That game was so!!! gayy!!! it wasn't even funny. Yankees bullpen "Hughes" Couldn't throw a strike in 3 pitches! when he most nedeed it, he gets no props for that.

But fucket, its better winning it in the Bronx.

I was pretty mad when they couldn't hold that lead after working so hard to get it. Oh well, finishing in Yankee Stadium'll be better anyways.

I honestly think that A.J. Burnett needs to go. He needs to find another team, possibly a trade like this: A.J. Burnett for Carl Pavano... (Twins) Anyways, we need a better pitcher for this 4 man rotation. Or atleast get Chin Ming Wang to pitch better.

A. J. Burnett is too wild. He walked 97 batters this year. As he ages, he'll get worse. You can say that he had a good ERA, but if we keep him there probably will a day in which he allows 4 runs and 1 hit. Chin Ming Wang- I have no idea what happened. I wonder if he and Sabathia were fighting to be the ace of the club and as a result, failed. I would say that if Chin Ming Wang was at his usual level of performance, this would be one of the greatest Yankee teams of all time.

Nice, hope they win tonight. That way, they'll get quite a lot of sleep for the WS on Wednesday I believe.

How much were the tickets?

It's been pouring for like hours on end straight. Like the sky opened up and a diety above is crying it's heart out. When will this madness stop!

As much as I hate the evil Yankees, their lineup is ridiculous; without question, it is the best offensive lineup in baseball. I fully expect, to my sadness, for the Yankees to dispose of the Angels then take care of the Phillies.

I would hate to have the Phillies win another world series, and as a dedicated Cardinals fan, I hate the Yankees. So I don't care who wins, though I am leaning Philles because of Ryan Howard (Hometown boi). Just as a note. Cards should've gone to the WS, we had such a freat team, but Tony dumbass La'Russa couldn't manage a Tee-Ball team....

You think home field advantage in baseball matters more than in the other 2 and a half major sports. (Hockey counts as half).

When you say shit this stupid, then you invite the other person in an argument not to care at all about a single thing you say.

Jumpman, multi-million dollar athletes paid to do simple tasks should not need the psychological edge of home field advantage to win games when the pressure is on. The incentive of winning in the postseason should be more than enough! Obviously this does not negate fair or unfair (lol deciding home field advantage by the all-star game what a fucking farce), but it does mean that players losing because of it are only doing so because of their own weakness (although yeah the other team possibly gets to avoid such a weakness then). In the big picture, the fault lies with the team more than where they play, disadvantaged or not.

In case you forgot my stance, I am in the group of people who thinks divisions should not matter come playoff time, so for baseball I just want it 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5. Maybe divisions could still matter for tiebreaker purposes (like Red Sox and Dodgers both at 95 wins, so Dodgers get the worse team left to play instead of Red Sox), but beyond that they should not matter come playoffs.

Don't care for the Phillies, but they are not a wretched hive of scum and villainy and pure evil, so rooting for them.

So being the most successful team and making the most money because of it is evil? Surely you must cheer at hobos as you drive by them on the street.

That made my day. Lol =D

Anyways, looking at a Yankees in 5 possibly 6 with a no hitter by CC Sabathia. But, just a prediction, looking for an intense World Series.

I honestly could care less who plays the Phillies, my hatred for the National League is extended beyond my hatred of the Red Sox, yes I sort of like the Red Sox a little (But only a little >.>). But, come World Series time, I am willing to root for the Pirates to defeat a team like the Phillies or the Dodgers.

"My brother and I were talking about this point. Maybe A-Rod's resurgence has a lot to do with the fact that he missed the first month of the year. Perhapse his body is unnaware that it is October and that is why he's not choking."

lol
