My first team I need suggestions!

This is the first team I have every made....So I'm gonna need some help with the problems in my team and stuff. So here it is:
(sorry for mistakes, I'. new to this stuff)

k2k9sk.jpg

Skarmory@Shed Shell
Sturdy
252HP/140Def/116SDef
Impish
Roost
Stealth Rock
Spikes
Whirlwind

Skarmory, I think is a great and bulky lead. I tried to make the EV's as bulky as possible from both ends. Common leads like Metagross and Swampert cannot even touch Skarmory. For taunt leads like Azelf and Aerodactyl, I switch to Tar when I expect a taunt and go for the kill. The usual Azelf leads are usually more easyer than Aero because my sandstrom can breaks its sash and OHKO it while my crunch 2HKOs Aero. Sleep leads can really cause problems for Skarmory and I don't have anyone that wants to snooze. And shed shell is used so Magnezone won't trap me.
Fire-Heatran,Tyranitar
Electric-Tyranitar(it doesn't resist but it fits the role neatly)

6fsgawk.jpg

Metagross@Occa Berry
Clear Body
112HP/252Atk/12Def/132Spe
Adamant
Agility
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

The standard Agiligross is my late-game sweeper and it does that job nicely. It's typing grants many useful resistances, an immunity, and only 2 weaknesses. This gets me many chances to set up agility and sweep. Meteor Mash is my main attack and causes very heavy damage to anything that doesn't resist. Equake is there to hit the fire, electric, and steel types who resist meteor mash. And thunderpunch hits the water and flying types hard. I chose occa berry becuase when there is a double switch, it's easyer to set up my agility.
Fire-Heatran,tyranitar
Ground-Zapdos, skarmory

8adyayw.jpg

Tyranitar@Choice scarf
Sand Stream
252Atk/252Spe/4Def
Jolly.
Pursuit
Crunch
Stone Edge
Superpower

Tyranitar is my favorite pokemon because he is such a beast and this set is becoming very popular for good reason. Tyranitar is my check to psychics and ghosts such as starmie, gengar, azelf, latias, etc. He also makes a good check to SD Lucario by outspeeding and superpower for the KO. After a kill tyranitar gets, people usually switch to scizor and u-turn, can't help this but heatran can easily take the shot. I also use this guy to take special attacks and hopefully get a kill.
Ground-Zapdos, Skarmory
Fighting-Zapdos
Water-None but he can handle almost all water users in the tier
Grass-Zapdos, Heatran, Metagross, Skarmory
Bug- Skarmory, Heatran, Machamp, Zapdos
Steel-Heatran, Zapdos, Skarmory, Metagross

f3al9g.jpg

Zapdos@Leftovers
Pressure
248Hp/76Spe/184SDef
Timid
Thunderbolt
Roost
Substitute
Toxic

This is the SubRoost Zapdos. It has great bulk and can stall out the enmy with toxic easily. It's easy because it forces many switchs to catch off guard with toxic then stall it out with substitue and roost. Thunderbolt is a mandatory stab and i'll need it for some offensive power. Zapdos' typing is great for my team because it resists most of tyranitar's,mahcamps, metagross', and heatrans weaknesses. Zapdos can really hurt stall teams with this moveset since they can't status me with poison behind a sub or paralyze me while they lose to toxic and subroost.
Rock-Machamp, Metagross
Ice-Heatran, Metagross, Skarmory

23vkvmv.jpg

Heatran@Leftovers
Flash Fire
252SpAtk/252Spe/4Hp
Timid
Flamethrower
Substitute
Earth power
Dragon Pulse

Heatran is a great pokemon IMO. Useful resistances and immunities with solid defenses and typing, amazing special attack stat, what else can you ask for. This thing causes a lot of switches so I ca easily set up my sub.
Heatran is my usual switch in on scizors as long its not superpower or brick break. Flamethrower is a great attack and i can usualy get 2HKOs with it once I'm behind my sub. I can also switch this in one rotom's W-o-W for a good boost(they usually run after that). Earth power is for other fire types. Dragon pulse is for..well dragons that switch in on my fire. Salamence gets koed after sr and so does flygon.
Ground-Zapdos, Skarmory
Water-I hope my tyranitar can take it and kill
fighting-Zapdos

2qk1ag4.jpg

Machamp@Leftovers
No Guard
252Atk/248hp/8Spe
Adamant

Substitute
Dynamic punch
Payback
Stone edge

I set up a sturdy-ish sub on something that will likely to switch like Tyranitar. Nothing will like a dynamic punch and get confused, not even tings that resist. Payback are for ghosts like rotom and gengar. Perfect stone edge accuracy is more the dragons/gyarados that like to switch in. Heatran can take poison and burn status aimed at Machamp while also resisting its weaknesses. The Evs and nature allow d-punch to hit as hard and possible and get as much bulk as needed.
Psychic-Tyranitar, Skarmory, Metagross, Heatran
Flying-Zapdos, Metagross, Heatran, Skarmory, Tar

Well there's my team. Rate it, give me suggestions and stuff like that ^^

You didn't list any moves for your Machamp. :x

On your Heatran you said that Tar can take Water the hits, thats not true, Zapdos can take the hits better.

