Hello! Can I get a Water team based around Rotom-Wash as a special attacker sweeper. Bonus points if I can rain dance on the team.
Here is the team as you requested. https://pokepast.es/f2fae0f8f736314b
Its not the greatest but I got it into the low 1500s so thats good enough for me. As a Key special attacking offensive threat Rotom-W isn't even close to being one of Water's better ones but its got a few niches. Notably with the EV Spread it can setup up a sub and start nasty plotting infront of the likes Clodsire and Corviknight with no worries alongside outspeeding the base 70s and some that outspeed them (notably this allows us to get the jump on the likes of Skarmory, Defensive Tentacruel, and fast Primarina). SpA EVs generally get OHKOs or are nearly OHKOing a lot of key defensive threats like Empoleon and Articuno at +2 opening up the rest of our breakers.
Rain Dance could not be delivered on solely for the fact that Rotom-W was already pushing, manual rain would of broken the team.
Outside of that, Pex + Pert provide some more standard defensive qualities, Urshifu-R and Scarf Samurott-H break a lot of special walls allowing Rotom-W to cleanup late game and Greninja provides raw nautral speed + second special breaker for the MUs Rotom-W can't get going in. Shoutout to Cpt.Kraken for giving the other offensive threats the correct item choice.

Only really good replay I have of the team: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9monotype-2366635975 in which Rotom-W is able to succesfull remove Glowking allowing for Greninja to easily cleanup.

I want to request a grass team with my favorite starter and overall grass mon, rillaboom, and for how can we build it...maybe a sun or offensive bulky team could work..but im kinda new on competitive play. But I'm willing to learn it! You can explain how the team works on the same post too. If you like!
I don't think a sun with Rillaboom is that good especially since you're gonna also boost mons such as Roaring Moon that can be difficult to deal with so let's focus on the drumming monkey !
I like Rillaboom for being able to hit hard with a priority and pivoting. Especially since its priority has been nerfed, I am going for a choice band to still have a lot of damages. Knock off is the middle ground allowing to drop Rock Helmet and other stuffs as Rilla attracts Skarmory so you'll be able to pivot after. High horse power is an option for Archaludon and stuffs but making Rilla useless in some MUs like steel and flying.
Then Meowscarada choice scarf is the ultimate speed control for grass. It will also help keep in check flying and dragon, 2 difficult MUs.
With Sinistcha, you're gonna have a bulky mon that can set up and will help with bug and other types by setting up physically and specially by being a mono attacker ghost.
As Dark and Normal types can be an issue along with more dangerous Steel types, I am gonna use Breloom. Life orb allows to have direct damages while being able to switch moves. Dual STABs with a priority are mandatory along with ground coverage allowing to hit Gholdengo, Toxapex and other mons resisting. Close Combat allows to eliminate directly some threats such as Archaludon (that Sinistcha can also handle) or Muk-Alola.
Since we have Grassy Terrain, I was thinking to use Ogerpon-C that will be able to get back its Sturdy more easily. It will also help a lot against Flying, a bit against poison, fire and bug. Low Kick for Heatran and Archaludon. Ogerpon-H can be an option since grass choose its MUs in builder and then I would play swords dance, ivy cudgel, power whip (at +2 it 0HKO Toxapex with grassy terrain) and rock tomb for Dragonite and Moltres mainly.
Last mon is Toedscruel allowing to have Spikes + Rapid Spin and a special wall. Thanks to its ability you can also put asleep Gholdengo or Hatterene.

Thank you so much!! It looks really good!! Im gonna try it out in showdown! Also...do I have a limit to what teams I want built?

Requestion a chesnaught team for mono-grass ideally (or fighting), please I don't want to be losing all of the match ups against poison, fire, flying and steel i want a way to answer and find a way to win

Hello! First of all, I wanted to thank you for the ice team I received here... It's been fun to use!
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/rom-gen9monotype-2374274?p2
Now, I'd like to request another team.
I'd like a ground team based on defensive or stall Pokémon, preferably stall rather than bulky offensive, but I'd be fine with both.
I'm not a big fan of using sand ground style, and I haven't seen many stall teams available here, but I have seen options for defensive Pokémon like Ting Lu or Gliscor. However, I'd like to know if it's possible to receive additional help in creating a team. Thank you in advance.

