Re: Manager self purchases & retains

Trick House Treeckos have selfbought LuckyPiper (16k) and crashy (17.5k). Their remaining budget is 100k - 16k - 17.5k = 66.5k.

Bell Tower Braves have selfbought Mateeus (12k). Their remaining budget is 100k - 12k = 88k.

Hearthome Honchkrows have selfbought Sabella (18k). Their remaining budget is 100k - 18k = 82k.

Tyrannical Tinkatons have selfbought Mada (13k) and retained North (13k). Their remaining budget is 100k - 13k - 13k = 74k.

Melemele Meloettas have selfbought Cielau (18.5k) and Toadow (21k). Their remaining budget is 100k - 18.5k - 21k = 60.5k.

Tohjo Falls Thunders have selfbought Splash (19k) and maroon (16k). Their remaining budget is 100k - 19k - 16k = 65k.

During the live auction for MPL X, lax messaged me on PS! that he would cancer the tournament and subsequently agree to take a tourban after being told it'd be for two years. As this is not his first offense in Monotype, and he only brought this up after he was drafted despite having been watching the auction prior to that, he will be banned from participating in team tournaments in Monotype for two years as well as receiving an infraction for unsportsmanlike conduct. The Braves were refunded during the auction for his purchase as a result.

Re: Lime sellback

The Hearthome Honchkrows have decided to sell back Lime. As this is prior to the beginning of Week 1 and we do not feature a midseason auction, they are eligible for an immediate replacement and have chosen roxie, who will be credited as a 3k purchase.

Re: Havens vs feen

Havens was subbed into a SV slot to play feen, but Havens is tier-locked out of SV for the duration of the regular season. The match was unfortunately started at about the same time I was able to alert the Tinkatons of this, so the match is declared a forfeit loss to the Tinkatons due to the ineligibility of their player for the tier and therefore counts as a win for feen and the Meloettas.

Re: Vodoom

Vodoom will be banned from MPL X due to unsportsmanlike behavior in their team Discord, where he's directed repeated negative and offensive comments at a teammate, clearly in violation of general tournament rules and guidelines. As this is not his first instance displaying behavior like this in Monotype team tournaments, his removal from MPL X will be coupled with a repeated offense infraction and a 1-year team tournament ban in Monotype, meaning he will be ineligible to participate in any Monotype team tournament until after MPL XI.

The Tinkatons will have 48 hours to choose a replacement player from the undrafted pool.

Re: Sylvi

Sylvi is voluntarily abandoning their MPL team, the Gengars, consequently earning them an unsportsmanlike infraction and yearlong ban from Monotype team tours. While prior precedent does not mention situations in which a player is sold back for reasons other than complete and total inactivity, we felt it noteworthy enough to carve this exception for players willingly abandoning a team.

As it's been discussed a bit, I'd like to clarify how this situation differs from that of Lime's:

• Lime's sellback was prior to the season beginning, and we used SPL rules to guide our decision there, including the decision to not issue punishment. As we feature no midseason auction, any replacement would effectively be credited as a 3k purchase instead.
  
  SPL Rule

  Teams who sell back players before the start of Week 1 will be reimbursed with credits equal to 1.5k+half of that player's retention cost or value in the auction. These credits may be used prior to the start of Week 1 on undrafted players who signed up, and players selected will be eligible to play starting in Week 1. Any of these credits that remain unused will be converted into sellback credits for use in the midseason auction.
• This situation is abandonment where the player admits they plan to do so ahead of time, and so we are moving ahead with the sellback now instead of waiting for multiple weeks due to Sylvi's own admission to their manager they're inactive and suggesting they'd remain that way, therefore hindering/sabotaging their team.

As such, the Gengars have selected KillaLeston as their replacement.

The Zoroarks tagged the Treeckos 4 minutes past the scheduled game time when DugZa was waiting for LuckyPiper to log on. No sub was provided within 30 minutes; therefore, DugZa is awarded the activity win.

Toadow pinged the Treeckos at the agreed upon scheduling time, waiting for LuckyPiper to login to smogtours. No sub was provided within 30 minutes; therefore, Toadow is awarded the activity win.

Cielau asked the Treeckos to have Suspensse reply to their scheduling earlier Sunday since there'd been no reply since Thursday and subsequently provided their last availability to the Treeckos in preparation for a potential Treeckos sub. As no sub was provided by the time the period ended, Cielau is awarded the activity win.

All these games are ruled dead due to being uncontested with the exception of Havens vs. MichaelderBeste2, which is ruled dead on the grounds that while MichaelderBeste2 did ask for a sub in the thread, this scheduling situation falls under not having a concrete time, meaning he was required to provide a period of his last availability of at least an hour in length and at least 30 minutes ahead of time to the opposing team. His manager's didn't ask for a sub, and while he asked for one himself, the conversation in the thread ultimately didn't provide a range of time beyond 'right now' with periodic updates, so the game is dead.
