How does the tour work?
Just like any other tournament in our circuit, players will arrange for a time to play. In addition, they will Select which formats to play in the following order:
Terminology:
Lock in - Selecting a format to be one of the 5 played. A locked in format cannot be banned
Ban - removing a format from the pool of 7. A banned format cannot be picked.
Pick - choosing a format to play for one game.
Higher/Lower seed - the player with the higher/lower ranking in the bracket. eg 1st is a higher seed than 2nd
Process:
1. The player with the lower seed locks in a format.
2. higher seed locks in a different format, then bans a format that was not locked.
3. lower seed bans a different format that has not been locked.
4. The remaining 3 formats are automatically locked in
5. higher seed picks the first game, out of the 5 locked in formats
6-9. loser of previous game picks the next format to play
(Also, nice)