Requesting an fairy team with SD iron valiant! Heavy pref on a hyper offense team.

Hi guys!

TABI notice a lot of people are not taking the paragraph requirement seriously, so I would like to make sure I fulfill all the requests to make your jobs as easy as can be. I heard from a lot of people that grass is the absolute WORST type in monotype, so I would love to use grass! I watched some of pressuresunkern's games and thought it was very impressive how they were high on the ladder despite using a "bad" type.

TABI managed to create this little mess, but don't really like it at all. I like playing with 1 choice itemed mon, usually scarf, and that is fulfilled by meowscarada. I also like to have some kind of good pivoting, preferably a slow bulky mon that I can switch into an attack, and use a pivot move after the opponent moves, providing a clean switch in for the setup sweeper. I have no such mon on my team, which makes pivoting constantly a challenge, especially in monotype when you can never resist your type's weaknesses, like a strong fire move. Torterra is my setup sweeper, brambleghast is my hazard control, and whimsicott is an encore trap and a tailwind setter, so I can have better speed control with torterra and my slower mons. Ogerpon is just ranked really high on the viabitity rankings so I put it on the team, as grass needs all the strong mons it can get. Lastly, brambleghast is hazard control and sinischa I just threw on there because I didn't know where to put it.

https://pokepast.es/8bd89303b6be293f <---- Aforementioned sad attempt at a team

To summarize;
  • I would like a team with a fast hard hitter, probably scarfed Meowscarada,
  • I would like a fun setup sweeper, definitely Torterra, but now that I think about it I don't love the multi hit moves, I would prefer just attacks.
  • I would like a good support mon, to not really do damage but to help the team overall, maybe whimsicott.
  • I would like a bulky slow pivot, ideally with the best matchup against normally supereffective moves
  • I would like ogerpon-hearthflame, because it is the best ogerpon and grass needs what it can get.
  • I would like a second pivot mon, because I don't like playing super HO and focus a lot on switching.
  • I would like the team to be bulky offense, or at least have good switches and pivots to not get OHKOed on switch in frequently
TABThank you so much for bearing with my stupid ideas and bad teambuilding, and for taking the time out of your busy life to help out a newcomer who wants to make the game harder for themselves than it already is.

:)

Just ignore the formatting issues, using the tab key doesn't work so I had to get creative.

Hello I hope you’re all doing well I’m new to competitive Pokemon as a whole and looking for team building advice I want to try an electric or bug team with speed control but I’m not sure who to use or what sets would be good so can I request some help if it’s not possible I understand and thank you for your time

Hello!

Thanks for waiting, here are some of the teams requested.

Please also note, YORLAX and Rukt , that your requests could not be processed as they did not comply with the rules (Crawdaunt and Chesnaught are respectively D-rank and Unranked on the Mono VR). Do not hesitate to ask for other teams, if you like :)

Without any further ado,

requesting a dragon team with sd scale shot garchomp, can go in whichever direction you like
https://pokepast.es/c53e2d8cbba95f81

For your team, I've decided to go with a classic core that proves to be very powerful in the current metagame to surround Garchomp.

- Dragapult: Choice Specs attacker with both STABs, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt to maximize its coverage and provide utility in all sort of matchups.

- Goodra-Hisui: Special Defense tank. Heavy Slam to punish Fairy Pokemons, Dragon Tail as a phazing option, Knock off to remove boots and other detrimental items. With Protect, it can make up for the loss of bulk coming from not running Assault Vest and makes it less prone to chip damage.

- Archaludon: Physical Defense tank. Stealth Rocks and Thunder Wave to cripple the enemy and give Garchomp more in's. Body Press is its primary source of damage, scaling with Stamina boosts, while Flash Cannon allows it to keep Rocks up even against Hatterene and Weezing-Galar. Alternatively, you can use Draco Meteor over Flash Cannon, if you prefer to focus more on the Dragon matchup.

- Roaring Moon: Choice Scarf attacker. You need some speed control, especially for the Dragon mirror, as Garchomp will act more as a Late-Game Sweeper. With its speedtier and its great moves, it helps in beating Ghost and provides an option to deal with Choice Scarf Mixed Iron Valiant. Iron Head is the preferred coverage move, as you have Garchomp for Earthquake, but Earthquake remains perfectly viable too.

