it better be) final standings look like this:

No Tiebreakers, games can start whenever players are ready, rules are in the OP.

I'd like to greatly apologise for the string of mistakes I've made in a rushed attempt to get this thread started. Top 16 will have easy extensions just in case I (inevitably) have forgotten something else...
I also especially want to apologise to Click & Slikkles, who have had their 16th place tiebreaker yanked out from under them due to a technicality.
If you two decide to play your set anyway, please post the replay in here, and I'll hand over a day of rpw as a consolation prize.

For the rest of you: good luck, and keep your eyes out for when I inevitably change the rules on you yet again

Michielleus vs Nav1gator_ - Michi has been on another level the past year with respect to rands, and its no surprised to me that they ended up as the first seed here. Nav1gator has had a good year in both circuits from my memory, but its hard to bold against the (imo) current #1 rands player. 80-20

JustOut459 vs someone random - Same with above, JustOut has had a fantastic year and has done quiet well in the minior opens they have played in. Expecting the same level of performance here. 75-25

betathunder vs HaunterBoy28 - game at <t:1763506800:R>

Shynii21 vs SEROO - gonna be honest these are two newer players to me with respect to rands. Slight edge to Shynii since I have played them before and they played quite well, but good go either way.

R1C3M4N vs Zoyotte - Another tossup to me, gonna give riceman the edge here since I think they ladder these formats quite frequenty and are likely a bit more experienced in the niche aspects of strategy, but I wouldn't count out Zoyotte. 55-45

MultiAmmiratore vs Inazuma-Fulgur - Chiori is consistently a top tier rands player, and I think the HC experience will translate well into these wackier formats. 70-30

jyusaan vs 35Q71N - Hate to bold against fran </3 but jyusaan has shown a high level of consistency in the few opens we've faced. Id say 55-45 in their favor

soTsoT vs MichaelderBeste2 - despite taking break (which tbh i assumed indefinite) from rands, Michael managed to qual with strong performances in Baby/BC. This year has (imo) solidified Michael as being one of the best mons players on the site, and with all the individual accomplishments in tiers along with concurrently reaching #1 on all rands ladders its hard to not bold them here. If the motivation is there, I can see him making a deep run and potentially going all the way. That being said, soTsoT is no slouch and I expect them to put up a good fight here. IMO this is the highlight match for me this round, so I'm excited to see what happens. 65-35

MultiAmmiratore (6) vs Inazuma-Fulgur (11) I played inazumafulgur in ssba quarters (untier) played on a laggy Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime from 2014, LOST AND GOT MY SET RECORDED ON YT?! I think I couldve won so will do some hatewatch here, rooting for chiori :mad: (Honestly i've seen play sm obscure tiers so ye edge to thzm)

Is there any dubs in this circuit ? Idt so, well even if there was mdb is still relatively good, I expect him to win OR complain about those random aaaah metas and lose the set due to pure frustration, we will see?
