Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Hey guys. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the max IVs for HP Electric would be?

I know that it is 31/something/31/30/31/31. I just don't know if the "something" is suppose to be 30 or 31. Thanks.

31. you could look this up yourself in the future, there are plenty of hidden power calculators out there just use google.
 
Ok after quite some time... I was able to finally land my seed and just hit the frame to get the proper nature and gender for my new Gible egg. Now moving on to phase 2... egg IVs aka more silly random timer hitting action. Is RNGing on DP easier or harder than HGSS?

DPPt are a pain in the ass if your RNG breeding, thanks to all the cowgirls/boys in Solaceon screwing around with your starting frame. HGSS is much easier thanks to elm calls and roamers making it easy to verify your seed and keep track/advance frames.

That sucks... The only random shiny I've gotten so far is a Shiny Machoke on my Pearl version. My Shiny Gible was a random breeded Shiny =/
 
It's not impossible to do on DPPt - you can succeed very well in DPPt egg abuse. It's just a bigger pain because you have to calibrate every time you do it, XD.
 
I need some urgent help with a roamer RNG. I'm on the seed and delay. I have two roamers out. So the roamer should be generated on frame 3, but what does that mean for my radio count? Do I stop three away from the target frame?
 
Riski, I highlighted frames in RNG Reporter like normal, advancing and scrolling down, but I started by highlighting frame 3. From there, I would move the radio thing back and forth to and from the bottom right corner 5 times, then hit the down arrow key five times to keep track of the frames. I managed to get it first try; maybe I'm just lucky, but it seemed to work fine.
 
Yes, but I can't do that. Radioseed doesn't work for me so I can only advance by counting. I've accounted two frames for Raikou and Entei roaming. I'm at 100. My target is 114. Where do I stop the radio detuning to get Latios to land on 114?

Edit: I should say, I can still follow the Elm list, but I don't know where to stop. I need to know where to stop the advancement. Two roamers are out, supposedly latias generates on frame 3. Does this mean I stop three away from my target frame?

Another edit: I really don't want to f this up because it took all day to land on the right delay. This RNG has been evil for swinging delays. Pikatimer was useless.
 
My frame was like 66 or something, I think. I didn't stop 3 away from my target frame, I stopped at it. It's just like making Elm calls for a stationary legendary. If it was Mewtwo or Groudon, you would make the Elm call to verify frame 113, then talk to the legendary. Do the same thing in this situation and it should work.
That being said, since it starts on frame 3, you would call (move the radio) 109 times, if I did the math right. I don't know what other help I can give you...
 
Ok, I'm going to stop one frame before and hope like heck it's correct. Maybe the frame three thing is for only because the first two roamers take up the frame space when you get into the game.

There is an NPC moving in the lab. You may be too slow going from the Pokegear to the choosing the pokemon part.

Edit: Fail with the Latias RNG. It's definitely stop three frames away from target if you have 2 roamers out. :-( Oh well. Live and learn.

Are you trying to RNG a roaming Latias? I need to do that with my Latios sometime soon. On the good news, I JUST successfully RNG'd perfect IV Gible. And it only took me 1 day (aka today) to do it so I am pleased with my work. Thanks for all the help guys. Wish I could RNG a Shiny Milotic though.

So i should advance to 132 and then pickup the charmander right? make the 132nd call, and then pick it up? and yeah, i was a bit slow the second time.

:( I'm sorry if I screwed it up for you. I RNGed Latios either yesterday or the day before and it worked perfectly. I don't know what to tell you, I feel kinda bad now, especially if you had an annoying delay thing going on.
 
Shravan: Each of Oak's starters advance a certain amount of frames. Oak's starters for instance, advanced my frame by 4. You have to do a run first to check to see how much they advance it by.

Osostewie: There's breeding and catching in RNG. Wild captures can be done - you should look at the vids for legendary captures to start off - Bearsfan has one on Youtube with him capturing a Suicune ^^ The jist is it's Method K, sweet scenting usually advances the frame by 2, and be sure to check out encounter slots and roaming NPCs if there are any.

When sweet scenting on a bike does it still advance by 2?