You need a spin blocker, if your going to go through all the trouble of setting up those hazards, you don't want them to get blown away! ^_^ I would suggest putting in a RestTalk Rotom-A instead of Zapdos, it basically does the same job, and its not Stealth Rock weak.

Sorry for the short rate. I'll come back later tonight/tomorrow and elaborate on it. I'm a bit tired.

Also, don't use the Skarm Spread mentioned above, its awful.

Hi.

First of all, your lead. Skarmory isn't a very effective lead in my opinion because it doesn't perform well against the top ten leads used. A lot of leads carry Fire attacks and out-speed Skamory and some have Taunt to prevent you from setting up Stealth Rock. So, you will most likely find yourself KOed or taunted rendering you useless. It is also recommended you don't use SR on Skarm because there is an abundance of Pokemons that are able to utilize it. A better lead to use would be Metagross as it beats virtually every lead by setting up SR most of the time. In addition, when equipped with an Occa Berry, nothing will be able to OHKO you thanks to it's natural bulk. Just change your Metagross' set and move him to a lead position. Skamory works a lot better outside of a lead position because it is more safe from Taunt users. This is the set I recommend:

Metagross @ Occa Berry | Adamant | Clear Body
EV Spread: 248 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 12 Spe
Meteor Mash / Explosion | Earthquake | Stealth Rock

Standard.

Now that you're using Metagross as your lead; you've freed up a spot in Skamory's moveset because Metagross sets up SR now. I would suggest using Brave Bird over SR so that you have an attacking move now and not a setup fodder to setup Pokemons.

Now, onto the team's weaknesses. DD Salamence is a huge threat to this team, it can get at least a kill or two per match if played right. It can switch-in on Tyranitar locked onto Earthquake or Pursuit, setup a DD and proceed to sweep. The problem is that at +1 nothing can take any of it's attacks. Your whole team is outsped while Skarmory is OHKOed by Fire Blast, Zapdos and Machamp cannot take a Stone Edge (Zapdos) and Heatran and Tyranitar are easily KOed by an Earthquake. Gyarados is also a huge problem as it can setup on Tyranitar locked onto a certain move, setup a few DDs and proceed to decimate your team. MixApe is also worth a mention even though it is revenge killed by your Scarf Tyranitar. It is your only way of beating it so it is a problem because it can out-speed everybody barring Tyranitar and OHKO/2HKO.

Now, I noticed your Zapdos is not needed on this team in particular. It checks SD Lucario and Scizor, but those two are already covered by Tyranitar and Heatran respectively. Also, it's SR wekaness is very unattractive because it takes 25% everytime it switches in. The best thing you can do here is replace it with a offensive Suicune, which checks all of those threats and makes your team a bit more offensively dangerous. This change will enhance your team's offensive capabilities while improving it's ability to check threats. Here's the set:

Suicune @ Leftovers / LO | Timid | Pressure
EV Spread: 4 HP | 252 SpAtk | 252 Spd
Surf | Calm Mind | Ice Beam | HP Electric

I hope this helps and good luck with your team.

Hello Tyranitar, looks as if you could use some help with your team.

Currently, you lack both a Water resistance and an electric resistance. This will make switching into a Choice Specs Jolteon a tricky and often painful thing to do. In addition, you are very susceptible to Subpetaya Empoleon and CroCune sweeps. In addition, four of your pokemon are susceptible to Spikes, which will give your team difficulty against a Stall team, as entry hazards are an essential element to all stall teams. I would replace Zapdos with Latias. Why replace Zapdos? SubRoost Zapdos is a good PP staller, which will fit well into most Stall teams, while also countering Scizor, Lucario, and even Gyarados to an extent. Scizor is countered by Heatran. SD Lucario can be countered by Latias somewhat and Skarmory (and is revenged by Tyranitar). Gyarados is miserably walled by Skarmory, and even Latias if Gyarados hasn't donned Ice Fang.

