My Normal (non-weather) Team

Ok I can't really see anything wrong right now, but I'm sure there are some things. So please help, if you can!!

Relaxed Forretress @ Macho Brace
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/162 Atk/96 Def
Toxic Spikes
Rapid Spin/Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
Explosion

I like Forry as a lead, because he doesn't get used as a lead and is only weak to fire. He sets up spikes and serves as a spinner. But not all Pokemon get poisoned. That's where Stealth Rock comes in. Rapid Spin is great on Forry and can be needed for my Sashing Gengar. I wanted Shed Shell to deal with Magnezone, but then again I wanted Gyro Ball. If I put Explosion on him, Rapid Spin may become useless later on, and I have Heatran to explode. So I need help on that.

Okay, if you're going to make Forretress a starter, which I have no problem with, don't, for the love of God, don't give it Macho Brace. Give it something useful, like Leftovers, or even Occa Berry. Otherwise, it won't be that good of a starter for you. IMO, I would replace Toxic Spikes with Stealth Rock, but that's just me. Otherwise, it looks fine.

Modest Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA/40 Spe/104 Def/114 HP
Flamethrower/Fire Blast/Lava Plume
Earth Power
Dragon Pulse
Explosion

If I get lucky with Flash Fire activation, the first slot move will deal LOTS of damage. I just can't decide which to put in there. The other moves are self-explanitory.

Lava Plume is most likely out of the question, seeing as the previous 2 are much better in the long run. I would put Fire Blast because of its superior power, and even without a Flash Fire boost, you can still deal a hell of a lot of damage to Blissey. If you're running Modest, I would consider putting Choice Scarf on, just so you don't get outrun by Scarftrans and Chomps.

Adamant Dugtrio @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 SpD
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Sucker Punch
Stone Edge

REVENGE.
I have this Dugtrio and he pwns. He gets almost every revenge kill while exceding to kill 1 or 2 more pokemon. This set is a keep, but I don't know if I should replace him. He also has an Electric resistance, which is great for my Vaporeon.

Very nice, I see nothing wrong with this.

Modest Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA/34 Spe/Something else in SpD and HP
Thunderbolt
Magnet Rise
HP Ice
Explosion

This Magnezone is great!! He has very high SpA and with STAB, T-bolt does a lot. About half to a max HP Bliss. Anyways, I kinda want to switch him. I had him in there to resist ice, but Vaporeon covers that. I think I need a physical attacker in place of Magnezone. Help me with this :\

Again, I see nothing wrong with it. However, if you wanted to, you could try to find a place to put in Substitute. That way, you could protect yourself from any status conditions and ground type attacks. Otherwise, it looks fine.

Modest Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
HP Ice

I love this Gengar!! I faced it once and it sweeps lots of pokemon. Sash allows it to get more kills in and scores super effective damage. He also resists Ground and Fighting which is great backup for Heatran.

I would consider making Gengar your starter, seeing as it has Focus Sash and all. If someone sets up Stealth Rock, your strategy is pretty much ruined. Otherwise, very nice moveset/EV spread.

Bold Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Def/188 HP/70 SpA
Wish
Surf
Ice Beam/Toxic
Protect

Staller. Vaporeon can absorb Surfs coming at Dugtrio and Heatran. I can Surf for lots of damage too. Ice Beam/Toxic is a tough decision. Toxic is better for stalling and Ice Beam is better for Dragons. Wish/Protect is great too!!

If you're going to run this Vaporeon, replace Ice Beam with Hidden Power Electric. That way, you can deal with Gyarados and other bulky waters better.

Well that's my team!! I hope you can give me feedback and comments.

I hope I helped.

Either choose Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock, its unlikely you get 2 toxic layers and 1 SR layer. Especially when you use him as a lead. Either go with Rapid Spin or Explosion, both can work but you need to use explosion after the Spiker from your opponent is gone. Gyro ball is always nice.

Modest Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA/40 Spe/104 Def/114 HP
Flamethrower/Fire Blast/Lava Plume
Earth Power
Dragon Pulse
Explosion

If I get lucky with Flash Fire activation, the first slot move will deal LOTS of damage. I just can't decide which to put in there. The other moves are self-explanitory.

