I do lurk there from time to time but I don't review or anything like that. I personally think it's a good album albeit kind of short. I'm just using it as an avatar because the artwork appealed to me strangely enough.

ive never really understood why anesthetize is held in such high regard to be honest, though i suspect thats because its not my kind of music. the fact that pt have such a huge range of songs and sounds that i still find tracks i abolutely love in a genre that doesnt really appeal to me just goes to show how great they are, i think

on that note, np: oprcupine tree - arriving somehwere but not here

an absolute masterpiece of songwriting by all accounts
 
it isn't my favourite track either but I was just playing through the whole album

Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. - Electric Love Machine

I have listened to almost nothing but Psychadelic/Avant Garde today, which has been interesting.

for the most part i agree with you.

BUT, there are some things that sound absolutely amazing on vinyl.

Jesu, Sigur Ros, most folk and classical...there's just something about the warmth the needle adds that's just so good. :nerd:

this album is amazing, and this song gets stuck in my head like nothing else. xD

Nine Inch Nails - Head Like a Hole

Been listening to lots of NIN lately in my car, got Pretty Hate Machine in there and it's been played for like 5 or 6 times over. And I'm rarely in my car for over 15 minutes.
