EDITED WITH BETTER DESCRIPTIONS
Changes:
Got rid of Ninjask replaced with gorebyss
Changed Arbok held item to Air Balloon
Changed Cacturne moveset
Changed Scarf for Specs on Shandera
Moved around EVs of Nosepass for better defense
Alright so I hate using OU pokemon for the sole reason that it's boring facing very similar teams every single time. I decided to just use UU and under in a team and make it work in OU.
Note: I use the english translated version of pokemon white since I hate the english names of the pokemon so somethings may be the translated names
This team needs work, mainly because I want this team to work with arbok. I am willing to replace everything except arbok as long as it is UU, BL2, RU, or NU. Though I would much rather find a replacement in NU.
Threatlist: Scizor(If Quaggy somehow dies early), Gliscor(only Shandera can own it in one go, then it is just a stall war between it and quag), Heatran(Arbok is the only one with EQ), and Milotic is annoying to kill.
Anyways on to the team.
Gorebyss@Leftovers
Swift Swim
Modest
6hp/252sp.atk/252 speed
-shell smash
-ice beam
-HP electric
-Surf
Not much experience with Gorebyss but thanks to KorKonT's suggestion it might work great with the team. It provides much needed coverage with the electric/ice combo and can tank water and ice attacks which my team lacked. Will provide a better description when tested more thoroughly.
Cacturne@Leftovers(NU)
Sand Veil
adamant
6hp/252atk/252def
-focus punch
-substitute
-Sucker Punch
-leech seed
Changed the set to a sub-punch-seed. Leech Seed is to force a switch or get a heal for a free sub. The punches provide some great coverage when I can just focus punch then follow up with a sucker punch for a KO. Might switch Leech Seed for Swords Dance depending on how it plays out.
Quagsire@Leftovers(NU)
Unaware
relaxed
252hp/252def/6sp.def
-Boiling Water
-Earthquake
-Yawn
-Recover
Deals with Setup pokemon and is just boss. Quagsire stalls and can take a beating, unaware allows it to tank a +6 Scizor with ease or any other stat boosters. Boiling Water is just to burn and Yawn is to force a switch. EQ is my only stab and Recover is to stall more.
Arbok@Air Balloon(NU)
Intimidate
Adamant
6hp/252atk/252speed
-Glare
-Poison Jab
-Seed Bomb
-Eathquake
Looks badass and can do decent damage. Adamant is so it can 1hko ninetales. Glare is to paralyze anything. Not much to say about this guy really, he is my main source of physical damage but with so many entry hazards I find it hard to even switch him in since his focus sash becomes useless. Most people do not expect much from Arbok but it has been able to deal with most threats like celebi and heatran. They do not expect much from Arbok and usually try to setup on it. I changed it to air balloon to be able to switch into ground attacks.
Nosepass@Evolution Stone(NU? no idea)
Sturdy
Sassy
6hp/252def/252sp.def
-pain split
-toxic
-stealth rocks
-thunder wave
just above 500 sp.def and around 520 def. Can take a beating and can just pain split to live. My only real source of tanking on this team. It can stall really well and can also provide status effects. Toxic is for walls and Thunderwave is just for nuisances that need to be slowed down. If there is anything better than this besides Chansey(I personally hate Chansey and all her evolutions) I would be all ears. Moved the EVs around losing around 18 hp to be able to tank more physical moves.
Shandera@Choice Specs(UU)
Shadow Tag
Modest
-Overheat
-energy ball
-shadow ball
-HP Fighting
Deals with Netoori and Scizor easily and any other nuisances I need dead. I just switch in and kill them with their inability to switch. Changed Flamethrower to Overheat since it seemed like I was getting only one flamethrower off anyways. Changed HP to fighting to provide better coverage versus dark types. HP Ice seemed to be useful against gliscor mainly which I have Gorebyss for now.
Still needs more testing but this seems to be the team makeup for now. Gorebyss might be switched out for a Sheer Force Nidoking or a Clefable depending on how it works with the team.