- Latios: 2nd Choice Specs Attacker. STABs + BoltBeam to hit most foes hard.

- Garchomp: The Main Character. SD and double STABs is very good in itself, so last slot is there to provide a bit more coverage. I've listed the 3 best coverage moves in the sample, so you can pick the one you prefer. To detail a bit, Stone Edge is most useful to give it a solid matchup against Flying and Fire. Iron Head helps it to not get walled by Weezing-Galar in the Poison MU, but it might be unnecessary, given the number of Steel moves this team run. If you go with it, you may replace Flash Cannon with Draco Meteor on Archaludon. Last option is Fire Fang to give it perfect coverage for the Steel MU. For the item, the preferred choice is Loaded Dice to guarantee minimum 4 hits with Scale Shot. If you feel like you need some self-sustain, you can use Leftovers to that end. Alternatively, this Garchomp can also be used as a Lead with the Focus Sash to guarantee a kill or a boost (speed or attack): Earthquake OHKOes Flutter Mane, Scale Shot does the same with Dragapult.

As requested, here is a stall Ground. Finding appropriate movesets for each Pokémon was quite a challenge, but the result is promising. I laddered with it from 1450 to 1650 with great success.

- Ting-Lu: 1st Special Defense Wall. Thanks to its gigantic special bulk, it can pretty much tank every special move, while dishing out good damage with its 100 BP STABs. Rest ensures it can remain useful throughout the game and Whirlwind can allow to chip down foes when hazards are set up.

- Quagsire: 1st Physical Defense Wall. Quagsire is the unaware wall to prevent physical setup sweepers from wreaking havoc, though it cannot do much against the likes of Ogerpon-formes. Instead of putting all hazards on one Pokémon, I believe it is better to scatter them to avoid putting all your eggs in the same basket, Quagsire thus gets Spikes. Toxic and Earthquake complete the moveset.

- Clodsire: 2nd Special Defense Wall. Toxic Spikes is the hazard of choice for it, with Poison Jab as its STAB and Low Kick to be able to hit Heatran and Hydreigon which could otherwise come too easily. A few ev's in defense to be 3HKO'ed by Ogerpon's Horn Leech and rest in Spdef.

- Iron Treads: Utility Glue of the team. Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin and Knock Off for utility and Iron Head for the STAB move. Ice Spinner is an option over iron Head if you feel it hard to beat opposing Gliscor. I opted for a special defense spread to allow it to come over Flutter Mane, Dragapult, and Latios, in case of need.

- Gliscor: 2nd Defense Wall. Despite that, I chose a mixed spread to let it tank special moves too. Earthquake and Knock Off to deal damage actively and Toxic for passive damage. As you wanted a Stall team, I came with this defensive Gliscor set, but an SD set is also totally doable.

- Landorus: Choice Scarf attacker. It is the refreshing element of the team, preventing it to auto-lose to Ogerpon-formes, and also gives some crucial speed control. U-turn provides momentum and allows to maximize the hazards efficiency by always bringing the right answer to your opponent's Pokémon.

https://pokepast.es/022f3b83ab11ad6a

To accompany SD Valiant, I thought about reusing the common team composition that goes quite well with SD Valiant anf fulfills the HO criterion.

- Flutter Mane: Choice Specs attacker. Its raw power allows it to do sufficient damage to let Valiant finds some sweeping opportunities.

- Iron Valiant: SD Sweeper. Close Combat, Knock Off and Shadow Sneak offer a perfect neutral coverage. Shadow Sneak is crucial to prevent Dragapult from coming freely on Valiant. Ice Punch is another option over Knock Off but synergizes not so well by leaving it much weak to Gholdengo, notably.

- Azumarill: Belly Drum sweeper. With its great offensive power, it can easily eliminate 1-2 Pokémon or weaken them for Iron Valiant to sweep.

- Klefki: Walls and Spikes setter. Klefki is the key (ahem) Pokémon here, setting up the walls that will enable the Sweepers. Foul Play is chosen over Thunder Wave to avoid letting opposing Pokémon setting up freely.

- Hatterene: 1st CM attacker. Nuzzle helps in crippling the opposing team, providing some much needed speed control (and haxx?) to the team indirectly. Investment in speed to outspeed Toxapex and avoid haze.

- Primarina: 2nd CM attacker. Incredibly tanky behind walls, 3-attacks maximizes its offensive potential. Torrent to not be blocked by Clodsire and Okidogi.

