Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

If you download the special spreads on this page, http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part4
you can find this spread.
Naive, 30/14/31/31/31/31, frame of 170!
Seed is c911026f
But when I search this same spread with PokeRNGDP, I get this result.
Search for: NAIVE 30/14/31/31/31/31 HP DRAGON 70
Found 1 result(s)!
PID: 55f91220 (NAIVE, ability 0) 30/14/31/31/31/31 (Seed: 900c025d Method 1: 125196, J (synch): 125175, J (no synch): None, K (synch): 125177, K (no synch): None) HP DRAGON 70
Why? I want the 170 spread! :(

That's because you're searching with a delay that is too low. Anyway, why are you searching again? If you know the seed: c911026f

Just input that into RNG Reporter.

Okay guys I've been trying to RNG catch this sudowoodo for about a week now, every time I go to search the elm results in the Adjacent finder nothing comes up. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?
Also I started trying this using pikatimer, now I'm back to emloop using my original calibrated delay. Still getting nothing in my Elm results!
Anybody?

I just successfully RNG'd Palkia, but have a question still... When going into Seed to Time to figure out the Time, Date, and Delay, those are the requirements in order to hit the Seed correct? So assuming you reset the game correctly, hit your Time and Delay, then your Coin Flips should match up, right? And if just the Delay is incorrect, then the Coin Flips won't match?

For catching with method J does it matter what nature your syncer is?
And, on the downloadable special spreads on the guide for RNG catching, what is the frame for? Synch or none synch? Cause I've been reseting for a while with no luck..

Yes that's what seed to time is for, and nope you have to hit your delay and target time to get the correct coin flips, occasionally though there may be two different delays for a certain target time that produce the same coin flips, but that's rare and the delays are usually far from each other but for the most part if your delay is incorrect but your target time is correct you will get the undesired coin flip results.

I just RNG'ed the Eevee you get from Bill in Goldenrod. Got a Flawless Modest Male one. When I get the TRU Arceus I now know how to RNG those pokemon.

Naive 30/14/31/31/31/31Going for this Tran. Hit my seed,
but got this spread.
Lonely 31/31/31/9/22/31

Yes, exactly what happened unless you were using the wrong method to capture it. It should be Method J.

Obviously missed the frame...
Check what frame you did hit, by matching the IV's searching for that on the clipboard, id do it but you didnt list what your seed was...

How do I do that?
My seed is c911026f

You put in your seed click generate
Click the IV's that your searching for
Enter in your synch nature (if any), and then click generate.
Now did you have a synch? if so what nature? And was it in the first slot of your party?

No syncher.

No syncher.

Yes and yes, Heatran is Method J...
EDIT: You said you didnt use a synch but I could only find your desired spread WITH a synch, it didnt appear without one...
EDIT2: Also what Frame WERE you aming for?

I know.
EDIT: I have Scizor in the front of my party. :P
I was going for a frame of 170. (I'm doing 82 jorunal flips + 128 steps with 5 pokes is that right?)
Lonely 31/31/31/9/22/31
That spread appears on frame 170 with no synch...
However your desired spread (Naive 30/14/31/31/31/31) only appears with a synchronizer... Or atleast thats what I found... (Appears on frames 149, 151, 155, 159, 161, 165, 167, 169, with a Naive Synchronizer)

Crap. I was using the special spread download from the RNG catch guide, and that's the frame it gave me! How do you seacrh spreads with no synch?

Alrighty, time for another of my dumb/lame questions:

Ok, so I'm SRing for a Method J Pokemon, seed 52140289. My average delay is about 623.7 (so quick question one, would I round this up to 624?), seconds to get in is 14, and the delay required for this Pokemon is 639. So I brought up Pika timer and...well, got confused trying it last night (granted, 5am isn't the idea time to try SRing when you've been up all day, but eh).

So anyways:

1. When using Pika timer, I know you put in the calibrated delay, wanted delay, your seconds, etc, but what do I put in for wanted seconds?

2. What do the first timer and second timer represent exactly? I've been setting my DS time to about 2 min before, starting up the timer and entering the game initially when 1 min is left, then SRing when timer 2 goes off. Is this the appropriate way to use it, or am I going about this wrong as well?

Now, if anyone else has a much easier way to hit your wanted delay, please share lol. Otherwise, how do I go about this as I mentioned above?

I'm sorry, but since I'm still getting the hang of this myself, I'll only help with that rounding question. Your average delay should be based on whether it is even or odd. If you look at your delays, they typically are even or odd. They change though, depending on whether there is a GBA cartridge in ur ds or not. An important idea to remember about your delay is its evenness/oddness (excuse the made up words).

EDIT: Btw, what is a good range for your average delays to be in? I'm finding my delays range from about 15 values, should I try to be more consistent? Anyone?
