Hey, time-wise i'm not new here, but I'm only just starting to get into the community and such. I've been on a couple other forums, and I've found one thing that works really well to keep people active is to have a new members topic, where new members can make a thread and insert themselves into the community right away.
Obviously this wouldn't be a requirement, but I just think it would help new members stick around longer, and maybe new battlers get some goods solid roots in the competitive pokemon scene.
Thoughts/discussion below.
