DD Dragonite(HDB)
Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dual Wingbeat
- Fire Punch
- Roost
No HP ice so we can't be RKilled by thundy even if we don't OHKO it as we have roost. Come in on scizor, dragon dance up and light up the stage with fire punches as we outspeed both mons.
btw calculator is bugged as it doesn't comply for the fact that boots ignores rocks, causing multiscale not having any effect but i'm not changing some calcs involving rollssince i don't want to waste another 20 mins
Calculation Notes:
Full HP - 323
Roost healing - 161
60+ Atk Scizor U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Multiscale Dragonite: 28-33 (8.6 - 10.2%) -- possibly the worst move ever
60+ Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Multiscale Dragonite: 49-58 (15.1 - 17.9%) -- possible 6HKO
60 Atk Scizor Savage Spin-Out (140 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Multiscale Dragonite: 51-61 (15.7 - 18.8%) -- possible 6HKO

+1 252 Atk Dragonite Fire Punch vs. 248 HP / 0+ Def Scizor: 456-540 (132.9 - 157.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
No +2 Bullet punch and +2 Savage Spin-Out against broken multiscale because the only way to have that happen is miclickNote: first calc is for when thundy attacks as dnite roosts

Most of the sequnce listed are worst case scenarios after T1(opponent gets perfect predict)
Sequence 1: U-turn on DD(T1) ==> Tbolt on Fire Punch(T2) ==> Tbolt on roost(T3) ==> Fire Punch to KO Thundy(T4) ==> Fire Punch on BP(T4/ending)
Calcs: 33(Multiscale shielded U-turn) + 189(Tbolt) - 161(roost) + 126(Psychic) + 117(Bullet Punch) = 304(Total damage taken)
304(Total damage taken) < 323(Full HP)Sequence 2: SD on DD(T1) ==> Fire Punch on Bullet Punch to KO Scizor(T2) ==> Fire Punch on Tbolt(T3) ==> Fire Punch to KO Thundy(T4/Ending)
Calcs: 115(Multiscale shielded +2 Bullet Punch) + 189(Tbolt) = 304(Total damage taken)
304(Total damage taken) < 323(Full HP)The situation here could get a bit messy so i've splitted the two possibilities
Sequence 3: Savage Spin-Out on DD(T1) ==> Seperation Point(T2)
Calcs: 323(Full HP) - 61(Multiscale shielded Savage Spin-Out) = 262(HP Remaining)
Sequence 3a: SD on Roost(T2) ==> Fire Punch on BP ==> Tbolt on Fire Punch ==> Tbolt to kill Thundy
Calcs: 261(HP left on T1) + 161(Roost Heal) = 323(Back to full HP)
115(Multiscale shielded +2 Bullet Punch) + 189(Tbolt) = 304(Total damage taken)
304(Total damage taken) < 323(Full HP)Sequence 3b: Under ConstructionSequence 4: U-turn on DD(T1) ==> Volt Switch on Fire Punch(T2) ==> Fire Punch on Bullet Punch to KO Scizor(T3) ==> Fire Punch to KO Thundy(T4/Ending)
Calcs: 33(Multiscale shielded U-turn) + 147(Volt Switch) + 117(Bullet Punch) = 238(Total damage taken)
I am such a no life btw because my exams starts at 8th of August and here i am doing shit with my time.
Azelf @ Psychium Z
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Knock Off
- U-turn
I was unable to think of a mon able to switch into both of these mons while threatening them, so I settled for one that can OHKO both. Psychium Z Azelf is easily the best mon able to do so, and has recently become one of my favourite sets in the tier as a whole. Somewhat surprisingly, Azelf comfortably eats Sciz BP and is very likely to live +2, although allowing Azelf to take +2 BP is normally a mistake. Flamethrower always kills Scizor, and Z Psychic always kills Thundurus.
252 SpA Azelf Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 192 SpD Scizor: 372-440 (108.4 - 128.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Azelf Shattered Psyche (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Thundurus-Therian: 333-393 (111.3 - 131.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
60+ Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Azelf: 126-148 (43.2 - 50.8%) -- 4.7% chance to 2HKO
Infernape @ Choice Band
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- Gunk Shot
- U-turn
252 Atk Choice Band Infernape Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Thundurus-Therian: 337-397 (112.7 - 132.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Infernape Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Scizor: 1008-1188 (358.7 - 422.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO (chip)
Voting is up! Sorry for the delay, was busy so It will go until MONDAY MORNING EST!
Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Nasty Plot
Rotom-Heat resists the entirety of the core's moves except Psychic on Thundurus-Therian, which isn't even STAB. Rotom-Heat sets up Nasty Plot on both Pokemon freely and only needs to do it once on Thundurus-Therian but would want to do it twice on Scizor to ensure an OHKO on Thundurus-T switching in. Nothing else to say except that missing Overheat would be extremely unfortunate.
252 SpA Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 248 HP / 192 SpD Scizor: 712-840 (207.5 - 244.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Thundurus-Therian: 220-259 (73.5 - 86.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Thundurus-Therian: 438-516 (146.4 - 172.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
