Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Paralysis comes in percentages ranging from 25% to 5% in 5% increments. Thunder Punch inflicts 15% Paralysis, and this decayed at the end of the round Piplup was Paralyzed, since Paralysis decays at the end of each round. Piplus now has 10% Paralysis, which gives her a 10% chance to be unable to nave on a given action. It will also decay by 5% if such a thing happens, so Piplup will be limber again in no time. Unless she gets Paralyzed again...
Action 2:
Sluggy Slug used Protect!
Sluggy Slug's EN: -(7 + (0 ÷ 2.5)) = -7 EN
An impenetrable barrier surrounded Sluggy Slug!
Magnemite used Thunder Shock + Thunder!!
Base Attack Power = 4 + 11 * 1.5 = 20.5 BAP
Energy Cost = (3 + 8) * 1.5 = 16.5 EC
Effect Chance = 10% + 30% = 40% for 20% Paralysis (I got this effect from a conversation I had on IRC)
Stat Boosts/Drops = 0
Return Damage = 0
Recoil = 0
Accuracy = ((1.00 + 0.70) / 2) + Spe Modifier = 85% (out of Rain)
Direct Recovery = 0
Contact = No
Type: Electric
Magnemite's EN: -(16.5 - 1) = -15.5 EN
Hit? Thunder in Rain Yes
Bypass Protect? 2608 <= 3000 Yes
Crit? 1897 <= 625 No
Damage = [(20.5 + 3 + 0 + 6 + 0 + 0 + 0 - 4.5 - 0) * 1.50] + (0 * 2) + 0 = 37.5
Sluggy Slug's HP: -37.5 HP
It's Super effective!
20% Paralysis? 838 <= 4000 Yes
Sluggy Slug is Paralyzed! She might not be able to move! 20% Paralysis
Action 3:
Magnemite Cooled Down!
Is Sluggy Slug fully Paralyzed? 5994 <= 2000 No
Sluggy Slug used Mud Bomb!
Sluggy Slug's EN: -5 EN
Hit? 9899 <= 8500 No
But it missed!
THE ORDER OF THINGS: Mowtom can send out a new mon waluigibros can counterswitch, and then waluigibros orders first
if waluigibros does not counterswitch, then Mowtom orders first whether or not he sends out a new mon
at any rate, I ref
Mowtom, do you know why Protect did not work against the combo? It's because according to the NDA's info on Rain Dance, Thunder (and Hurricane) not only always hits in the Rain, but it also has a 30% chance of bypassing Protect and Detect. In this case, that's exactly what happened.
This is the way things will be unless either of you two speak up. So speak now or forever hold your peace.
The combo of two moves used right after a cool down for that same combo confer a consecutive energy cost on both moves for the EC calculation. Also, you should order for the turn that you cool down too like this: Cooldown (Thunderbolt) because the combo you use might not be successful. A failed combo followed up by an order-less cooldown will result in a Struggle. That last one isn't a problem here, but I'm just letting you know those two things.
Second, Ground-type moves work a little differently in ASB. Not all of them are nulled by the likes of Levitate, Magnet Rise, or even the Flying-type! Instead, only a certain few moves are able to be dodged by Pokémon that are off-the-ground. This information can be further seen in the NDA.
There was a little mix-up in Sluggy Slug's Special Defense in the last order, so she now has 2 more HP. This has been made effective in both this reffing and the previous one.
Also, this was never specified in the rules, but I'm going to assume that the restrictions on Recoveries and Chills are 2 and 5 respectively. If wither of you have a problem with that then let me know.
Magnemite fell Asleep!
How deep of a sleep? RNG 2/3 = Deep Sleep Sleep 1a
Action 2:
Magnemite is Asleep!
Sleep: -1a
Is Sluggy Slug fully Paralyzed? 9921 <= 1000 No
Sluggy Slug used Rest!
Sluggy Slug's EN: -15 EN
Sluggy Slug is in a Restful Sleep! Resting 3a
Sluggy Slug has used on of her 2 Recovery Moves! -1/2 Recovery Move
Sluggy Slug is enjoying a Restful Sleep!
Sluggy Slug's HP: +12 HP
Paralysis: Cured
Action 3:
Magnemite woke up!
Magnemite Chilled!
Magnemite's EN: +12 EN
Magnemitte has used one of its 5 Chills! -1/5 Chill
Sluggy Slug is at Rest!
Resting: -1a
Sluggy Slug is enjoying a Restful Sleep!
Sluggy Slug's HP: +12 HP
Rain: -1r
Magnemite's Special Attack boost is no longer locked!
IN THE END:
Field: Weather: Rain 1r (+3 Water BAP, -3 Fire BAP)
First, I have to apologize. I have not been using the rank-to-stat-modification calculation correctly the entire time I've been reffing you two. Or to be more correct, I have not used it at all. This does not affect much, only the special attacks that Magnemite has used against Shellos. In addition, it seems that an HP or EN value with a hanging .5 is rounded down, not up. The following changes have been made:
1. Shellos has 3 less HP
2. Magnemite has 2 less HP
3. Magnemite has 10 more EN (I forgot to add +12 from that Chill)
I've also edited my own reffings to match the calculations I should have used.
In case you were wondering, these are the conversions that I did not even know about until today:
This will affect the round somewhat. If any of you don't like the changes that have been made, then you can complain to me, and we can see what we can do.
Also, I'm making each Pokémon's status profile a little more wordy.

Actually, I think the only difference is that Magnemite was not EN KO'd due to Chill being accounted for. Other than that, nothing really would have come out any differently.

waluigibros, you always have to cool down from a combo, even ones at the end, or that end a round. I almost didn't catch that this time, but all is well because I did. Please keep this in mind for your future battles here.

I meant to PM this to Josh, I think the old order slate was copy/pasted.
Also, apologies for forgetting to cooldown, I forgot about it too since my orders were fine, but the turn ended on the combo.
Signal Beam ~ Thunderbolt ~ Signal Beam
IF by some miracle Magnemite survives the Hidden Power THEN Chill ~ Explosion ~ X_X
Also, call me crazy, but I don't think orders after a death count for anything, judging by what happened to me after Magnemite got Shellos. I made the same mistake and it may cost me the match.
