I tend to find that Scavenger is a bit more important than Marathon, and that Lightweight works as a good replacement. Scavenger is better because it allows you to quickly restock on knives so that you don't have to waste time looking for one you miss.

Stun grenades are also obligatory.
 
with the riot shield it's very easy to catch them off guard and rush them, knocking them into a corner or something, then finishing them, I got riot shield vet III using

Blast shield - in my experience it let's you survive an semtex stuck to shield
Smoke grenades - lets you advance, flank and retreat more easily, coupled with the riot shields defenses it makes you really hard to kill

marathon - aggro shield means you need to me very mobile, always moving
light weight - same reason as above, plus riot shields are heavy as hell
commando - obviously, let's you get that unsuspected jump at them

secondary - shotgun of choice, I'm fond of the spas because of it's range and power

since you can easily back away from a disadvantageous long range fight, the shot gun brings some middle game into the class, letting you back behind cover, switch and suddenly pop out firing buckshot into someones head.


On another note, unlocked the TMP this thing is rad once you get the extended mags for it, I use it with my m21 scavenger class and pretty much just play entire games with only my TMP
 
I got this game on November 21st or something, aswell as my MW2 edition XBOX 360.

I have enjoyed this game and have noticed that Scar-H is a pretty good weapon on the lower levels, I'm level 26 and still use it as it has deemed better than any of the other guns I have used.
I run:

Primary: Scar-H(ACOG scope + Grenade launcher)
Secondary: PP2000(Red dot sight)
Equipment: Semtex
Special grenade: Flash Grenade
Perks:
Bling Pro
Hardline
Scrambler
Killstreak rewards:
Care Package
Predator Missile
Precision Airstrike

I usually get about 5 kills per death against my brothers so I use hardline so I can use the precision airstrike, care package is nice as the AC130 every now and then is nice.

Scrambler really annoys my brothers so I use it, gets me a few knife kills every now and then.

I haven't played against anybody else though as I do not have XBOX live just yet =(.
 
Models need patching fucking asap, that shit is so retarded lol like how the hell can you basically snipe with a shotgun?
 
All shotguns need patching, range is fucking ridiculous.

Although I am loving the fact of no Javelin Glitching anymore, same as Care Package and Afghan Rock.
 
Any body had that ground war glitch? It puts you in a private match lobby, you can set the score to infinity and you still get points. Happened to me earlier today. I didn't no what was going on, then I realized it wanted me to launch the game. My friend said you can boot everyone from the game and invite your friends.... hello 1000 killstreak.
 
yeah, it's really dumb, I've had games of domination on rust with 18 people that go on forever, pretty much it only ended when their team got a nuke

I hate that crap. Akimbo Models is just ridiculous. I hate turning a corner and going to shoot some guy only to get hit by his Model from some crazy range.
 
Primary: M16A2 w/ ACOG
Secondary: M9 w/ Tactical Knife
Perks: Sleight of Hand Pro, Hardline Pro, Command Pro
Killstreak Rewards: UAV, Harrier Strike, AC gunship

With the burst fire M16A2, I don't have to worry about ammo, and I like to reload a lot, so I have sleight of hand. Hardline is for UAV spam and getting to harrier faster and hopefully getting the AC gunship. I like to use knife a lot, therefore, the tactical knife, but there have been times where I have been shot before I knifed, so M9(not a bad handgun), Command Pro helps.
 
I just got done playing on a glitched server. Everybody had infinite ammo and didn't have to reload. People were spamming Grenade Launchers like crazyyyyyyyyy. It was so much fun.
 
I've given up on MW2 atm. The glitches, and the servers and the akimbo shotguns... I'm taking some time off until MW2 can at least fix the majority of the problems. So back to H3 I go.

I saw a video of a guy who was playing that and he got an ac130, then proceeded to use the 105 non stop for the next 45 seconds. He won the game single handily thanks to the infinite ammo.(rust no where to hide)
 
Infinity ward really need to get their act together, the state of the game is in at the moment is laughable. Every match i go into is ground war. Id also like to say that if you get a challenge and turn off your xbox it is not saved. I got the domino challenge but thanks to this i obviously don't have it - seriously pissed off. went 40-13 without chopper gunner today ACR silenced is beast.
 
I have no clue what you guys are talking about. Compared to the Wii which I had before, the 360 is amazing. There are practically no glitches or anything like that going around. My only complaint with the game is how frustrating it can be (it is my first Xbox game).

Just unlocked ACR, and I think it may be the best weapon in the game. Great accuracy combined with good rate of fire. Assault Rifles are the best in this game hands down.

I can't stand the absurd amounts of glitches and balance problems in this game...
 
I've been using FAL and AUG HBAR latley, FAL is horrible but AUG is pretty good, I have yet to get to get my ACOG scope for the AUG though.


What guns are recommended for level 32?

EDIT: Got my ACOG, FAL is really good, but I only said it was horrible because I tend to hold the trigger down.

Whatever gun you feel comfortable with. I'm using the M4 and MP5K until I unlock the M16. Prestige is a bitch.
 
I'm not seeing very much LMG love, which is disappointing, I'm using and loving

scavenger pro, danger close pro, commando pro

C4 is ridiculously good on domination, just throw a pack down on one of your flags, run around shooting people up, then when you see the flashing icon for that flag, blow that shit, always a kill, often a double or triple, so rad. RPGs are cheap as hell, but hey, I'm level 70 and prestiging soon, why the hell not. The MG4 is really good, high rate of fire and good accuracy makes it too easy to put the 4-5 shots you need without stopping power into a dude.

another fun combo I'm using is F2000-shotgun+holo sight, RPGs
covers short to long range really well, I don't know why more people aren't using the shotgun attachment, it's awesome.

I started getting sick of my current classes and threw together a new for fun class, and it's something like this

C4 and Flash

Sleight of hand Pro
Light weight Pro
Last Stand

Just threw it together five minutes ago, first match at Afghan, threw my C4 at the entrance to the cave like part of the stage, waited a little used the UAV to make sure I would get someone, and got a double kill. So satisfying.

I agree the Masterkey isn't used enough, it has better range than the 1887s but does less damage so you really need Stopping Power for CQC as the other person will spray you faster than you can get the second shot off.

I currently use this class as my "all purpose" class for maps like Favela, where there is a good mix of long range and close quarters stuff.

The FAL is a 2 shot kill almost anywhere, the Masterkey pretty much one shots at close distance and the RPGs go to town on people camping. The AT4 is an option for its better ability at taking out air support, but has less splash damage when you shoot into rooms and buildings. This class isn't the best at the things it does, but the reason I use it is because it does so much at once. A sniper outclasses it for long range combat, but has to sacrifice room clearance or CQC and SMG users are more mobile but lack distance shooting or room clearance, and an explosives based class may have trouble if they don't kill someone with their explosions. The only class I find comparable to this is an AR with a M203 and some sort of shotgun, but the M203 lacks power for certain situations and has no chance of taking out air support.
