So this is where the issue is I think. You suggested 11:30, he asked for full availability, and you said you had a range of 11-12 so he set the time at 11am where you implied availability.
That being said, my suggestion is if you're going to ask for extension/for Avarice's ACT to be voided, you do it under the basis that you missed his 11am time request since he requested an 11AM game at 7PM the night before. It's silly y'all only started scheduling Friday, but there's no expectation for someone to see a message clarifying set time the night before the game takes place. I think there'd be more of an argument that you were wronged in this way if y'all didn't literally start scheduling on Friday, but still you can showcase no attempts to reschedule/the inconvenience of Avarice's time request.
The problem still, is that from Avarice's act post it looks like he didn't call act till an hour and a half after he thought the game was scheduled at 11am. Especially since he gave the username he was on with, it kinda seems like all of this could've been resolved if you simply reached out and said "ready for game?". Just as a general rule of thumb, don't try and contact them SOLELY through their wall, especially when they're actively online and told you they're online + where to reach them. Reply on wall to show you were there and then reach out to them on Smogtours. Most people don't have notifications for Smogon forums/aren't actively checking their status here. Even though you came on at like 11:38 or so and told them it was better for them to challenge you through smogon, the ball was still in your court to reach on in PS/Smogon since they gave their username, and had been on presumably for 40 mins at that point. Especially since they gave their username and were on, they could even say they waited so long to call act cause they gave benefit of the doubt with scheduling and were waiting for you to message them.
Now, if I'm wrong in assuming that Avarice was on when you got on, and his username he gave you "Cornelia Street" was in fact not online for 15 mins after you got on at 11:38, and you're capable of proving this through time stamps, the pro gamer move here is to
Call Act. You might not be able to get away with an ACT call, but if you give enough of a headache through logic and reason to the tour host then he might make the set a coinflip, or I guess extension though frankly you two made a huge mess of schedule. Your argument/defense would have to include screenshots with time stamps from Saturday showing Cornelia Street/Avarice was in fact not on when you got on, or was actively ignoring you/not responding to messages, and that with a well timed screenshot of your wall showcasing you were far more flexible in schedule can go a long ways.
Either way though, I think you kinda need to showcase through screens that Avarice was ignoring you when you reached out on Smogtours/wasn't on, or hope Showl decides to not rule in Avarice's favor considering the circumstances.
