Ok this week's winner is ~Eternally so congratulations on his seventh overall win!

This week, I decided with the most recent suspect results, that this Pokemon was fitting to do...

combusken.gif

Combusken @ Eviolite
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Low Kick
- Protect / Thunder Punch

Arguably its more viable set now that Speed Boost(s) + Baton Pass is banned, Swords Dance Combusken can become a very effective win condition for certain teams and as such can prove a nuisance to teams that lack a solid counter such as Mantine or Pelipper. I slashed Thunder Punch since that seems like the best coverage as it nails the former two and Combusken can take advantage of going for the obvious Protect by nailing them on the switch-in.

Submissions end on Friday.

jynx.gif

Jynx @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Dry Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Lovely Kiss

-This is the core from the recent workshop we had, I suggested scarf jynx just because SD combusken can help breaking cores for jynx late game sweep. Jynx also has a decent spdef and useful ability in Dry skin which gives combusken a partner with water immunity. You can pair it either with spiker and add spinner later, they can also benefit from healing wish support.

Gastrodon is a nice Partner for Combusken, With Water Absorb, the scald spam is over, also it wins against the Rock/Ground types that wins against Combusken. Its typing has only one weakness, Grass type that Combusken should win against, (except Ludicolo). Gastrodon helps Combusken with common checks as No HP Grass Omastar, Kabutops, or Lanturn. It also has Toxic, always a good option against bulky or annoying threats to your team

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Earth Power
- Toxic
- Recover

What fits best to a fighting mon? Another fighting mon!
Poliwrath fits pretty good to Combusken, especially if Combusken runs Thunder Punch to hit Pelipper/Mantine.
Poliwrath can switch into Ground/Rock types easily and threatens them away with Scald. Other mons that threaten Combusken like Samurott, Garbodor and Altaria also get beaten by Poli pretty easily. It depends on your playstyle and the rest of the team, if you want to run specs or lefties. Another cool thing I like to run lately is Toxic on Poli, to hit incomming Gatros/Mantine/Pelipper and slowly wear them down to make it easier for Combusken to sweep.
As a 3rd mon i'd suggest Skuntank for obvious reasons, but only 1 allowed :[

Poliwrath @ Leftovers / Choice Specs
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 96 HP / 228 SpA / 184 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald / Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Vacuum Wave
- Focus Blast / Toxic

cradily.gif

Cradily @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Recover
- Giga Drain
- Rock Slide

Combusken is weak to Flying and Fire, which Cradily does pretty good against. Cradily can also set up Stealth Rocks allowing Combusken to sweep easier, not only that but Cradily also possess a great bulk in general, thus i believe it corresponds great with Combusken.

And with such a small amount of votes, DnB is the winner, congratulations!!!

This week, I decided to go with a top notch offensive threat that sadly is held back by one of the worst abilities ever.

archeops.gif

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stone Edge
- Acrobatics
- Earth Power
- Roost

Archeops is a fast threat with the ability to crap on a lot of Pokemon should it keep itself out of Defeatist range.

Submissions end on Friday. Have fun! :)

Rotom @ Sitrus Berry / Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

even though it runs Earth Power, Archeops still struggles with SDef Rhydon, Garbodor, Weezing, etc . Defensive Rotom helps greatly with that as it Wisps and wittles down most Archeops defensive checks, like Steelix and aforementioned Pokes. It's also a great general pivot and can help bring in Archeops safely via Volt Switch.

hitmonchan.gif

Hitmonchan (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch/Stone Edge
- Mach Punch
- Rapid Spin

-Best spinner we have rn, breaks steel/rock types for archeops and provides hazard control, while giving strong priority.Ice punch hits gourgeist/plume and torterra harder while stone edge is mainly for scyther which archeops already checks, but also hits ghost types,pelipper/mantine and garbodor without needing to take helmet damage. Adamant is preferred over jolly for more power.

scyther.gif

Scyther @ Eviolite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Aerial Ace
- Roost
- Swords Dance

Appreciates lix and rhydon weakened by epower archeops, is a very bulky pivot that can switch into attacks archeops can't afford to take because of defeatist, and you also just u-turn to give archeops free switch-ins all the time vs stuff like spell tag rotom and zard.

shiftry.gif

Shiftry @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Knock Off
- Leaf Storm
- Sucker Punch
- Defog

Can weaken a lot of the stuff that can deal with Archeops so that Archeops can ko them later, and can remove hazards with Defog so it doesn't take stealth rock damage. Archeops can also weaken stuff for Shiftry to ko them after and can KO a lot of things that would be able to outspeed and ohko Shiftry.
