New Price is Right Host: Like him or not?

For those who loved the show Price is Right (I sure did), I'm sure many of you have heard of the news, but I want to share it and hear your opinions.

Drew Carey, host of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, will be the new host starting fall 2007. Now Bob Barker was no comedian, but he was a legend no doubt.

What do you guys think?
 
FYI, in I forgot to post my opinion...

I think he will make to be a good host, so long as he isn't cracking jokes every 30 seconds or something. Will he be the next Bob Barker? No. Will he make to be a decent replacement? Of course!
 
Yeah, I guess thats my one scare. If he constantly makes jokes it will take away from all the funny old women making ridiculous price guesses.
 
Drew Carey was probably the best they would get, better than Mario Lopez, Rosie, or whoever else was supposed to be it. No one can ever replace Bob or Rod but Drew is an excellent guy, and I think he fits into price is Right perfectly, I mean all the contestants are average joes and Drew Carey always seemed like an average joe guy to me.
 
For me, it's gonna be weird to see someone else hosting it. I think cause Drew Carey seems too.... young? Well compared to Bob Barker. I do hope he turns out to be a great host.
 
Wow, I just can't see Drew Carey hosting a serious game show like that. Is he still going to let all of the old ladies kiss him, or tell us to control the pet population? I see the show being a lot different.
 
Oh wow Drew Carey, I never watched Price is Right that often but my Mom does. She said that she wouldn't watch it if Rosie was the host >_> so this is good news to her.

I think that's one of the major differences I see happening. I don't think Carey will do everything Bob has been known to do...Honestly I can picture him cracking jokes during a game or something and overdoing it (not that he's a bad comedian)

Like Bob would say something witty from time to time and that was fine.
