You probably saw the syndicated series (if anything) on Nickelodeon, and it was brought back on ABC in the late 90's. The show originally aired in the 70's, which was its best (imo) run.

Is that shit on DVD yet? I actually did watch it when I was a very small child in the early 80's on actual prime time television, it was one of those things where the show would seem over right after it started because you were so entertained.

Thing of it is, having at the time been like way below the age of 10, 90% of the humor was totally over my head, and I still worship Jim Henson.
