An ideal stall team would have : All three kinds of spikes, sandstorm, a status absorber, a spinner, a spin blocker, every major threat countered, wish support, revenge killing, and a lot of phazing. Of course it's near impossible to have all of that. I want you to RMT, and help me achieve that.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I PLAY WITH THIS TEAM ON BOTH OFFICIAL AND SYCLANT SERVERS.

I haven't written an RMT thread lately and I really wanted to write a new one. The four Pokémon I'm considering for my team would fill a certain role on my squad. The hippo would provide physical walling, phazing, stealth rocking, and sandstorm. Dusknoir would counter a few things like gyarados, heracross and be a great spin blocker. Forretress could provide spin support, toxic spikes and spikes. Spirit could be restalking, statusing, taunting and spin blocking. Hariyama could be phazing and knock off support, weavile and t-tar killing, along with paralysis support or restalking. I DO LACK A SPIN BLOCKER, i JUST HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO PUT IT.

Bronzong @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/144 Def/112 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion / light screen / reflect / earthquake / hp electric

Bronzong is an excellent starter and a great support pokemon. The nature and set are quite standard. The ev spread is a little odd, but with those EVs it shakes off any of mamo and tyranitar's attacks. I find that i almost never use explosion, when im down to about 20% hp I find that I get koed quite easy. The lum berry is for beating gengar, yanmega, roserade and other bronzong leads. The last move is up in the air, like I said, bronzong seems to never get the chance to hit the suicide button, so I'm thinking of putting in a support move, a gyara killing move or a move that will destroy any heatran switch ins. If rhyperior usage goes up, bronzong will pack Grass Knot.

dpfba242.png

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Ev's: 84 HP/252 Def/172 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Flamethrower

Ah, Blissey this thing is on almost on any stall team. It counters too much, it has nearly unbreakable SDef and decent Def. The EV spread on Blissey generates a good leftovers number, amazing SDef and decent defence. The move set is pretty standard. Aromatherapy because after t-spikes thunderwave doesnt hit much and i dont have a restalker so aromatherapy is a great move. Seismic toss and Softboiled are obvious, they heal and do some damage. Flamethrower is there because this team has no shortage of ice moves, and I have seen a great rise in skarms and them setting up on me is troublesome, it nails syclant aswell.
dpfba073.png

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
Ev's: 252 HP/136 Def/120 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Beam
- Surf

Tentacruel is a great spinner, and toxic spiker. He is a great counter for mix ape, syclant and a few others. I really don't want to change this guy. The Ev spread is fairly standard, It hits 200 defence, great SDef and some good HP. Ice beam and surf are also fairly standard here, surf is for some STAB, ice beam is so this guy has a chance at beating mix mence, also nailing the more common sub seeders who think they can kill me, but liquid ooze hurts them. GO SQUIDY!

dpmba251.png

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/148 Def/36 Spd/72 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Ice] or [Fire] / substitute
- Perish Song / reflect / u-turn / thunderwave / leech seed / calm mind

Lol, look at that long list of moves to use, I have no idea which to use. Grass knot and recover are needed, hidden power ice is there to nail garchomp, fire may be put there for steels such as forretress. Substitute if I decide to turn this guy into a sub seeder. Perish song is for phazing, reflect for phsyical beasts like tyranitar, u-turn for switches, thunderwave for paralysis support, leech seed for healing of teammates and myself, calm mind for a way stronger Grass knot and so that an ice beam cant 2 hit me. The EV spread is fine, out runs adamant t-tar and can either reflect or grass knot it, gets 101 subs, 300 defence and hits about 40% on gyarados.
dpmba145.png

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Ev's: 252 HP/212 Def/44 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Roar
- Roost
- Thunderbolt

Zapdos is amazing, he is a phazer, gyarados counter (kinda), garchomp killer, and a great pressure staller. With only 2 weaknesses he is able to stall and wall pretty well. The Ev spread is fairly standard, pretty good bulk some decent attacking stats and a good leftovers number. The move set is fairly standard as well, good coverage and phazing. Zapdos is a good Pokémon, but can be replaced.

dpmba472.png

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
Ev's: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
-U-turn
- Roost
- Ice Fang / aerial ace

Gliscor! woot. Gliscor is great, he counters problematic things like luke, heracross and garchomp (too some extent). The moveset is quite standard and doesn't really need any tweaking. Ice fang is the more practical thing here but aerial ace is there so something like SDcross doesnt beat me. U-turn is for those extremely obvious switches. The EV spread is quite standard, no tweaking needed here..

Threat List

Tyranitar - Bronzong, gliscor(when it lacks ice beam). GLiscor U-turning into bronzong is quite fun.

Gyarados - Celebi lols at it hitting a nice 40% on it with GK.

Infernape - Tentacruel (mixed), zapdos(CB)

Azelf - Spiritomb, blissey

Electivire - Bronzong for any pure physical version. The mix version will not be sweeping my team, so im not worried.

Heracross - Gliscor, a sinch.

Salamence - Any physical version is taken on by gliscor and zappy, mix mence somewhat by tentacruel, and specsmence by blissey

Togekiss - Zapdos, blissey

Gengar - Blissey, bronzong can ko it gyro ball.

Garchomp - Zapdos, gliscor.

Lucario - Specs luke by blissey(flamethrower eats it, and with blissey huge sdef aura sphere is a 3 hit ko) . SD luke by gliscor.

Starmie - Blissey

Weavile - Bronzong

Dugtrio - Gliscor

PorygonZ - bronzong gobbles up any tri attack, and blissey

Machamp - gliscor, zapdos.

Snorlax - Perish song from celebi is great. Zapdos phazes it easily.