This thing works great together with Forretress, i would go with Lava Plume, it makes Chomp think twice switching in 2 this cause of the burn rate.(30%) You might wanna invest some atk evs in heatran as it makes Explosion go more BOOM. Dragon Pulse is nice good for coverage, especially on chomp because it carries Yache Berry most of the time.

Adamant Dugtrio @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 SpD
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Sucker Punch
Stone Edge

REVENGE.
I have this Dugtrio and he pwns. He gets almost every revenge kill while exceding to kill 1 or 2 more pokemon. This set is a keep, but I don't know if I should replace him. He also has an Electric resistance, which is great for my Vaporeon.

REVENGE, like you said this thing is just evil. Everything is fine except i would go for Jolly and Choice Band it, then it outspeeds gengar and Infernape, aswell as starmie and many other pokemon.

Lucario is replacement for this guy, Swords Dance lucario pwns you should look at the sets for lucario on Smogon. Make sure you get extremespeed or mach punch together with it.

Modest Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
HP Ice

I love this Gengar!! I faced it once and it sweeps lots of pokemon. Sash allows it to get more kills in and scores super effective damage. He also resists Ground and Fighting which is great backup for Heatran.[/COLOR]

No fixes, maybe Destiny bond, works wonders with Focus Sash. Though Sandstorm ruins this.

Bold Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Def/188 HP/70 SpA
Wish
Surf
Ice Beam/Toxic
Protect

Staller. Vaporeon can absorb Surfs coming at Dugtrio and Heatran. I can Surf for lots of damage too. Ice Beam/Toxic is a tough decision. Toxic is better for stalling and Ice Beam is better for Dragons. Wish/Protect is great too!!

This Vappy would do fine, altough you might wanna use this EV spread: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SpA

Conclusion: This team has some nice type coverage, get the fixes i recomment and this team would go fine. Dugtrio is very good in this team, you should definetly go with Destiny Bond on Gengar, as no1 expects you to do that.

Well that's my team!! I hope you can give me feedback and comments.

I was actually thinking of a Timid Heatran with Specs. Maybe that would be better. And for Vaporeon I could Toxic the Gyarados maybe before he Taunts. Then I could either switch or Protect. His can't do much against Vapor. Water absorb. EQ won't do much and neither will Ice Fang.

ah very nice you changed some things i recommended you. Did it work for you, was my help good? I want to know lol.

You might wanna use or Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock, its unlikely you get 2 layers of TS and 1 layer of SR. Especially on forry since any special sweeper ruins your plan.

For the love of god, use Jolly dugtrio with CB, it outspeeds so much more like infernape and Starmie and then revenge kill them, just do that, its alot better. Especially as i see infernape ruining this team.

Ya you and Glameow helped LOTS. I might switch vapor for Starmie.
Bold Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Spe/204 Def/54 SpA
Surf
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Recover

I'll serve as a tank, giving me another ice move and my Infernape killer. I want to have max speed FOR Infernape and Thunderbolt for Gyarados'. I might go for Psychic which kills Heracrosses and stuff but I'm not sure which to pick. Most likely recover. Comment on this please.

I'd replace Occa Berry on Forretress with Shed Shell, since without Earthquake, you aren't gonna do alot to those Infernapes and Heatrans. Without Earthquake, you also can't do a thing to Magnezone, so Shed Shell seems to be better. Either that, or replace Explosion for Earthquake, but you'd need a lot of prediction to beat a Magnezone on the switch-in.

You might want to Scarf Heatran, as your team lacks speed in general, with Adamant Dugtrio being your fastest Pokemon.

That Gengar would be better of with a Timid nature, so it can outspeed Infernape, Garchomp and others. It would also like Life Orb for the increase in power, but if you can keep the rocks away, you should be good with it. If you keep Sash, Destiny Bond could be possible over HP Ice, since it will take Yache-Chomp with you into the grave.

Alternatively, you could Scarf Gengar and keep Heatran as it is, so you can outspeed and revenge kill more pokes. If you do, make it Timid if you want to beat Deoxys-S to the punch, or Modest if you think your team handles it pretty well.

