With 5 votes, erisia is the winner this week. Congratulations on that awesome Misamagius submission!

This week, I decided to go with one of the drops, one in particular that people at first thought was scary af wallbreaker but has since been seen as a wallbreaker that isn't able to synergize well with most teams...

aggron.gif

Aggron @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Heavy Slam
- Low Kick
- Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunder Punch

Choice Band Aggron has become a scary wallbreaker that sadly is hard to fit since it takes up a team's Steel and/or Rock slot while also bringing some very hefty weaknesses.

Submissions will end on Friday.

rotom.gif

(yeah i love rotom)

Rotom @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Regular rotom is a pretty cool partner for Aggron, as he can patch his two major weakness (fighting and ground) in addition, Aggron can pressure pretty easily Skuntank that is annoying for Rotom. Rotom can wear down pretty easily Poliwrath and Gastrodon that are two of the best switch in to Aggron. In addition Rotom can use Volt Switch to help Aggron to come on things that can't really hit him. With wow, rotom can wear down ground and fighting type pretty easily. (be careful with Combusken and Guts Yama thought) Thats not a hugly detailled submission but it's 1am and i'm tired. D:

Scyther @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Aerial Ace
- Knock Off
- Bug Bite

Scarf Scyther is a great partner that I've been using with Aggron as it not only provides a good Fighting-type check, but also brings Aggron in safely with a strong U-turn. Scyther also helps beat two of Aggron's only checks in Poliwrath and Torterra, while knocking off Gastrodon's Leftovers leaving it more vulnerable to repeated Head Smashes. In return, Aggron can lure in Steelix, Rhydon, and Regirock, and proceed to smack them with Low Kick, clearing the way for Scyther to clean up late game.

smeargle-gs.png

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Stealth Rock
- Dark Void
- Skill Swap

-Being able to setup a Sticky Web and Stealth Rocks, Smeargle makes a great partner for Aggron since it automatically becomes even more terrifying to face vs most archetypes, Sticky Web HO is a lot more viable now that smeargle is in tier and its really hard to deal for your opponent if they dont care hazard control. This core requires a spinblocker and Mismagius is one of the better partners since it also takes on fighting types that both are weak to.

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Psychic
- Thunder Wave

Defensive mes is a great partner for Aggron, usually taking very little from most fighting attacks with it's bulk and resistance, and levitate covering Aggron's ground weakness also. It also can provide a slow u turn to bring Aggron in easier, or t wave mons to give Aggron more of a chance of outspeeding things and bopping them. It can also set rocks which can pressure other teams switch ins to Aggron over time.

And with a whopping 5 votes, Holiano secures themselves a spot in the HoF. Congratulations!

This week, I decided to go with a criminally underrated Pokemon that I have been using with quite a bit of success...

haunter.gif

Haunter @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball / Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Destiny Bond / Reflect Type

Life Orb Haunter is a really powerful corebreaker as most slower teams are forced to have priority or a dedicated Special wall that isn't weak to Haunter's STABs / antics.

Submissions end on Friday.

shiftry.png

Shiftry @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Leaf Storm
- Explosion

Explosion Shiftry is an awesome partner that I've been using with Haunter lately. Haunter and Shiftry form an extremely dangerous offensive core and they can break down each other's checks and counters very effectively. With Explosion, Shiftry can lure in and dispose of Skuntank, arguably the best Haunter check in the tier. Shiftry can also pick off the foes Haunter weakens with Sucker Punch, as well as revenge killing faster Ghost-types, such as Scarf Rotom, Scarf Haunter, and Mismagius which threaten Haunter with their own STAB.

lilligant.png

-Lilligant becomes one of the most threatening sweepers after its checks are eliminated since its nearly impossible to stop after a quiver dance, and Haunter is a great partner to it since it weakens and beats most of lilligant counters and Dbonds whatever prevents it from sweep. Its also a great switchin to pokemon like vileplume/weezing that are common sight on balance and sometimes only defensive lilligant answers.

601.gif

Klinklang @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shift Gear
- Gear Grind
- Return
- Substitute/Magnet Rise/Wild Charge

Klinklang is a great partner for Haunter. It can take on fighting-types, spread burns, and weaken many of its checks and counters through the use of its fantastic stab moves. Haunter hits most physically defensive mons very effectively, and can dispose of them for Klinklang to effectively sweep later in the game.
