New and 'creative' moveset/EV spread thread - BW UU Edition

According to Bulbapedia, Hustle does not lower the accuracy of Special or Status moves.

Togekiss @ Life Orb
Brave/Quiet
Hustle
252 Atk/252 SpA/4 Spe
-Work Up
-ExtremeSpeed
-Air Slash
-Aura Sphere/Roost

Work Up is amazing on this set, boosting both ExtremeSpeed and Togekiss' special moves. Hustle boosted +1 STAB ExtremeSpeed stings:

Versus flygon: 93% - 110%
Versus staraptor: 99.7% - 117.7%
Versus heracross: 97.7% - 115.2%
Versus raikou: 91.6% - 107.8%

Basically anything faster than Togekiss that can one-shot it gets taken out by ExtremeSpeed, while Air Slash does a number on slower walls. I mean, it has stone edge level accuracy, but people rely on Focus Blast so...

Brave/Quiet is mostly used to preserve Togekiss' bulk. Even with a -spe nature Togekiss still ties/outruns base 70s like Hitmontop and below. You can also use Lonely/Mild I guess. Aura Sphere lets you handle Rhyperior and Registeel much easier, while Roost can help shrug off the LO and SR damage. You can also pass this a shell smash if you really want to make your opponent rage.

Loves paralysis support. Needs SR to get most of its kills. Pairs well with Celebi.

Evidently, you're not the only one to support Hustlekiss.

how about this?

togekiss @ choice band
adamant, hustle
4hp 252attk 252spd
-extremespeed
-drain punch
-aerial ace
-roost/zen headbutt

With a base 50 Atk, you'd probably have a better shot at loosing Choice Band in favor of Muscle Band, and dropping Roost/Zen Headbutt in favor of Psych Up or Work Up.

Even then it would be extremely questionable.

I find that Togekiss really appreciates Roost, but of course someone else may favor the stat boost from Work Up. Though if Choice Band is wanted, it might as well have 4 attacking moves.

Pelliper @ Leftovers
Calm, Rain Dish
252 Hp, 4 Def, 252 SpDef
-Aqua Ring
-Roost
-Toxic/Hurricane/Air Slash
-Protect/Toxic

A stall type set for Pelliper? Could this be viable?

shouldnt pelliper carry rain dance? otherwise, your ability is useless unless you're willing to constantly switch in and out, and being sr weak isnt really helping pelliper there.

My favorite that is on 90% of my teams is my mixed Mienshao

Mienshao/Ninja'd@Life Orb
Naive,Regenerator
~Hi Jump Kick
~Grass Knot
~U-Turn
~HP Ice
EVs 252 Spe / 252 SpA / 4 Atk

I love this thing mostly because it is so unexpected. It can lead and sweep and it has many times. A lot people will expect something like Fake Out and switch to for example Milotic. Boom Grass Knot. Also U-turn plus regenerator is really cool as well. I blind sided a lead Gliscor (HP Ice) with it before that was very satisfying. This is my main sweeper and pairs well with my Def Milotic.

No.

This whole thread should be only for UU discussion. Anything regarding any kind of OU thought should actually be deleted (coughDSTmodscough).

Mienshao is only UU in usage for August. When combined with the stats from May and June, Mienshao will not be UU during the next tier changes, nor should anybody even be able to play with Mienshao on the ladder.

I have another fun set for a UU/RU pokemon, and it's guaranteed to cause your opponent trouble:

Rampardos @ Focus Sash
252 SpAtk/252 Spe/4 Atk
Rash / Mold Breaker

Stealth Rock
Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt/Earthquake

Purely for fun set. Stealth Rock on a Rampardos sounds retarded, but it's one of two Mold Breaker pokemon that learns it, which means you can set up hazards against MB Xatu (or espeon, if you're crazy for ou). Basically, this is for when you absolutely MUST get SR up, because nobody is stupid enough to taunt a rampardos. Attacks get good coverage, and going mixed has viability, as ice beam can 2hko donphan and thunderbolt can 2hko slowbro, which can help in paving the way for a victini to sweep. He has a great movepool, so you can really pick anything for the last two slots such as Surf/Fire Blast for special, or eq/zen headbutt/crunch/superpower/head smash/etc. for physical.

This is based off of a samurott set I saw.

Empoleon (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SAtk / 96 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Roar

Wall Breaker setup. I'm thinking I should just take those speed ev's and put them into HP or special defense since it doesn't make a huge difference.
Hydro Pump for the obvious very hard hitting STAB boosted attack. Grass knot and Ice Beam both give excellent coverage. Roar is to send away anything you don't think you can k0 quickly whilst its setting up.

Needs moar Clefable in here.

Clefable @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP 88 Def 168 Speed (Can change speed to SpD if you feel you need more bulk on your team, this outspeeds 80 base non-EVed/Scarfed)
Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
- Magic Coat
- Counter
- Softboiled/Wish/Healing Wish
- Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/Flamethrower(Whichever coverage you feel you need)

Personally I run Heal Bell in the 4th slot as it is my cleric.

Basically this is one of the trolliest anti-leads for UU. Magic coat is enough to stop them from using any non-attacking move on you once they've seen it, and you can often reflect their own taunt back at them. Clefable is generally bulky on the Special Defensive side and they will often swap out to a physical attacker. That's where they've fallen for the trap. If they aren't behind a sub you will be able to take them down with counter and reliably not die thanks to the focus sash. Entry/Status Immunity should mean your sash is intact and you can anticipate the switch and heal back to full health.

The defense EVs are there just to provide some longevity, and most importantly to reliably live from Spinner Hitmontop's Close combat, as he may break your sash with a rapid spin.

- Roar

Erm, aren't wall breakers typically mixed attackers? This is just a special attacker that can't get past some of the most popular walls in the game in Chansey/Snorlax.

Samurott (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SAtk / 96 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Roar Taunt

Wall Breaker setup...

If you take out Roar (rather useless on offensive mons without recovery unless you have layers of hazards and magical prediction), you have a slot open for taunt--generic special walls like Chansey don't exactly love getting taunted, so this is better for 'breaking stall,' per se. Though I'm afraid that Hydro Pump might not do enough to outdamage Seismic Toss, you'll make Chansey get to low enough health, and that's good enough really. Might consider Life Orb too.

EDIT: ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fixed... i just ctrl-c'd.

Major problem with the set though

Empoleon doesn't get taunt

EDIT: Disregard this, I thought it was actually for Empoleon. Instead it's just a Samurott named "Empoleon", which is pretty confusing but w/e

Sableye (Ø) @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Trait: Prankster
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp. Def
~ Snarl (STAB Snarl ftw!)
~ Calm Mind
~ Will-O-Wisp
~ Recover

Lanturn @ Leftovers
Calm Nature
Trait: Volt Absorb
Ev's: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Def
~ Volt Switch
~ Heal Bell
~ Rest
~ Sleep Talk

Jumpluff @ Flying Gem
Jolly Nature
Trait: Chlorophyll
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
~ Sleep Powder
~ Swords Dance (YESH! XD)
~ Acrobatics
~ Seed Bomb

Let's see:
Snarl is illegal on sableye
that lanturn looks pretty awful
and why would you use jumpluff? it is almost 100% inferior to tornadus, bar sleep powder.
