Congratulations to ChrisPBacon for winning the Check side of this week!
Require a tiebreak on counter, and funnily enough, still require one for week one! So would appreciate if someone could break those, would be awesome! <3

This week our victim will be Mega-Lopunny!

:ss/lopunny-mega:

How will you punish this mon? Submissions end Friday!

Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Close Combat
- Frustration
- Triple Axel

Edit: deleted the unrelated stuff since i forgot to check the set and added counter

Counter: Toxapex:toxapex: :rocky-helmet:

Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet
Level: 100
Bold Nature
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Toxic Spikes

A pretty standard toxapex, you can aggresively switch in, since lopunny can't quite hurt it reliably. After recovering to the safe zone toxapex can either fire off a scald that would cripple most switch ins with burns or set up toxic spikes. Having regenerator means that toxapex can last throughout a game easily and doesn't need to constantly recover off damage. There's also a bonus advantage in that toxapex also dominates one of the bunny's favourite partner, weavile.

252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 140+ Def Toxapex: 100-118 (32.8 - 38.8%) -- 99.2% chance to 3HKO

252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 140+ Def Toxapex: 100-118 (32.8 - 38.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
IVs: 0 Spe
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Future Sight

Slowbro efficiently walls Lopunny with the help of Rocky Helmet recoil damage, possibility of burning with Scald, and OHKOing with Future Sight while taking minimal damage from its most effective move Frustration.

252 Atk Lopunny-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 117-138 (29.6 - 35%) -- 13.4% chance to 3HKO

4 SpA Slowbro Future Sight vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Lopunny-Mega: 270-318 (99.6 - 117.3%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

Voting is up! I will just remind those submitting that you must specify whether your submission is a check or counter, as from now on it will not be counted as a valid submission. These are exceptions as they are all obvious counters.

- Seismic Toss

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey in Sun: 241-285 (33.7 - 39.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey: 160-190 (22.4 - 26.6%) -- 24.4% chance to 4HKO

You can just Seismic Toss + Soft-Boiled spam or stall out sun and Roost with Toxic + Soft Boiled.

Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SpD

This can stomach at least 2 scorching sands from mega charizard y from full.
Calcs:

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Scorching Sands vs. 252 HP / 120 SpD Toxapex: 122-144 (40.1 - 47.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 120 SpD Toxapex: 103-122 (33.8 - 40.1%) -- 33.6% chance to 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 120 SpD Toxapex in Sun: 106-126 (34.8 - 41.4%) -- 71.1% chance to 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

Come in, setup and opponent is in trouble. Latias is bulky enough to take all of the hits needed from mega zard y while being faster, meaning it can still take on zard y even if the fire blast crits on the switch. Sure it has some problems with pursuit but no counters are perfect. And for something as nuclear as zard y this is already enough.

252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Latias-Mega in Sun: 110-130 (30.2 - 35.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

I didn't want this to be my third week of submitting pex i barely even use it myself but looks like someone posted pex while i was in the middle of writing this

Both these sets effectively prevent mega medi from doing anything, though mega medi could utilize recover alongside cleric support to outlast the second set where poltergeist allows you to KO it without any risks and drain hits drill ttar and weavile and gren for decent damage though it has no use without the spdef evs, i am submitting these as counter, the spdef allows you to survive hydro from ash-gren if necessary but could be put to another stat

This alien is one of the best counters to mega medicham as the pure psychic typing allows it to resist the dual STAB of mega medicham while not crumbling to any of it's coverage, in this case thunder punch. You pretty much only fear a thunder punch para hax or good double switches by mega medicham with stealth rocks up. You can opt for rocky helmet to wear down mega medicham or other physical attackers quickly if you are confident that you aren't gonna get outplayed too much, otherwise leftovers is better while providing passive recovery that helps to deal with other threats that aren't making contact while slightly reducing the need to constantly recover against mega medicham in the long run.

252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 4+ Def Deoxys-Defense: 106-126 (34.8 - 41.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def

Calcs:

252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Thunder Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Aegislash-Shield: 78-92 (24 - 28.3%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Aegislash-Shield: 62-73 (19.1 - 22.5%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

Easy 1v1 aegi always win from full, not to mention that it can always go for the king's shield and drop medicham's attack down so it is harder to worn down
