Don't sweat it man, in monotype its kind of easy to go net negative if you are bad with the type matchups and/or luck. The tier is more luck based than a tier like OU, but there is a lot of skill around it...
(Although gen 8 personally to me is very matchup based when compared to the other three gens in this tour)
