Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

okay i've got a problem now ....
i got the frame with the shiny in it(1:39.90),it came out with the nature and hidden power like the shiny but the regice itself is not shiny
i chose method 1 for legendaries if i'm correct
the battery is not dead
inserted nothing in iv's.
i hit the exact frame with my samsung stopwatch
game:pokemon emerald
and ps:when i checked for sid again and changed an iv since there were 2 choices:2 came out :3280 from method 4 and 26824 (the 1 with the diff iv (colesseum/xd instead in it)
trainer id:37332
sid:i used 3280 for the regice but it came out exactly like the shiny just not shiny :I

I'm having trouble with PPRNG on the 4th generation games. Specifically, I'm trying to RNG a hex flawless Jirachi, non-shiny, from the Wondercard event (I still haven't picked it up). I already have my game config set up, but I can only go as far as to the seed searcher and searching for a flawless spread (which I did and was able to find). What do I do after finding the flawless spread and going to the seed inspector? I know that natures really just come down to luck, I just need to be able to hit a flawless spread.

^Resetting did work on the zapdos, but none of these seems to work in the safari zone.
Does this have anything to do with the frame advancing 2 by 2 there in?

hey guys so i succeeded in rnging regice and some more method 1 pokemon which was awesome
!!(Thank you so much for the help fishman P )!!

but now im trying the method 4 pokemon
been using tropius with sweet scent,no synchronize since its of no use
been resetting for a shiny in route 102,any shiny just to see if it can happen
but whenever i reset i'm always like 20-50 near or faR
I try to check the caught pokemon's ivs
example:i caught a wurmple with bashful nature ,in the spread ,2 frames,
1 is (bashful) with ivs
2 is (careful) with diff ivs,
the bashful wurmple took the nature from the past spread but has the iv's of the careful nature
i've checked about 12 pokemon using the serebii iv calculator with rng reporter
and all are like the wurmple,iv's and also hidden power are of the spread below, but it keep the nature
this makes it very difficult to work out the time needed to hit the shiny frame i have ,since the timing can be a tad different every single time
i'm using a samsng phone to clibrate the timing, but sometime its: like 1:56:45,and in my calculations, that spread ina a few minutes and seconds(2.01.05 shouuld be shiny)
but it ends up being a frame of 2.00.41 or 2.01.93!!
i need help calibrating the best timing
i ask:whats up with the nature/iv's of different frames?
i also ask:does anyone know japanese ?i need to use the pokemon client,i think its 100% more efficient than the phone but i never got to use it :/(i could use eon timer ,i guess, i'll try now)

How about elaborate a bit more? Like at what game are you trying to RNG? HGSS? or DPPt?
4th Gen RNGs uses delays BTW... Try to calibrate if you haven't RNG'd before.
Oops, I forgot to mention I'm using Heart Gold (that was really all I left out, I mentioned everything else).
How do I calibrate? Thanks! :)

trying to rng manipulate magikarp in marvelous bridge... but I'm having problems with what is listed in Rng reporter and what I get;
the seed is: A8D0BB5105234D6A (keypresses start, R)
I have searched for gift pokemon, ivs standard seeds... I want a 0/0/0/0/0/0 magikarp, but I get a 0/0/0/0/0/31... what I am doing wrong?

you advanced 1 iv frame.
Also about gen5 is in the other thread.

OK then, try doing the WC RNG at the mart in either cerulean or fuchsia, because there are no WNPCs to mess it up.
I presume you already know before how to do HGSS RNGs?

Yeah I saved at Cerulean.

I've RNGed before on HGSS on a regular DS and RNGReporter nearly 4 years ago, now I'm RNGing on a 3DS and PPRNG. No guides exist for 4th gen PPRNG unfortunately /: and the 3DS doesn't have a nifty clock with seconds like the original DS.

Uhhh... I've never heard anything about Synchronize not working on wilds in Emerald. It helped a lot when trying to get my breeding Ditto, which might have ended up as Method 4.

Anyway, if results are wonky with Methods 2 and 4, try Methods H-2 and H-4.

okay,
ps:why are they h2 or h4 ?

so i tried h4 method,
i checked for shinies only without synchronise for a careful shiny ,since i''ve been looking to get a shiny ralts to use as a wall in my team, and i got a careful alakazam with synch,
and nothing came up
but when i checked with synchronise careful nature, there were multiple frames in the 2nd minute were the orignal shiny frame is
ps:i tried with alakazam in victory road, but the results, and timing wre too twisted to work
ps:well i might have some bad timing from before thats why synchronise might not work so great:/

And I use RNG Reporter instead of PPRNG BTW...
I can get past the 3DS part (mostly), it's just PPRNG that confuses me. I'd use RNG Reporter but I can't get it to work without crashing all the time on OS c. I also can't even obtain a version 9.96.5 that works properly with Wine.

Hey, update! I'm on a DSi now (a lot more convenient to RNG with in my opinion), and I have access to a windows machine with RNG Reporter. My only problem now is that I'm not hitting any searchable delays. When I search my roamer positions, I get no results.

Basically, every time I enter my roamers routes after resetting my game and using EonTimer, I get "No results" when I enter the current routes of the roamers into Seed to Time. Naturally, this is getting frustrating because I don't even know if I'm hitting odd or even delays yet.

Any way I can fix this? I really think it has to do with the fact that I'm using a DSi, which apparently has more delay than a regular DS...

When you pull up the list of possible seeds hit in the Seed To Time window, did you expand the search to encompass a larger range of possible roamers/ELM calls? Try setting the delays searched to +-200 and the seconds to maybe +-10 before generating, that might work if you're landing on something outside of the default +-10/+-1 range ^^

What a coincidence! I was just reading your emloop guide :p Okay, i'll expand the range. The guide posted said to have delay set to +- 50, and seconds +-2. I cant set the seconds to +- 10 so is +-9 fine? Thanks by the way :)

Wow, is my emloop guide still there? Haha xD; If you haven't already you might want to look into Toast++ 's Eontimer, it works amazingly for RNGing as well. (and it's in English)

Anyways, yup sorry, +-9 seconds is fine - and you can probably try a delay search of +-999 if you think you might be off by a lot. Best of luck!

I'm actually using EonTimer right now! I was just looking through the old guide, I thought emloop might've been easier to use.

I seem to be getting some roamer results now at least, so your advice definitely helped. Thanks a bunch :) I even got an outstanding jirachi, x/x/x/31/31/31, but brave so I tossed it.
