np: UU - Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head

Well unless Milotic is hazing literally every turn which gives the Altaria user a free switch to something that can better counter Milotic, Altaria should be able to get a +1 and assuming Adamant would 2hko even with the haze drop next turn.

I'm with Smurf, it doesn't seem like an effective way of countering Altaria.
 
I actually had a battle with this exact same scenario. I had a RestTalk Altaria and a Jynx left, my opponent had a Swellow, Donphan, and a Haze Milotic. Ultimately RestTalk Altaria won me the game, not by stalling out Haze PP, but by stalling out Milotic's Recover PP (only has 16 Recover, versus 32 Dragon Dance and 24 Outrage, not counting the Sleep Talk ones too). If it doesn't have Ice Beam Milotic always loses, crit or no.
 
Speaking of Milotic, it's really pissing me off more than anything else at the moment. If I lose that one Grass or Electric type I had in reserve, then game over, it stalls my shit clean...

Guess that's what I get for making so many fragile offense teams. :P

Milotic is always one of the more difficult Pokemon for offense to play around since it is such a great mixed wall.

I usually carry at least one switch in and one set-up Pokemon that beat Milotic (for example Venusaur and Raikou).

Thats great and all, but the whole point of a sweeping uxie is to 'sweep', so I'd rather not get statused without even guarenteeing a kill.
 
Just interested, why don't you just use 40 HP/252 SpA/216 Spe to outspeed +ve Base 80s?? I know you lose a whole lot of bulk, but what do those HP EVs guarrantee that you survive, for example??

The set posted by Smurf. gives Uxie 286 speed, which does outspeed postive base 80s.
 
Oh shit. I forgot that Uxie has Base 95 Speed (I thought he had 85). Anyway. 216 Spe allows you to outspeed Timid Moltres, although after a few Calm Minds Motlres can't do crap to you anyway.
 
my team is losing heaps now, either everyone knows it or people are just using heavy stall more. guess I'll leave thorns to sit at the lower requirement and qualify a new alt. in 8 days.
 
Wow, after having a blast with Shelgon (Surprising, I have EDIT: NOT slipped too far with my rating, still at least qualifying for lower requirement), I have discovered a new toy: Chatot. It is absolutely glorifying switching into something like Grass Knot, Encoring it, then going for a Nasty Plot boosted Hyper Voice sweep. Pair it up with everyone's new favourite potential Suspect Dugtrio, and this thing unleashes jaw-dropping (In incredulity) results.

Talk to any of the old UU guys, and I was repping Chatot about as hard as one can back in the day. I even wrote the current Chatot analysis. Its defenses suck, but it has solid offense from a 92 Special Attack, and a trolly 91 Speed means that it outspeeds Moltres easy mode. I believe the set that I used was Plot / Voice / HWave / HP Water. Encore is iffy at best when your opponent's best bet is "switch", but there are a lot of competent Encore users to bait attacks aimed at Chatot.

I might try it out again in this meta, but I see it having issues. Dugtrio = get fucked Chansey, but the analysis 252/156 Careful Registeel takes 71-83% from +2 Heat Wave, and gets TWaved in return (i guess dugtrio deals with registeel but w/e). Rhyperior takes it from HP Water, but Regirock lives HP Water just as well as Registeel does (if it runs something sdef-y), Lanturn owns Chatot (again dugtrio i guess), and there's also Raikou (dugtrio but now we're getting over-reliant), Drapion, Houndoom, really anything 95 and up is causing issues and they're all over the place.

I can't see myself using Chatot seriously without a buttload of support, and even then I can't see why I would want to use it over something like Nasty Plot Mismagius.
 
I got a question. Say if i meet requirements now,and i make a paragraph now. I can submit it to whoever is in charge? And if it get's approved i will be suspect voter? Or do i need to wait until April 11? A lot questions i know...

You must wait for the whole period to end and have the rating/deviation requirements until then. Once you confirm your username, you may then submit the paragraph.

I also used Chatot in one of my early DP Games. (sadly it was noobplay, so no EV spreads etc)

You can use it for run I guess? It can actually hurt Registeel pretty badly with 2+ Heatwave, so it doesn't have to overly rely on Dugtrio. That's something over missy.

Chatot's stats are awfully trollish (pretty fast for UU and it's SpA isn't to bad either) and the fact that nobody expects its attacks to hurt badly after a NP is pretty awesome.
 
The best troll out there is Rock Polish Regice, no question about that.
I trolled with one yesterday, and it was quite nice.

Rock Polish/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt or Charge Beam and another choice.
Focus Blast or Psych Up are the best options.
