Most Effective Type Coverage

- Fire beats Ghost/Steel though

but that would be messed up, but cool to make more ghost type combos

So does the almighty quake of doom.

For the 4th generation, physical attackers got the better end of the bargain with nice moves like Close Combat, Brave Bird, Stone Edge, Outrage, Flareblitz and U-turn. Specials only have Draco Meteor and the craptacular Focus Bomb to add to their 100+ BP movepool.

Edit: Flying/Fighting is another cool combo. Think Starraptor. I can think of nothing that resists them.

Unless there's a Steel/Ghost I forgot about, nothing resists Dragon/Fighting. Dragonite with Sub, Focus Punch, Dragon Claw, and Roost could be a good user of this (he's the only non-uber Dragon with Focus Punch).

I still find Bug+Fighting/Ground+Rock to be a damn near broken combo on anything with STAB on 1 or 2 of the moves. Heracross/Rhyperior anyone?

Bug/fighting's resisted by lots of flyers, the only reason it's so dangerous is Heracross has a good attack stat. Ground/rock is a good combo I guess... though the pokes that use it are usually blocked by water types anyways; it's not super-effective against enuf types.

He meant add megahorn to QuakeSlide. This is the sole reason Grass types almost always fall at countering Rhyperior. Breloom is neutral to Grass and takes like 59~69% with Max/Max+ defence. Most of Rhyperior's counters hate the Megahorn or take neutral damage from the STAB moves.

Also, He meant Fight+Rock which is only resisted by Claydol and Dorapion possibly.

^IIRC, Poison doesn't resist Rock, but Rock resists Poison. So Fight+Rock would be neutral against Dorapion.

No it isn't.

Dark/Fighting gets completely walled by any Bug. In fact Heracross and Scyther in particular shit all over that attack pairing, maybe even Vespiqueen too.

At least Ghost is still neutral on Bug.

Dark is also neutral on Bug.

I think I tried every possible type combination and only Fighting/Ghost has no resistances. The only other way to have no resisted attacks would be Bravery Kangaskhan/Miltank with Normal/Fighting moves. Most other combinations have fairly common pokemon with the right resistance.
