Move Effectiveness Calculator

This came up here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3243955#post3243955
I found out that User Diesel beat me to the idea: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68024

Let's say you have Pokemon X. You want to know whether or not move-set A/B/C/D is good. By good, I mean the following:
*minimizes unwanted and unnecessary redundancy in move-set
*wide coverage of pokemon: examples include Boltbeam, Edgequake, etc.

However, there are now 649-ish some odd pokemon. Being the competitive player you are, you want your bases covered head to toe. You want to know whether or not you can handle the threats you think you're prepared for by entering data about your pokemon into a program and seeing what it can actually handle.
You want to see what the difference is coverage wise between A/B/C/D and A/B/C/E. Can Move E handle Scizor like you hope it does? Or should you give up on it and stick with the generic move-set?

Note that this should include abilities AND types. I want Lightningrod Zapdos factored in. I want Dry Skin Parasect factored in. I want Levitate factored in.

I realize this is no small feat. I think it would be a valuable team building resource to have.

Here's a simple, not so useful one voodoo pimp found. It appears no one has really tried to make a serious move effectiveness anything as I've described. Just simple ones.

That's sort of the idea, but I'd rather see the actual POKEMON returned instead of general mono-types.

X-Act has just to update this for gen. 5 and we're golden.

It seems someone beat Diesel (and me) to the punch.
Well then I guess my suggestion is to update it for Gen 5. I still ask that it also display/list Pokemon that are resistant/immune to a move-set as well.

I think you're seeking a quantitative answer for a qualitative problem.
