Mudbray distinguishes itself from fellow Stealth Rock setters like Onix, Ferroseed, and Pawniard by being neutral to Fighting-type moves. This, along with Mudbray's impressive physical bulk and ability in Stamina, allows it to function as a check to many of LC's physically offensive threats such as Galarian Farfetch'd, Onix, and Vullaby. Heavy Slam allows Mudbray to threaten Cutiefly and Spritzee, while Rock Slide scores super effective hits on Flying-types like Vullaby, Wingull, and Drifloon. The EV spread maximizes defensive capabilities, allowing Mudbray to survive Knock Off into Brave Bird from Vullaby and 2 Close Combats from Galarian Farfetch'd while putting enough EVs into Speed in order to outspeed slow Mareanie, Ferroseed, and Timburr.

Mudbray complements many of LC's various Flying-types such as Drifloon, Rufflet, and Vullaby by weakening Flying-resistant Pokemon such as Onix and Pawniard. Water- and Grass-types such as Corphish, Wingull, and Oddish pose a significant threat to Mudbray. Mudbray pairs well with the defensive core of Ferroseed and Spritzee, with Ferroseed providing a check to the Water- and Grass-types that threaten Mudbray, while Spritzee provides Wish healing to keep Mudbray healthy. Another suitable teammate for Mudbray is Munchlax, which is capable of absorbing special attacks that threaten Mudbray extremely well. In return, Mudbray is able to take on Fighting-types and other physical attackers that threaten out Munchlax. Furthermore, partners such as Chinchou and Mareanie synergize well with Mudbray by providing a crucial teammate that resists Water.

Just an am-check - implement what you want.

- I would consider replacing the Rufflet mention with Drifloon, as Drifloon is more common and Rock Slide OHKOs it 62.5% of the time after Stealth Rock.

- I would consider a concrete example of what Pokemon counter punishes or what will stay in to hit Mudbray. Countering a U-Turn seems like it's usually less useful than predicting the switch-in, but a good argument as to why Counter is more reliable or a specific Pokemon coming in on the U-Turn doesn't like eating the counter.

- I would mention some partners that help Mudbray deal with Water-types; Mareanie and Chinchou for Water-types, for example.

- I would combine the last two sentences.

Good stuff, I like the EV spread and explanation.

i have no problems with the given spread (mudbray spreads are super flexible anyway IMO). i do think that we should unslash counter, though. it's a pretty niche option and comparable to roar and close combat for its effectiveness in any given game. i don't think mudbray will consistently find optimal chances to use counter if you're playing a reasonable opponent (for example, an opponent will likely not use g-farfetch'd to answer a full HP mudbray). i think it shouldn't be listed on this set as a slash for those reasons.

maybe mention wingull at the end there? it's notable for resisting heavy slam and being immune to eq

Counter can be utilized instead of Rock Slide to punish U-Turns or physical attackers, notably fighters like Timburr and G-Farfetch'd, that stay in to deal damage.

cut this one w/o counter

i would consider including munchlax as an option to absorb strong special hits and status moves (and mudbray checks things that it has issues with) but i don't really know where i'd fit it in and i don't feel strongly enough to demand it's in there unless the other QCer also agrees

1/2, nicely written :) i hope you continue to work on more analyses

GP thing - "Galarian Farfetch'd" instead of G-Farfetch'd or Farfetch'd-G.

Ferroseed isn't really a huge threat to Mudbray, it takes a ton from Earthquake and generally doesn't want to be taking such strong hits, Oddish would be a better example of a problematic Grass-type.

Add in Munchlax into teammates, talk about how Munchlax takes special attacks Mudbray prefers to avoid extremely well and in return Mudbray can take on Fighting-types and other physical attackers that can threaten out Munchlax.
