Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Okay, I've been having this same problem for a while.
When RNGing breeding, I get get shinyness easy, frame easy, I start going for IVs, everything's fine, and then randomly, nothing will come up in adjacent results. Even if I continue (for hours) still nothing comes up. I have re-verified my frame several times. And then sometimes, randomly, it will start showing up again.
What could it be?
Anyone?

You'll need to bring along a Synchronizer, so you can achieve the same spread on different frames, and thus different Pokémon.

Oh, I got nice spreads on my LeafGreen file, not my Emerald one =)

18819686F 7129dc8d (CALM, ability 1) 31/30/30/27/31/30 (Seed: 00000000 Frame: 18819686) HP ELECTRIC 70 !!!

962191997F ebe24643 (IMPISH, ability 1) 30/29/29/20/30/31 (Seed: 00000000 Frame: 962191997) HP GROUND 56 !!!

3109675645F 6be2c643 (ADAMANT, ability 1) 30/29/29/20/30/31 (Seed: 00000000 Frame: 3109675645) HP GROUND 56 !!!

4061510943F edbc401a (CALM, ability 0) 31/10/30/20/31/31 (Seed: 00000000 Frame: 4061510943) HP WATER 59 !!!

Edit: Oh, so it's not possible without a synchronizer. Sad face.

@ Despotar

If you're fairly confident about your ability to hit the same second each time, try widening your delay ranges. It sounds like you're hitting a delay that's not within your search.

Is there some kind of shortcut to do frames like 10000+ to become less than 3000? because i have some descent shiny spreads but they all have frames over 9000!!!

Okay this is my first time trying this in HG/SS but I've done it many times in DPP, though this is also my first time using pikatimer.

I'm not getting any Elm call match that I can use to help even verify if I'm even close to hitting my delay.

Seed: 9b0c16bb
Frame: 14
Date/time: 2010/07/08 12:49:50
Delay: 5809

Should be: Timid 31/23/31/30/31/31 No synch

Here's what I'm entering into pikatimer

Calibrated delay: 480
Wanted delay: 5809
Calibrated seconds: 14
Wanted seconds: 50

This created

First timer: 67.18
Second timer: 102.82
Minutes before: 2

So I set my date to July 8th, 2010. My clock to 12:47 and start pikatimer at the same time. At the end of the first timer I start the game and then hit A until I hit the continue screen. At the end of the 2nd timer I hit A and I'm in the game. I record Elm's responses but I'm not getting any matches.

I've done no 'calibrations' in this game as the front page says that's really outdated and I wanted to try pikatimer. I've button mashed my way through about 30 pokes in DPP.

Does this seem right? Anything I'm doing wrong?

Edit: Okay, now I got a match (somewhat?) I got EEEKKPEPE which matched a (EEK)EEEKPEPE

Does this mean I started on frame 3? Why would that be? I've killed off all roamers (ie. Entei and Raikou) ...Lati@s hasn't been released yet, I don't think. At least it doesn't show up on the Kanto map...

I added 99-99, and still no results. (I then tried 99-99 and 10-10 seconds, to no avail) something is screwed. I tried abusing a wondercard, and no match's came up for the coin flips.

Are there npc's around? What are you trying to catch?

Suicune so there shouldn't be anything around.

EDIT: Well since I hit that one, I entered the delay into pikatimer and have been consistently finding calls that have matched. However they are all at the wrong second.

Is this normal? When I put in the delay I got into pikatimer to calibrate, it assumes it's at the correct second right? I seem to be consistently hitting near 5809 but at 52 secs now. Should I change my calibrated second to 16 from 14 to compensate for this?

EDIT2: Okay, hitting close to my range as expected now.

Okay, this is happened to all types of RNG.
I'll input coin flips ( I know I have second/frame right, and delay near) but it will have no results. Every so often it'll come up with a result with a couple of my goal, but then go back to no results. What if going on?

ca030277 this is my seed if it matters at all also i have another question, how do 3rd gen games affect the frames or delay or whatever it affects while its inserted in the ds cause i'd like to pull out a zangoose but the only way to get is with ruby inserted

Asking this, and a new question.
Can you RNG abuse on a acekard? (A type of flashcart)

What do i have to do,in order to produce an egg that hatches shiny on another game?
I mean do i need to do something more than inputing the "target" game's ID/SID instead of the ID/SID combo of the game im producing the egg in?

not really the only other thing is if you're using international parents do not generate results using international parents aka do not check the international parents box (at least according to Mingot you shouldn't do that).

Wired thing. I've always done that (checked the box) and nothing ever went wrong...

I'm assuming you've found these spreads via PokéRNG, or are restricing your delay by a lot. First thing to do is run a search in PokéRNG for your desired attributes, and set the maximum delay to 99999. Then, when you get your results, ignore the frame PokéRNG gives you. Instead, type the spread into the Seed Finder in RNG Reporter, with the Open radio button selected and the Delay under 10000 box checked. The seeds the spread appars on will be isted in order of ascending frame. Find one with a decent compromise beween Frame and Delay, and go for that. If you don't know how to hit high delays, look up the PikaTimer tutorial on the front page.

Hope I've helped.
