My Team. Rate it.

A team I made. It works okay on Shoddy (as in, there aren't any major flaws I noticed), but I'd like to hear others' opinions. Excuse any 'obvious' mistakes I seem to have made, I'm a little new.

Roserade @ Focus Sash @ Natural Cure
Timid
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

- Sleep Powder
- Toxic Spikes
- Leaf Storm
- HP Fire

Standard Roserade Toxic Spikes lead: Sleep Powder, Toxic Spikes, and switch. Can be used to absorb opposing Toxic Spikes that could otherwise cripple a defensive team, if she survives. Fears Taunt leads, but with the right prediction, Leaf Storm can KO many of them.

Spr_4p_134.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spe

- Surf
- Wish
- Protect
- HP Electric

Vaporeon's a good wall (and Wisher), and combined with Gliscor, covers many offensive threats. Also a good switch-in to water or ice attacks aimed at Heatran, Gliscor, or Tyranitar with its water immunity and above average special bulk. Wish can be especially useful to heal Roserade, who will likely be at 1 HP (if alive at all) after setting up two layers of Toxic Spikes.

Gliscor @ Leftovers @ Sand Veil
Jolly
252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe

- Earthquake
- Taunt
- U-Turn
- Roost

Gliscor stops recovering walls with Taunt, while recovering with Roost. Earthquake for an attacking move. U-turn escapes with a bit of damage against Psychics or anything that makes Earthquake undesirable, while temporarily protecting whatever comes in if Gliscor is slower. Appreciates Tyranitar's sandstorm to activate Sand Veil.

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Jolly
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Superpower

Tyranitar and Gliscor support each other well, with Tyranitar's Sand Stream activating Gliscor's Sand Veil, and Tyranitar using its boosted Special Defense to take ice attacks intended for Gliscor (that is, if vaporeon isn't an option). Plus, Sandstorm support is always appreciated when 2/3 of the team is immune to it. Covers threats uncovered by Vaporeon and Gliscor, like Gengar, Starmie, and Zapdos.

Spr_4d_330.png

Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Naive
252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Outrage
- Thunderpunch

Provides a rock resistance and checks Infernape. Thunderpunch surprises and can check Gyarados, scoring a kill instead of the switch that Vaporeon can force. Flygon's plethora of resistances goes well in a toxic spikes team, and U-turn is always good for stalling.

Spr_4d_485.png

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Naive
4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Dragon Pulse

This covers the lack of specially offensive power nicely, while also revenge killing effectively. Heatran also serves as a great partner to Roserade, that is, if she can survive. Heatran can switch in on Roserade's threats like Jirachi and other steel types, destroying them with STAB fire-type attacks.

Despite having three scarfers, it really doesn't seem to be detrimental.
So, yeah. Thanks for any help.

to help with overall synergy and set-up, try CroCune >> Vaporeon and Breloom >> Roserade. Use TTar or Heatran lead. I suggest TTar has heatran makes a good Revenge killer. Gliscor, heatran, and TTar lure waters for crocune to set-up on, he lures electric to soak up by gliscor or TTar. Cune lures grass for Heatran to soak or Breloom to set-up on. Very nice synergy.

3 scarfers isn't good. By using TTar lead, you have a special revenge killer and a physical one.

Use Fire Blast >> T-punch on flygon. T-punch doesn't really help.

That seems like a little too much change for me. Maybe I'll try CroCune, but your other suggestions seem like a little too much.

But I'll try Fire Blast instead of Thunderpunch.

I know i changed like 1/2 ur team but it does help with synergy a lot, synergy is VERY important on any team.

Try out 1 pokemon and if it works try out another. If it doesn't work keep the one you have and use process of elimination to get the best team.

It appears to me as if this team could greatly benefit from a few good changes and suggestions, so here is what I would like to tell you, Lucas755. To begin with, your team in general seems to be fairly solid and containing very good Pokemon and movesets, however, there is a somewhat large number of details that can be fixed for the sake of making this team a bit more efficient. Analyzing each one of the components that conform the team, the first thing to underline is that the use of three Choice Scarf Pokemon isn't really helping overall, not because it's something terribly bad, but because it is not precisely needed. I want to suggest changing Heatran's role and using a Substitute variant instead, I will list the details below:

Timid / Naive nature
Evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Fire Blast | Earth Power | Substitute | Toxic / Explosion

As I mentioned above, there's currently no need to use so many Choice Scarfs on your team's Pokemon, and Heatran's precisely was indeed a waste in my opinion, as using it didn't mean to "gain" anything remarkable or similarly plausible. However, SubTran offers a very different possibility to use Heatran when compared to the Choice Scarf set, and considering that it loves Toxic Spikes support (which this team has) I believe that you'll experiment no troubles at all when testing it on the ladder. The combination of Substitute + Toxic helps Heatran to knock down bulky Water-type Pokemon such as Gyarados, who can escape from the menace that Toxic Spikes pose to said types and hence attempt to set up Dragon Dance or simply attack your Pokemon. Explosion in tandem with a Naive nature can be used in order to mainly lure Blissey and kill her off in a single hit, while it can also serve as a last resort on different occasions. You can find here the rest of the details concerning SubTran.

On the other hand, I strongly consider you to utilize Stealth Rock instead of U-turn on Gliscor, since this change, beyond the shadow of a doubt, will considerably help your team in its quest to defeat every opponent that it gets to face. SR is pretty much a must on every competitive team, because simply having the opportunity to score some damage to your opponent every turn that a switch is made is, at the very least, excellent. Everything else looks fine IMO, just don't forget to run Jolly instead of Naive if ThunderPunch is your fourth move on Flygon ;)

Good luck with your team.