Zapdos - Blissey kills any non roosting versions. Celebi perish songs, and subseeds into oblivion(if using that set).

Suicune - Zapdos.

Breloom - Zapdos, gliscor.

Slaking - bronzong, gliscor.

Ninjask - Glisor, Zapdos

Metagross - Glsicor, zapdos

Heatran - Blissey, tentacruel.

Jirachi - Zapdos smacks it around, and pressure stalls it. Gliscor eats it with EQ.

Dragonite - Any physical versions are taken down easy by gliscor. Mix can be taken out by tentacruel, and specs by blissey. Zapdos can also stop it's sweep.

Mamoswine - Bronzong's gyro ball eats it.

Gallade - Gliscor to any non ice punchers, bronzongs gyro ball will eat it, close combat's defense drop does not help gallade's cause.

Yanmega - Blissey, zapdos

Kingdra - Tentacruel?

Roserade - tentacruel laughs at it and eats up toxic spikes. As a starter, bronzong beats it with its lum berry. Blissey can aroma away any status

Scizor - Zapdos and gliscor.

Thanks for reading and now PLEASE, RMT.

Something that should be pointed out: Blissey is not a kingdra counter. Kingdra can 2HKO blissey with waterfall in the rain.
Other than that, not much I can say, I haven't seen tomb as a lead much, I like it.

^You should have posted suggestions in what to replace it with then in that case.

Anyways congrats this looks like a really solid team the only thing I can actually offer advice on is that you should run AA>Ice Fang. I'll post again(or edit) if I think of something new.

~edit~ One more thing due to the fact that you run TSpikes I suggest you run ATherapy on Bliss over TWave/Sing much more useful imo but the speed reduction provided by TWave is pretty useful as well. Feel free to consider wish as well on Bliss to help out with Tenta and Hari's lack of a self recovery move.

I'll throw aromatherapy on blissey and see what happens.

thanks for the suggestions guys =)

.. I wonder if i can fit spikes in there..

hmm... frosslass spin blocker... hmmm??

Wow, looks startlingly similar to my team! I have Porygon2, Celebi, Spiritomb, Salamence, Tentacruel and Lucario.

Here's my personal opinion:

-Celebi pwns. Get it in here. It counters Gyarados and Breloom, also stops Blissey very easily. Makes your opponent panic, and racks up SR and Toxic Spikes damage.

-Spiritomb wants 68 Satk, I did the calcs, and it does around 90-100% to Gengar. Same with Azelf. Pain Split is good too. I find Taunt is great, and forces even more switches, also beats CM Cress easily, Ice Beam is like a 8HKO without boosts, and it will run out of PP.

wow, thanks, ill take you advice on spiritomb.

I really want celebi but not sure where to put it... in the place of zappy? hmm

Celebi @ leftovers
{bold}
evs: 252 hp / 180 def / 36 speed / rest in satk
- HP ice / psychic
- Grass knot
- Perish song / reflect / u-turn / thunderwave / leech seed
- Recover

can actually beat garchomp with hp ice.. HP fire is for steels.

Umm, Zapdos isn't really a reliable Gyarados counter... BulkyGyara's Stone Edge does 61-71% to your Zapdos and DDGyara's Stone Edge does 74-88%. Factor in the ever common Stealth Rock and you've got yourself a problem. Not to mention Gyara can easily start setting up on Gliscor, Hariyama and Spiritomb.

To a lesser degree, Mamoswine rips through you as well. LO Mamo's Ice Fang does 65-76% (Ice Shard does 40-47%)against your Dos, whose choice of hidden power can barely dent the mammoth. LO Earthquake does 47-55% against Hariyama who has no form of recovery. Switching in will not be pleasant.

You have to remember, when using Gliscor, you have to have backup counters to Phys. Ice/Water attackers who can easily break the bat.

CeleGlis is a strong defensive duo, i've seen popping up on stronger teams and i'd suggest here. Celebi over Zapdos seems smart. Something like:

Celebi @ Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
Ev's: 252 HP/ 160 Def / 96 Spe
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Perish Song
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- HP Fire / Ice

You lack alot of elemental coverage, so a surprising HP on Celebi will allow you to surprise-kill many a Forry or Scizor. HP Ice works as well, for dragons and other grasses. Perish Song to force switches but replaces Zappy's role as a PHazer. Speed EVs allow you to outpace Adamant Mamoswines (Though Ice Shard will still bite hard) and finish it with Grass Knot.

I would get somthing better as a Gyrados counter. I like bulky waters, so you might consider Suicune, Milotic, or Swampert too. Tentacreul is a good choice though. You might want a Skarmory/Fortress instead of Gliscor, but I havnt had much experience with him...

Your current team of Zong, Bliss, Cruel, Zapdos, Gliscor, and Celebi is Mamo weak. Yes, it is Mamo weak, despite the fact that you have Zong. Why? Well, Zong is the only thing that stops Mamo 100% of the time, but by leading with it, your opponent instantly knows you carry Zong. A good battler will hold onto their Mamo for late game before revealing it, once Zong is gone. Even if they do show Mamo, Zong does not carry Lefties, thus even losing the occasional 6% to SR willl begin to add up. With aboslutely no recovery, he will eventually fall.

celebi makes mince-meat out of gyarados. Celebi comes in on anything and 3 hits it with grass knot. A double dragon danced stone edge hits about 65% which is not threatening, if gyarados doesnt taunt me it runs the risk of getting leech seeded, or reflected.

U could Wish Support (For Tentacruel). And since Tenta doesn't get any SP. A. Evs, you could use Hydro Pump over Surf b/c when it doesn't miss, it really does pack power against SE foes.

(142.5 x2 = 285 Damage... 180 x 2= 360 damage), so I suggest Hydro Pump.
