Okay, so this is my kinda first RMT, i made one awhile back but only posted half, and never had time to go back to it, so yeah... This is a new profile, but ive been a member for a long time, but i didnt use my last profile, and it got deactivated or some wierd stuff, so i made this new one.

Anyways! I dont have time to go through and detail my pokemon, or add witty remarks about them. So im gonna post the basics, with a short summary at the end, and im really hoping some people can help to perfect my team. :D

Blue means change.

More changes will be made soon, probably gonna replace Slowking with something, Maybe even Vaporeon too. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

First off a bulky Swampert can cause your team some problems. Even with Electivire having Hp Grass it can only do 64.1% - 76% to cursepert, which then can OHKO with Earthquake. I suggest switching out Hariyama for Machamp as he is better suited to deal with Swamperts. Because even the least bulky Machamp can only be OHKO'd by a CB Swampert and can never be OHKO'd if bulky. Personally, I think you should go with...
Machamp @ Choice Band
Ability:No Guard
Evs:252Hp/252Atk/6Spe
Nature:Adamant
-Close Combat
-Payback
-Ice Punch
-Bullet Punch
With SR down this Machamp has a (slim)chance to OHKO Swampert if it is Cursepert and will OHKO any other Swampert with Close Combat.

I see what you were aiming for with the two waters, but they both have weaknesses to some of the same things(Electric,Grass), and you have no ground immunity(which can wreck atleast half your team) I suggest that on Vaporeon you switch out ice beam for either surf(for STAB) or Hp Electric(to make one of the best Gyarados counters), since you won't have to worry about Dragons as much with Salamence being voted Uber. And switch out slowking for Gliscor as he is immune to both electric and ground attacks(which will help E-Vire greatly) and is only weakness, ice, Vaporeon come in on the switch and take any ice attack for him.

I'm still kinda new, but hopefully my suggestions can help your team :)

Hello! Well.. I see some common, but fixable mistakes on your team :)

First off, I see what your going for with the two waters to get Electivire's boost. This is a common mistake, as Electivire isn't very bulky, and when he's out of the way, something like Jolteon has a walk in the park with your team. I suggest another electric resistance. You can think of one yourself, but maybe a Rotom-A instead of Dusknoir?

Next, I like how you are using Slowking. Awesome pokemon :) It's good that you saw you needed the special wall and chose it over Slowbro. However, a big thing that sets the Slows apart from other bulky waters, is T-Wave. I feel like your team could really use the support. Now doing this W.o.W wouldn't be a good idea on Dusknoir (if you choose to ignore me on swapping it for Rotom-A). Imho W.o.W is overrated on Dusknoir, as it's offensive capabilities are nothing to laugh about. I suggest Shadow Sneak over W.o.W and T-Punch over Ice Punch, as Salamence is banned you silly goose! This is all if you choose to put T-Wave on the Slowking, if you don't then I'm typing for nothing but oh well lol.

Anyways, if you choose to add Rotom-A on your team as I suggested, use Rotom-H since that is the one you like.

Rotom-H
@Choice Scarf Timid
252spa 252spe 4SpD
Tbolt
Overheat
HpGround
Trick

I mentioned earlier things like Jolteon will steamroll after Vire is gone. Well this guy will stop the likes in their tracks. Enjoy.

Also I agree that Hariyama has no use in OU, unless in a hail team.

Edit Bump.
Also thanks everyone for your suggestions.

@dws93rd -
I didnt really fix my Swampert weakness yet, but im working on it.
I really wanna use Hariyama, im trying a new approach to him, if it doesnt work, im gonna use your Machamp set, but wouldnt Dynamicpunch be better then Close Combat?

@BigEricShun -
I didnt even realize the slows had thunder wave :D! Thus ive changed it, though im gonna keep Willowisp also, so i can cripple an opponent depending on my needs. I might change it though, as im sure they will tend to clash. Im prolly gonna change Dusknoir for Rotom H, but as of now, i wanna see how the team works before i make more changes.

Thx ppl :D!

Just some basic feedback here.
Firstly, just for future reference, please put the individual descriptions of each pokemon underneath each pokemon, constant scrolling is no fun :S.

Firstly, on your lead, its 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe, I think this is just a typo though.

Slowking does not cut it in OU as a Wall of any sort, namely because of his horrid OU typing, where he takes SE from Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt, both widely popular moves, not to mention Scizor can U-Turn, completely ruining him, not to mention you have another Water type wall, using both with similar typing is not a good idea, because you can't switch between the two safely. Something such as a CursePert could work:

Swampert @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
Careful - Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 SpD
Moves:
~Curse
~Waterfall
~Sleep Talk / Earthquake
~Rest / Roar

Even though Vaporeon and Swampert share a Water typing, Grass Knot is the only popular Grass move, and I will talk about this a bit further down. Roar gives you a Phazing move which is nice, not much can break down Swampert late game, and read on, I suggest removing Whirlwind from Hariyama, even if you choose not to give Swampert Roar.

Dusknoir cannot ResTalk effectively, namely because of his horrid HP stat, which means he still gets 2HKOd by standard STAB SpA attacks, making him rather useless when asleep, and Earthquake has pathetic coverage by itself. Change the moveset to the standard Earthquake/WilloWisp/ShadowSneak or IcePunch/PainSplit. As mentioned above, Swampert can function as your ResTalker/Status Absorber. Rotom-H is also a good option over Dusknoir, test out the standard Physical Wall set.

On Hariyama, you cannot function two different roles, either go with offence or defence. Toxic Orb + Whirlwind is a plain stupid combo, sure you are getting residual damage to your opponent, but you are killing yourself in the process! So you can either change the EVs to a more offensive spread, and run Fake Out over Whirlwind, OR change the spread to a more bulky one [invest heavily in HP/SpD], use Thick Fat, and run Leftovers. You may also find a Impish or Careful nature to work better on the wall set. Keep in mind that for the offensive set, Machamp is definitely worth testing over Hariyama.

On Vaporeon, change the Modest nature to Bold.

Weavile is a horrible pokemon in my opinion, it cannot break common OU walls at all, and its STABs have terrible coverage thanks to the dominant steel pokemon. Not to mention the combination of LO/Sub and weakness to SR make for a very short life. Here, I recommend a Choice Scarf Flygon, who compliments your walls well, and can revenge kill when needed, while also being a scout/go to guy.

Dynamic Punch, in my opinion, would not be better because you lose 20 base power and I would think you would want more power>confusion to rack more OHKOs. But you could run it ONLY if you used the No Guard ability if you like the confusion.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

Your descriptions are lacking, which means you are violating the above quoted RMT rule. If you wish to remedy this problem, lengthen your descriptions by including more information. By adding more information, the individuals that decide to rate your team will be able to help you more effectively. I recommend lurking through the RMT Archive in order to see prime examples of what we're looking for in an RMT! If you improve your explanations for your Pokémon, please private message me indicating that you've done so by showing me your new descriptions. Once you've done that, I will re-open this thread.
