Challenge [Multi-Gen] Let Charizard Solo Them

I am attempting a multigenerational Charizard solo run in the following games:

>Red< (WE ARE HERE!)
Crystal
Fire Red
Diamond
Platinum
White
Black 2
Y
Alpha Sapphire
Sun
Ultra Sun

If it's unavailable in said games before the first gym, it hackin tim, excluding Pokemon Y, where I will choose Fennekin.

The rules are:
1. Try to limit scum saving. This is a habit I am trying to break.
2. HM slaves are permitted, but may not battle. They must have a non-damaging move to spam in case Zard faints.
3. The solo Pokemon must be named something along the lines of "Let Me Solo Them". "Lemme Solo" is fine in case the name doesn't fit.

Current progress:
:rb/charmeleon:
LEMME SOLO (Charmeleon, Red)
Level: 21
- Scratch
- Growl
- Ember
- Leer

Charmander is better than people give it credit for. Kanto’s starters are all honestly not as strong as what we would have to pick from in later games, but even in an environment where Fire is a mid Type at best and it has lower Special Attack than later games, you could do worse. It’s better than Arcanine in Gen 1 specifically in my opinion, and it’s probably the best Fire-Type in Kanto that doesn’t require a Fire Stone. Also in Gen 1, the critical hit mechanics and access to Slash later in the game partially compensate for the lower attacking stats. I’ve even seen people use Ember against Brock’s team before. It’s not the best move you can use but it’s something.

I agree with this. Also, Ember would be best against Geodude and Onix over Scratch for sure because of their low Special stats.

I’m going to eat at a restaurant but I’m bringing my console with me so hopefully I will make some progress.