380.png

Latias @ Leftovers | Levitate
Timid: 252Hp / 4SpA / 252Spe
Surf | Calm Mind | Dragon Pulse | Wish

Pros: First and foremost, Latias provides useful resistances to both Electric and Water. Latias also provides your team with Wish Support. This is important because many of your pokemon are grounded, making them susceptible to Spikes. Latias can come in on the ever-so-common Earthquake, and proceed to Wish or stat up. An emphasis of the Evs are placed in Speed, so that Latias can sweep easily with several Calm Mind boosts, as well as HP, which allows Latias to become a prominent Special Wall once a few Calm Minds are obtained. Water and Dragon provides interesting type coverage, only resisted by Empoleon and Shedninja (who happens to be eliminated by Tyranitar's handy-dandy Sand Stream). Your team will gain a second Ground immunity, which helps redirect Earthquakes and Earth Powers aimed at your three Ground weaks. Latias is normally miserably walled by Blissey, but with Calm Mind, Latias is capable of winning 1 on 1.

Cons: Latias does bring several bad things to the table, make no mistake. Latias, like most Psychics and Ghosts, gets easily trapped by Scizor and Tyranitar. However, Latias can 2HKO 4/0/0 Tyranitar with a +1 Surf and Stealth Rock or Spike damage. Adamant Tyranitar is capable of OHKOing Latias with Crunch, so to survive Tyranitar, Latias must catch him on the switchin. Latias cannot beat Gyarados with Ice Fang 1 on 1, something that Zapdos could do. Finally, you will lose a Status Spreader. Common switchins to Zapdos include Tyranitar (who dislikes poison), Latias (who dislikes poison), and Blissey. With Latias and Tyranitar maimed, your own Tyranitar would have an easier time sweeping because Scarf Latias can nail you with Surf, or just Trick you, while Jolly DD or Scarf Tyranitar will go down to a speed tie.

Your team is a Spike-Stacking Offense, or Semi-Stall. Neither of these playstyles enjoy having all of their hard-earned entry hazards removed. So, I would recommend that you switch out Metagross for this Rotom-h, who will perform as your spin-blocker. Why eliminate Metagross? Metagross provides your team with an unhealthy third Ground weakness. In addition, both he and Tyranitar (which seems to be your offensive core) are easily walled by Skarmory to no end. Rotom-h will be able to deal with check Skarmory easily. In addition, Gyarados will be countered by Rotom-h.

499.png

Rotom-h @ Leftovers | Levitate
Calm: 252Hp / 136Def / 120SpD
Rest | Sleep Talk | Discharge | Shadow Ball

Pros: Rotom-h adds a valuable status absorber to your team. No pokemon on your team enjoys Paralysis, to say the least. Skarmory may miss out on an important Roost or Spike turn. Scarf on Tyranitar becomes pointless, as his speed will be drastically lowered, while being locked into one move. Heatran will now be outsped by many things that he used to counter, like Adamant Heracross. Latias relies on her speed to both sweep and to Calm Mind before her opponent can attack to cut damage dealt. Machamp will no longer be able to surely fire off Dynamic Punches on switchins. In addition to taking Status, Rotom-h provides a fun Explosion immunity, which may result from Leadgross or from Heatran having Latias as a switchin. Discharge allows Rotom-h to nail incoming Tyranitar and Scizor and hopefully paralyze them before they can Pursuit you to your death. Calm is a strange choice for a rotom-A. Most Rotom-A choose Bold to keep up with the physical metagame we are now in. However, most physcial attacks aimed at Rotom-h can be redirected at Skarmory, providing more setup. Previously, your team had but one Fighting resistance. This could cause problems trying to switch into Machamp.

Cons: Rotom-h is a pokemon that is easily trapped and killed by Scizor and Tyranitar. This alongside my Latias suggestion may make this team slightly Tyranitar weak, but Skarmory makes a great Tyranitar counter. Rotom-h eliminates your team's second Rock resistance in Metagross. Never fear, as your Machamp will willingly take Stone Edge from Tyrantiar and counter with Dynamic Punch. Second, Rotom-h eliminates your team's second Ice Resist, which can possibly be troublesome if a CB Mamoswine uses Ice Shard.

Now that I have fixed the main troubles for this team, allow me to take a closer look at each of your sets.

Skarmory: Looks as if you are trying to make Skarmory a balanced wall. In my opinion, there is a better EV spread waiting for you. The Specially Defensive spread puts all Evs into Hp or Spd. This means that the old standby expression, “Skarmory loses to unresisted Special Attacks” is false. With a set of Impish: 252Hp / 4Def / 252SpD, Skarmory can come in and set up on some special attackers and set up. One of the most practical of these is Vaporeon. The Standard Wish Passing Vaporeon fails to 3HKO Skarmory, allowing for keen setup. With all of these Evs in SpD instead of Def, Skarmory performs worse as a physical wall. In addition, Sturdy is a useless ability on Shoddy. Sturdy prevents OHKO moves from working, but there is a OHKO clause. Keen Eye may, however rarely, prevent Skarmory's Accuracy from being dropped. Keen Eye over Sturdy.

Well, it appears I am done here. I hope you will be able to improve your team!
