To be fair, knifing is nowhere near as good as it was in MW2. Now it cannot be used as a playstyle.
He camps to get knife kills from opportunity, getting up to 11-3, then he dies and then dgf so he runs around after that and ends 16-11. I don't see how that's any kind of proof that knifing works as a playstyle.
In MW2 you actually ran around with the knife and it still worked, but in that video he demonstrated (and even said himself) that the knife doesn't work well if you run around. His good start was the result of his playstyle, not the knife itself. Now granted he was trying for a 25 kill streak so running around wasn't a good idea, but again that just meant his kills were credited to how he played, not what he was playing with.
So how about them slow motion lobbies?
So I legitimately played this, and... I was disappointed.
No, really disappointed.
I liked a few changes they made. Support Killstreaks allowed me to be a little more reckless than usual, and of course it helps the team a lot. This was a pretty good move on IW's part, for sure. I also like the Perk Streaks too, as they add a little more flavor if you like being a lone wolf or you need extra perks (which, in some gun's cases, you do). Kill Confirmed is a nice new twist to a game mode, and Spec Ops was pretty fun to play as well. Oh yeah, and FMG9 Akimbo is sick shit. Still...
First, before I go on, I completely understand that Overkill exists; however, the biggest thing I have against this game is the guns. Now obviously I don't have to go into 6 paragraphs on how the Type 95 is great, but I can't really find a sweet feel to SMGs anymore, Shotguns are really trashy until later levels (or if you get Striker / 1887), and the LMGs suck so much due to how quickly Assault Rifles can kill at a distance anyway. I don't mind that Quick Scoping is back, I guess, since I haven't been caught dying to it too much and I guess it is a bit more of a CoD thing anyway.
Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but I just can't find much fun in the game anymore. And I understand that others do, and of course it's more than fine for them. Ah well, guess I shall prepare for a good ol' flame shield.

6.5 Is relatively fair, particularly if your going at it from an innovation standpoint...Also, yeah, I know I'm a goddamn troll, but I wouldn't ever give this game a 2/10. I think the lowest I would probably give this game is a 6.5, and even that might be harsh to some people, but that score can always change pending if they decide to change up the maps and guns a bit more than what they are now...
Quoted for Truth....the AA12 has absolutely no range whatsoever and the clip / total ammo is way too low. Seriously, I don't mind that it carries 8 shells, but you only give me 16 fucking shells?
I have a soft spot for Shotguns, too, so maybe next time I ever rent the game or something I'll work for the Striker. It looked like the only shotgun worth using, since the AA12 has absolutely no range whatsoever and the clip / total ammo is way too low. Seriously, I don't mind that it carries 8 shells, but you only give me 16 fucking shells?
