Nintendo's Giants

Well its been 2 full months since I joined smogon, and I would like to commemorate it by making a team that look/act like nintendo bosses. My first UU RMT, this offensive team has an 11W/7L ratio, and I know that there could be more appropriate members for my team to help them do better. So PLAY THE BOSS MUSIC (if they have one), here are Nintendo's Bosses!

In-Depth

Spire(Victini) @ Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature
Victory Star
4 HP / 252 Att / 252 Spe
-V-create
-Bolt Strike/Fusion Bolt
-U-Turn
-Zen Headbutt

First I had Victini as Grima (Fire emblem boss) but I thought it made almost no sense. So here is my lead. A basic one, Spire's Magmaul(V-create) deal high damage to most pokes, his Volt Driver(Bolt Strike) is for dealing with waters and possibly Snorlax, and lastly his Morph Ball mode(U-turn) is for scouting. Zen headbutt is a filler, I could some suggestions for a move there. Fusion bolt isn't really an option. Its just that in my game, I have no idea how to get the Bolt Striking one. Those moves also aren't colored yellow because it would be too hard to see.

Waterwraith.jpg
WaterWraith(Swampert) @Chesto Berry
Adamant Nature
Torrent
240 HP / 240 Att / 28 Def
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch
-Rest

This is my own Swampert set. He just deals damage and gets a second chance with rest. I am willing to completely change this set however, to provide some more defense, but so far, this set hasn't let me down very often. He covers Spire's Rock weakness.

images
Galacta Knight(Shaymin) @Petaya Berry
Timid Nature
Natural Cure
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
-Seed Flare
-Air Slash
-Earth Power
-Substitute

This ball of might can force some switches, making a sub+3 attacks set a nice idea. All these moves have good coverage together, except on Zapdos! It covers WaterWraith's grass weakness.

GigaBowser.jpg

GigaBowser(Scrafty) @Chople Berry
Adamant Nature
Shed Skin
192 HP / 116 Att / 200 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Rest
-Crunch
-Hi Jump Kick

At first, scrafty is just Bowser. However, when he reaches +2, he becomes Giga Bowser, outspeeding neutral base 85 speed scarfers by 1, and dealing good damage with his near-unresisted STABs. The HP Evs are so that hazards & weather deal the least damage. The rest are dumped into attack. HJK feels to be missing more in these simulators than in the game, but the excessive base power is much more needed than drain punches recovery. Speaking of recovery, he has a semi-reliable way with shed skin+rest.

images
Arceus(Cresselia) @leftovers
Bold Nature
Levitate
252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD
-Calm Mind
-Substitute
-Hidden Power Fighting
-Psyshock

Couldn't find a more suitable boss. Cress tanks hits very well, and almost always win in the CM war thanks to Psyshock. Substitute is more needed than Moonlight-it protects status and provides a safety buffer. Often times enemy CMers can't even break the sub when I CM with them. Its odd how I find it most useful in OU, decent in UU, and a bit struggling in Ubers. I could use a boss that better represents her so that kind of suggestion also helps :)

images
Molgera(Steelix) @Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Sheer Force
128 HP / 252 Att / 128 Def
-Earthquake
-Iron Head
-Crunch
-Thunder fang/roar/explosion

I have been countlessly for pokemon that resembles him. Drapion? Flygon? Now its Steelix. He patches up the rest of the type weaknesses my team has. His main job is just to deal damage before he dies. He usually gets to pull off a KO before he dies, so its all good. The EVs are for being a defensive wall at the same time. He also has an easier time against those un-stabbed fighting moves (honchkrow, ambipon, bisharp). Thunder Fang is for waters, though roar has some potential as it phases out Curselax, a problem to the team. Explosion? It is possible to be used, as it fits what Molgera is supposed to do. Before steelix, scarf Flygon had the role of Molgera. It made sense, but I thought scarf victini was much more needed. Don't hate on steelix, he complements my team fairly well.

Conclusion

So those are my bosses. I lack spinners, cleric and a phazer, so some suggestion (especially for a phaser and cleric) could help. lol could you imagine them fighting together? If you raters do have a replacement pokemon, it would be awesome if you had a boss character to name it off of. This has been another RMT by everbody, and have a splendiferous Summer!!!

Hey, this is a pretty cool team, and I like the nickname idea. Well done!

If you're looking for a good cleric I'd say the best ones in UU would probably either be Umbreon or Togekiss. Umbreon is probably more bulky but Togekiss can baton pass nasty plots (or even Work Up if you want an all-purpose passer) along with providing recovery with wish.
Also let's not forget Cresselia has Lunar Dance, its signature move, that fully restores any Pokemon at the sacrifice of it's user.
There's quite a few Pokemon that can phase, and one of them is actually on your team. If you change your Swampert set to Waterfall, Earthquake, Stealth Rock and Roar you'll be able to shuffle the opponent around how you see fit and stack up Stealth Rock damage. Since you seem to have good type synergy all around you're going to be able to force switches a lot of the time as well, dealing even more damage.

Also just for future reference make sure your description for each Pokemon is at least three typed lines so we can have more detail on why you use what you use to make our rates even better. Thank you!

Hey,

You're team lacks a good answer to Togekiss. It can flinch its way through Creselia and Steelix and the only thing you can hope for is that Kiss doesn't flinch you or it misses Air Slash, which isn't a good idea.

For this reason I suggest you try to fit a Zapdos on your team, probably instead of Steelix or Cress since they add to your Heracross weakness and it also deals with Crobat, another problem for your team.

Zapdos' Set:

Zapdos @Leftovers
258 HP / 236 Def / 24 Spe
Bold Nature
Trait: Pressure
-Thunderbolt
-Roost
-Hidden Power [Ice]/[Grass]
-Toxic/Roar/Heat Wave

I will happily change to that swampert set. I am having trouble figuring out who to replace for umbreon or togekiss. I'm thinking umbreon replaces scrafty, and togekiss replaces cress. I haven't really come across problems with togekiss because Scarftini outspeeds, and cress just instawalls it after 1 CM. Cress' subs also block flinch. Bulky Zapdos however still seems like a good idea, and I will try it

Thanks
