I don't think i EV'd it. Plus serebii's IV calculator said almost the same stats as RNGReporter's IV check (all but 2, which it said "can't calculate" or something)

How did you get it to level 70, purely rare candies? If not, you have EVs on it. You can always have someone else check your SID for you also since you don't know if you EVd your pokemon or not.

i can try doing ryhorn (shiny i caught in a cave) but that's tomorrow (too tired right now) it's lv 41 or so and it's giving me 36 total hex numbers from the iv to pid applet website (lord i'm going to have fun)

I just hit the delay but the frames must have been off. I just found out I hit frame 106. My goal was 111. How exactly do you advance the frames in an area with wild Pokemon? The OP said "Walking in areas with wild Pokémon - The RNG is advanced by 1 for each step or turn that you make, even when repel is in use. Turning and walking in a single movement advances the RNG by 2." However, I took 5 steps and it did not do anything. Does the fact that I'm in the Old Chateau make a difference?
One more question. Can anyone tell me the page(s) that tells how to get a specified Pokemon in the wild? I'd like to know the exact page, specifically one that mentions Ditto in the Trophy Garden. Edit: I believe I found the answer to this on page 187.
Thanks to those that led me to the link with the slots for each location, but I still don't know how to use that information to get the specified Pokemon. How can I use the knowledge of what slot a Pokemon fills to obtain a Pokemon?

I have a question about the Distortion world Giratina. Is its inital frame REALLY 12? I find that impossible to believe after what I just did.
I hit my delay perfectly. I have no wandering pokemon yet (how could I?)
Giratina is meant to be initial frame 12. My target frame is 498.
This means: 498-12=486/2=243. Now thats fine, right? Well I did my flips, and did nothing else (after confirming the right seed.) Well, I came up with a set that only happened on ODD frames. I cannot imagine how thats possible, but assuming I got the flips exactly right, my inital frame must have been 5, 7 lower than what I thought.
Can anyone either correct me, or get that OP changed to reflect that it cannot be 12? (Unless something in the distortion world advances the frame? Something that DIDN'T happen with me?)
(Actually, a thought. A recent discovery about the date change would explain the extra frames. This would assume the tester was trying to catch Giratina in the distortion world and the date changed. A little bit of a stretch though...)

I can't get the Giratina from Distortion World either, the frame is very weird!
What do you mean? You can wait as long as you want before flipping the coins, since the IRNG (the one the Pokétch uses) doesn't advance unless you actually use the Pokétch, or breed some Pokémon.
You can still get its IVs. Follow these instructions:
-Get at least 11 of each of the stat-decreasing berries (Pomeg to Tamato).
-Save your game.
-Use the berries on Golem until its stats won't go any lower.
-Use an IV calculator, and don't put in any EVs.
-Reset your game to get your berries (and Golem's stats) back.
The berries don't reduce base stats, but EVs. Giving it 11 of each guarantees that all its EVs will be reduced to 0.

While using the RNG for Egg IV's, is it necessary to have parents with the required IV's? In the video by bearsfan092, he used Syberia's Ditto. However I dont have access to flawless in certain stats parents, as my Wi-Fi doesnt work :( (Im thinking for stuff like Frontier and future Wi-Fi)
So do I just then keep breeding till I hit a 31 Iv Parent?
Or alternately, could I just check the egg IV's for stuff which gives me a generated 31 IV's for a particular stat and then cross breed those again and again?

In my experience, I had to do it a few times to check the frame it was at (1 in my case), then I could SR for it as many times as I wanted to and it would stay that way. (Stupid thing struggled to death twice, or it would have the first time if I didn't use a Master Ball to check.) In the end I initiated battle, kept my DS on and caught it at night with a Dusk Ball. =/

Get your seed, get the frame your egg is on, then continue to abuse for IVs. Not that hard.
