This week, I decided to go with BrandonBeast's set an unusual set on a common Stealth Rock user.

Sheer Force + Life Orb Steelix makes for a very powerful wallbreaker as this particular set can take care of common Steelix switch-ins such as Weezing and Rotom. The EVs allow Steelix to outpace uninvested base 50s such as Vileplume and Mega Audino. While Dark Pulse is nice to hit Rotom hard, Thunder Fang is useful to beat up on Pelipper and Mantine more easily.

-Special Steelix has the ability to weaken many of Tauros checks/counters like Weezing,Rotom,Gourgeist and even opposing steelixes/rhydons if they stay in expecting Rocks or weak EQ, so these two are excellent partners.
Tauros,one of the most threatening late game sweepers just rips through balanced teams after its checks are weakened enough for its sweep,accuracy of its moves arent the best but power makes up for it.

This set is really cute, and actually a pretty nice partner for special Lix. Special Lix is pretty powerful already, but with a Nasty Plot boost he's very powerful, capable of breaking through many of the tier's walls. Mr. Mime also is a very soft Fighting check, which helps Steelix a bit. This Mr. Mime set, while a bit gimmicky, can be very useful in certain situations, as it can use Encore like on a mon using Stealth Rock and start setting up, or set up on Boombursts from Specs Swellow and Chatot. Overall, NastyPass Mr. Mime is a pretty cool partner for Special Steelix due to it's ability to pass boosts to Lix, making it a powerful bulky wallbreaker.

Lilligant is a nice partner to special lix considering lix lures common poisons like Weezing and Vileplume. Taking 50% off these pokemon early game open the door for lilli to sweep. Not much else to say sorry :x

Musharna sets TR and Musharna complements Steelix nicely, letting it get easy switches to fire off hard hitting LO Sheer Force attacks while also breaking mons that Steelix has trouble with like Hariyama and Samurott.

Primeape really hates Weezing, Vileplume, and Rotom stopping it from spamming Close Combat, and having Steelix lure them in and KO them during the early-game makes Primeape a lot more dangerous later on. Primeape can also provide anti-Defog support for Steelix's Stealth Rock, and if Steelix runs Thunder Fang, it can lure Pelipper instead of Rotom for teams that already have appropriate countermeasures for it.

Lure Steelix is a perfect partner to Samurott, luring in and bopping Weezing, Rotom, Plume, and Mismagius while also sporting an immunity to Electric-types. SD Otter can then clean up, and take out the Fire-, and Ground-types that plague Lix, in particular creeping standard AV Magmortar with a Jolly Nature.

Life Orb Pyroar is really fun and it's "coverage" move can help it break down the opponent with HP Grass hitting its normal targets (Rhydon, Quagsire, etc.) while Taunt can help to avoid status and force passive mons into attacking.

Vileplume is one of the best partners to pyroar, being able to check both fighting types and water types that threaten pyroar out and being able to check most of the priority users in nu like samurott, hitmonchan, hariyama etc. Vileplume also helps pyroar out with bulky ground and rock types that are a huge pain for pyroar since they resist both his stabs and ohko it back. This core does have its flaws like losing to stuff faster then it and that have strong moves, examples: Archeops, Floatzel, Swellow etc. And also ice types are scary for example: Lapras and Aurorus. But besides that they make a very solid core

Swellow is pretty cool partner for pyroar, and it creates nice Normal-spam core weakening each others checks and counters, brave bird helps swellow take on things like hariyama easier as its a good check to both swellow/pyroar so they can proceed sweeping,while HP grass can be used to help vs things like rhydon.

Relaxed Nature

Ferroseed gives Pyroar great support. it provides multiple things: a ground switchin, a water switchin, SR, an archeops switchin, while not completely draining momentum away. it doesn't help with the fighting weakness, but i think that Will-O-Wisp + hard hitting Fire Blasts + Iron Barbs are an o.k. way to kind-of deal with Hitmonchan.

Rotom @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp

- Discharge

Defensive Rotom is a great partner for Pyroar, providing a good switch into Ground-types such as Rhydon, and Steelix, as well as Normal-types such as Kangaskhan, Tauros, and Zangoose, and Fighting-types such as Hitmonchan and Throh. Furthermore, Rotom can cripple common switch-ins to Pyroar, such as Lanturn, Grumpig, Regirock, and Hariyama with Wisp/Hex, and revenge Water-types such as Samurott, Poliwrath, and Kabutops after a bit of prior damage.
