Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

The actual dark type for the job. Get a free against deoxys defense, Swords dance then click buttons according to situation.

After SD click Knock once, if deo was in and died, then click iron head on golt(ban btw i hate the amount of hax it brings to the tier). Otherwise click knock 2 more times and it should still work.

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Iron Head vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Moltres-Galar: 398-468 (103.9 - 122.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Moltres-Galar: 239-282 (62.4 - 73.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Very simple strategy. Setup on Skarmory and 2ko, then hit Gastrodon with a OHKO.
Core's gone and you've now become a dangerous sweeper.

252 SpA Azelf Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 256-302 (76.6 - 90.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Azelf Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 510-600 (152.6 - 179.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Azelf Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gastrodon: 316-372 (74.1 - 87.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Azelf Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gastrodon: 624-736 (146.4 - 172.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Changed to Celesteela
But I rechecked the rules; there's no rule that prevents you from voting yourself here.

Smh if it's really not part of it then it's my fault since most projects don't allow that anyways so i presumed it being so

Alright It's been a long hiatus but I am actually free from most things and we can finally resume!

Our winner last time was probably Celesteela so congrats to GiyuForPresident!

Our new core will be Thundurus-Therian + Scizor, a strong Volt-Turn core with our new suspect underway!

:ss/thundurus-therian: + :ss/scizor:

How will YOU break this core?

Scizor @ Buginium Z

I'll leave submissions open until around Monday morning EST so we can get back on schedule.

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Nasty Plot

Rotom-Heat resists the entirety of the core's moves except Psychic on Thundurus-Therian, which isn't even STAB. Rotom-Heat sets up Nasty Plot on both Pokemon freely and only needs to do it once on Thundurus-Therian but would want to do it twice on Scizor to ensure an OHKO on Thundurus-T switching in. Nothing else to say except that missing Overheat would be extremely unfortunate.

252 SpA Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 248 HP / 192 SpD Scizor: 712-840 (207.5 - 244.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Azelf @ Psychium Z
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Knock Off
- U-turn

I was unable to think of a mon able to switch into both of these mons while threatening them, so I settled for one that can OHKO both. Psychium Z Azelf is easily the best mon able to do so, and has recently become one of my favourite sets in the tier as a whole. Somewhat surprisingly, Azelf comfortably eats Sciz BP and is very likely to live +2, although allowing Azelf to take +2 BP is normally a mistake. Flamethrower always kills Scizor, and Z Psychic always kills Thundurus.

252 SpA Azelf Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 192 SpD Scizor: 372-440 (108.4 - 128.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Azelf Shattered Psyche (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Thundurus-Therian: 333-393 (111.3 - 131.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dual Wingbeat
- Fire Punch
- Roost

No HP ice so we can't be RKilled by thundy even if we don't OHKO it as we have roost. Come in on scizor, dragon dance up and light up the stage with fire punches as we outspeed both mons.
btw calculator is bugged as it doesn't comply for the fact that boots ignores rocks, causing multiscale not having any effect but i'm not changing some calcs involving rolls since i don't want to waste another 20 mins
Calculation Notes:
Full HP - 323
Roost healing - 161

60+ Atk Scizor U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Multiscale Dragonite: 28-33 (8.6 - 10.2%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Note: first calc is for when thundy attacks as dnite roosts

252 SpA Thundurus-Therian Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Dragonite: 80-94 (24.7 - 29.1%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO

Most of the sequnce listed are worst case scenarios after T1(opponent gets perfect predict)
Sequence 1: U-turn on DD(T1) ==> Tbolt on Fire Punch(T2) ==> Tbolt on roost(T3) ==> Fire Punch to KO Thundy(T4) ==> Fire Punch on BP(T4/ending)
Calcs:

Sequence 2: SD on DD(T1) ==> Fire Punch on Bullet Punch to KO Scizor(T2) ==> Fire Punch on Tbolt(T3) ==> Fire Punch to KO Thundy(T4/Ending)
Calcs:
115(Multiscale shielded +2 Bullet Punch) + 189(Tbolt) = 304(Total damage taken)
304(Total damage taken) < 323(Full HP)

Sequence 3b: Under Construction