I'm starting to wonder why people were telling telling me to remove Forry from my team. It look realy nice, but you don't have a realy good way to stop SD luke from running through your team. To fix that you might want to bring back Focus Blast on your Gengar and make it Scarfed. Other then that CalmCune is the only thing I can think of that could do a ton of damage to everyone. Trust me that HP electric on Vappy does not remedy this. However on that subject, you should probably run HP, even though it doesn't help againt suicune it sure does help against Gyarados. I ran that set on Shoddy and I switched to protect but I rarely used it so I switched back. hope this helps

The Gengar has 350 speed which is max and out speeds Infernape :p

Forretress, Vaporeon, and Heatran are all well suited to take hits, plus Wish support, so a designated "wall" isn't all to necessary.
I'd just like to emphasize HP Electric over Toxic on Vaporeon for Gyarados, who can set up and sweep against Dugtrio not locked into Stone Edge, Forretress, and Heatran locked into Earth Power and non-boosted Flamethrowers.

Toxic Spikes doesn't do much in this metagame and I think it is just there for bliss and chomp otherwise these MORE common OUs resist it

Gengar
Lucario
Heatran
Yanmega
Deoxys-S, being a special sweeper.

Not much to say on this team...It's really good

Ok Gyro Ball is in again since I have 0 Spe IVs and I most likely won't get all of my spikes up.

SR > TSpikes. In this fast paced metagame, you need that one turn set-up or something can set up on you. Personally, I wouldn't use it as a lead. It's very susceptible to taunt. I would replace it with your Heatran for the simple reason that you can "pretend" its Scarfed so it forces your opponent to make switches.
dpmfa485.png

Modest Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Attack/252 Spe/252 SpA
Fire Blast
Earth Power
Dragon Pulse
Explosion

If I get lucky with Flash Fire activation, the first slot move will deal LOTS of damage. I just can't decide which to put in there. The other moves are self-explanitory. I got this in a trade so I didn't get the EVs I wanted. It's a very good Heatran though and with Choice Specs it's gonna pwn. It's attack is very bad. Should I replace Explosion? with....

Looks good, just fix the EVs and make it your lead.

dpmfa051.png

Adamant Dugtrio @ Choice Band
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 SpD

Good.

dpmfa448.png

Adamant Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Close Combat
Swords Dance
Extreme Speed
Crunch

Lucario serves as my Physical Attacker and with Life Orb after a SD it's going to deal a lot. Extreme speed is for proirity and Crunch for Cresselias and friends. CC gets STAB so... ya.

Good.

dpmfa094.png

Modest Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
HP Ice
Hypnosis

I love this Gengar!! I faced it once and it sweeps lots of pokemon. Sash allows it to get more kills in and scores super effective damage. He also resists Ground and Fighting which is great backup for Heatran.

Personally, Hypnosis is more useful than Destiny Bond, as it can incapasitate a threat to your team.

dpmfa134.png

Bold Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Def/188 HP/70 SpA
Wish
Surf
Ice Beam

Staller. Vaporeon can absorb Surfs coming at Dugtrio and Heatran. I can Surf for lots of damage too. Toxic is better for stalling and Ice Beam is better for Dragons. Wish/Protect is great too!!

Well that's my team!! I hope you can give me feedback and comments.

HP Ice on Gengar, another Ice move?

Yeah, you need it. I run three attacks, because a lot of times, the opponents see only two, and switch in Gyarados/Garchomp to set up on you, where you can hit them for super effective. It never hurts to carry more than one ice move on your team.

You really have a large Garchomp weak. It can set up on you very easily, and rampage through your team with Earthquake. Replace Lucario with an SD Weavile to revenge kill Chomp.

Why would you use explosion? I'm not gonna rant, but exploding walls are such a waste, when you can stall and what not. Earthquake is the big winner on this guy.

dpmfa485.png

Modest Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 255 Spe/255 SpA

This is going to be quite slow with a Modest nature, make sure that you know what your up against before you decide to send him in.

Life orb is the best choice. You can get stuck and die, just go to dugtrio smogon on google and read up about the dangers of CBTRIO.

Hp ice will deal with Gliscor, which can deal massive damage to this set especially.
dpmfa094.png

Modest Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
HP Ice
Destiny Bond

I love this Gengar!! I faced it once and it sweeps lots of pokemon. Sash allows it to get more kills in and scores super effective damage. He also resists Ground and Fighting which is great backup for Heatran.