That is all for this time!

Have a great day :)

Requesting a mono poison team built around Glimmora. The archetype of the team can be anything as well as the glimmora set.

requesting a water team [preferably rain] with choice band crawdaunt
I know Crawdaunt has a too low viability ranking to be able to be seriously submit here but I've made a rain team with it.
Issue of this mon is Archaludon. You need to play Jolly to be able to outspeed defensive variant and 2HKO with Close Combat choice band.
I have made this team. It's a very generic rain team with Pelipper to setup weather and pivot, Swampert for defensive pivot and hazard setter, Tentacruel for another pivot and hazards management. I've choosed Kingdra here instead of Barraskewda since you already have a choice band mon and you need to be able to hit Dragons effectively. Last mon is Urshifu-RS scarf which gives momentum and is able to keep a bit of speed outside of rain.
https://pokepast.es/546b703f760b3ebb

Unfort, if we played a better mon there instead of Crawdaunt, most of my test games were way simpler tbh.

Hi, here are your Glimmora teams:
Amoonguss variant: https://pokepast.es/fee25a5da50ca37d
Tentacruel variant: https://pokepast.es/b987da2ab12738b3
I'm not the biggest fan of Glimmora overall but this is a team that it can function on. Scarf is being used to provide some speed control, a leg up in the fire MU and general surprise check to a lot of things as during testing, a lot of people where caught off guard by Glimmora being fast and clicking before them (notably, I won a fair few Kleavor V Glim lead MUs solely because they thought they would just get rocks up first and handle my focus sash Glim later).
A few notes about teammates more, unique, options.
:Muk-Alola: Rockslide is being ran as with double Poison STAB on our offensive mons we don't particularly need PJab and this greatly improves our Volcarona MU as Scarf Glim is not a reliable check to Volcarona.
:Pecharunt: I just like Foul Play on parting shot runt in general since it gives it a superior Scizor matchup and with itemless, makes it a strong Ceruledge check. Boots is on the Cruel team as Ceru is less of a problem there.
:Weezing-Galar: 12 speed EVs outspeeds TTar and Hoodra.

Amoonguss V Tentacruel. With Amoonguss we have a reliable switch in to Water-types, espessically SD Urshifu-R and Rain boosted attacks as awhole but it does slow our team down considerably meanwhile Tentacruel isn't a super strong water check into the big attackers but does grant another pivot option along with improving our fire MU overall and increasing the teams pace. Its going to come down to preference but I do think the Amoonguss variant is stronger, but Tentacruel is more enjoyable to goof around with.

Requesting a Water Monotype Team

I am trying to play the Team on a Pixelmon Server as a Gym Leader, so while i am Monotype my enemies might come with hard counter teams.
Hisuian Samurott works differently (worse, as it does not put spikes down and just deals continuos damage like poison over time until a mon switches out). Walking Wake, Palafin, Iron Bundle, Dracovish and Palkia are also not allowed.

I don't mind to test around with it a little bit (currently testing it in Gen9 Natdex) and there is no specific mons i need in it

Already many thanks for reading this and creating a team, if yall are doing it!

Pardon me, I would like to request a mono dark team surrounded around Mandibuzz and Crawdaunt if at all possible with the conditions of being in natdex ou.

I've tried pairing them up with things like choiceband/choicescarf Meowscarada, Spiritomb, Alolan Muk, and Ting-lu, though I find that not only do they struggle against the fighting type, there's a noticeable ice weakness along with a struggle to deal with poison mono teams and even Archaludon. And that's not even factoring in other environments where folks aren't restrained to one type. I've tried things out like having Greninja on the team and it's coverage is great, though I find myself struggling to pick four moves out for it as it always seems to wish to run more, I also struggled and pondered if a mega-houndoom would be benaficial. I probably would prefer a more offensive playstyle with a bit of a defensive backbone, though any suggestions would be appreciated!

I do apologize to bother now, and hope whoever reads this has a splendid day!

Checking out the sample thread (linked above) will give you what you want as Cinderace is on both Fire samples right now.

If going for Natdex OU, I would possibly try to look around there and see if they have resources that could help you. But there is a good chance they won't as OU formats are historically quite hostile to mono teams. Maybe asking around Natdex would lead to better results.
