Lopunny @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Close Combat
- Return
- U-turn

Mega Lopunny outspeeds and KOs Specially Defensive Ferrothorn with a bit of chip, while it does a large chunk to Physically Defensive ones. However, it doesn't like Body Press or Thunder Wave, so it's a check.

252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 242-288 (68.7 - 81.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Ferrothorn: 320-380 (90.9 - 107.9%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Zard-Y comes in on a Spike / Leech Seed / Knock Off and threatens the opposition with a Flamethrower. I'd say it's a check because it still fears Thunder Wave if they predict you coming in aggressively.

Reuniclus has a lot of stuff going for it that makes it such a great ferrothorn counter, namely essentially an immunity to leech seed via it's ability magic guard, able tank it's hit well while staying healthy with recover and most importantly, ability to threaten sweeps via calm mind that's coupled with it's enermous bulk making it one of the most dangerous sweeper, and ferrothorn is one of it's biggest set up fodder

0 Atk Ferrothorn Power Whip vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Reuniclus: 111-132 (26.1 - 31.1%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Mega Altaria, due to its good defensive typing, is able to eat Surging Strikes and CCs comfortably, even after rocks, with the given EV spread. It also does not care about Thunder Punch, so this mon is a counter.
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 36+ Def Altaria-Mega: 119-141 (33.6 - 39.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Tapu Lele is a check to Urshifu-R. It can't switch-in because it is KOed by Surging Strikes. However, it outspeeds and KOs Urshifu with Thunderbolt, while also block Urshifu's Aqua Jet.

252 SpA Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike in Psychic Terrain: 578-684 (169.5 - 200.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tapu Lele on a critical hit: 354-417 (125.9 - 148.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Ability: Contrary
EVs: 56 HP / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Leech Seed

A pretty standard serp, with sub seed this snake have enough longevity to check urshifu in a long game, with enough power to actually ko it. Aqua jet doesn't really do significant damage to it

200 SpA Serperior Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 422-500 (123.7 - 146.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Aqua Jet vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Serperior: 51-60 (16.7 - 19.6%) -- possible 7HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

and yes i'm finally submitting a check after 10 cycles of not doing so. btw why does nobody break any ties for the last 3 months i think everyone just forgot about it lol.

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers

EVs: 248 HP / 128 Def / 68 SpD / 64 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Whirlpool
- Nature's Madness
- Taunt
- Moonblast
This set counters Urshifu pretty nicely. Moonblast kills it and all of the moves the shifu uses in Competitive Pokemon is not very effective to it i.e., it survives all hits from Urshifu