I love that Gengar too, except it's missing Hypnosis. Destiny bond is a gamble anyways.

Bold Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Def/188 HP/70 SpA
Wish
Surf
Toxic/HP Electric
Protect

Staller. Vaporeon can absorb Surfs coming at Dugtrio and Heatran. I can Surf for lots of damage too. Toxic is better for stalling and Ice Beam is better for Dragons. Wish/Protect is great too!!

If you want a tstaller go with Walrein. Otherwise opt for HP elec on your Vaporeon, as Gyarados can DD all over you.

I just felt like throwing my two cents in here. Hope I helped :)

Well that's my team!! I hope you can give me feedback and comments.

HP Ice on Gengar, another Ice move?

EDITED LOTS!

Please help on the Toxic/HP Electric matter.

Wow yes, you guys helped lots. EQ ruins this team except for Gengar and Vapor. Weavile is now switched for Dugtrio. Ice Shard kills Garchomps, and because of Weavile getting ice STAB, Vaporeon is going to keep Protect because it's better if you have low HP. Life Orb on Dugtrio was my original but I changed to CB for more damage. Weavile took his place now. Although I LOVED Arena Trap :(

EDIT: Maybe a Deoxys-S for my lead with SR. But then I lose Rapid Spin which is not good. I was thinking of a Claydol, but then again, he is slow.

Ok I can't really see anything wrong right now, but I'm sure there are some things. So please help, if you can!!

Timid Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate

Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
HP Ice
Destiny Bond

I love this Gengar!! I faced it once and it sweeps lots of pokemon. Sash allows it to get more kills in and scores super effective damage. He also resists Ground and Fighting which is great backup for Heatran. LEAD!!!

Timid > Modest. That way, you won't have a whole lot more outspeeding you when you try to Destiny Bond. Otherwise, it looks fine. You may want to replace Thunderbolt with Focus Blast just so you get that type coverage, but other than that, its fine.

dpffa488.png

Calm Cresselia @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/108 Def/148 SpDef (I didn't clone her before I EV'd :\ )
Rest
Grass Knot
Ice Beam
Calm Mind

This is my Cress and she's really good. She survives a Draco Meteor from a Garchomp and it does less than half. Grass knot kills Swamperts which can be a problem for this team. Ice Beam kills dragons also.

Good.

You shouldn't replace Explosion with anything - It can still OHKO a Bliss. Fire Blast >>>>>>>>>> Lava Plume/Flamethrower.

Jolly Weavile @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Pursuit
Ice Shard
Brick Break
Night Slash

REVENGE. Switched in for Dugtrio for no Garchomp fear. I also have a good fighting move so I'm wondering if I should now switch Lucario.

Minor nitpick here. Replace either Pursuit OR Night Slash with Aerial Ace. That way you have something to hit Blaziken/Infernape with. Otherwise its fine.

dpmfa448.png

Adamant Lucario @ Life Orb

Use HP Electric. That way, you don't get completely walled by Gyarados and Pokemon that have Water Absorb.

Well that's my team!! I hope you can give me feedback and comments.

HP Ice on Gengar, another Ice move?

EDITED LOTS!

Please help on the Toxic/HP Electric matter.

As far as I can tell, unless you have Tbolt on Gengar, you get walled by Gyarados. Dragon Dance/Waterfall/Earthquake/Stone Edge will do a whole lot to this team. Otherwise, your team looks good to me.

With this team I'm trying to counter most OU/BL Pokemon while forming resistances with combos of my Pokemon.
ex. Gliscor would use EQ on Heatran, and I'd switch to Gengar.

Ok I can't really see anything wrong right now, but I'm sure there are some things. So please help, if you can!!

I'm the only 1 who says this, but use Lava Plume. 30% burn chance it owns Garchomps. you got the power already with choice specs.

Since Garchomp is now Uber should I take out Weavile? I'm gonna need some reasons and help. Also on Cresselia I was thinking of switching Ice Beam with Psychic or something with Psychic because it is actually needed for Tentacruels and Gengars. Please help again!
