All tiering decisions for Monotype Other Metagames will be documented here.
Monotype OM Council Members: At the conclusion of any council vote, please update the relevant post for your tier. Please make sure to include what was changed, the council votes, and a brief explanation of the metagame change/ban. Note, Monothreat will not be posting updates in this thread as they do not really tier the metagames. Each time a new ban/unban happens, please make a new post in this thread as well.

 - Kommo-o easily overwhelmed most team compositions due to the combination of Drain Punch, Belly Drum, and Triage, effectively rendering it impossible to revenge kill, wear down, or wall it. It's only bad matchup were Ghost teams due to the Fighting-type immunity and methods of managing it via Unaware and Dazzling existed, however, the former is difficult to fit on most types and the latter is typically on faster and more frail Pokemon that are easy to wear down by Kommo-o's teammates. Other abilities like Punk Rock and Adaptability would break physically defensive Pokemon attempting to answer Belly Drum sets, potentially turning the tide in most matches due to the unpredictability.

Chi-Yu often used Desolate Land and Sheer Force, typically alongside a Nasty Plot or Choice Specs set to break practically every wall in the metagame with ease. More niche options like Choice Scarf and Flame Charge surprised would-be revenge killers, allowing it to run rampant late-game and Magic Guard allowed for endless pivoting regardless of entry hazards. Specially defensive Water- and Dragon-types did well as switch-ins but were often overwhelmed by Nasty Plot and Ruination.

While Sheer Force sets were considered constricting due to it's ability to use mixed movesets, it's comparably weak to some already legal Ghost-types such as Gengar and Ceruledge and is often easy to revenge kill. Hisuian Zoroark also doesn't have a lot of flexibility and only viably uses Beads of Ruin and the aforementioned Sheer Force as well as the rare Magic Guard.

Cawmodore - Cawmodore is one of the most dangerous Pokemon in CAP because of how devastating it can be as a sweeper when facing unprepared teams. If given the opportunity to set up, it is capable of easily 6-0ing a team that lacks a proper check.

Heat Rock - CAP brings Sun setters to Dark-, Grass- and Fairy-type teams, enabling devastating cores such as Flutter Mane + Jumbao and Roaring Moon + Malaconda. With Sun becoming as abusable as Rain in the CAP Mono metagame, the same item restriction should apply.

Hemogoblin - Hemogoblin is an overbearing threat on both Fire and Fairy teams as it can single-handedly take down entire types without much effort.

Fidgit - Persistent being able to set a 7 turn Trick Room and Fidgit being able to safely switch an ally in with Healing Wish results in an almost unstoppable TR Ground sweep thanks to partners such as Ursaluna and Camerupt.

 - With the addition of Vulpix and Vulpix-Alola, the metagame shifted in a way, where almost all dark types dissapeared, which left Flittle with little to no counterplay in the current meta except some very niche counters. With help from dual screens it could set up way to easily and often is an unstoppable force to deal with.

Tidy Up makes Mincinno an overbearing force as it has minimal counterplay despite priority options like Corphish and Pawniard existing.
