Uxie @ Mental Herb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Relaxed Nature
- Trick Room
- Stealth Rock
- Memento
- Magic Coat
Although Trick Room is an uncommon playstyle in NU, if you ever want to use it, Uxie is the best lead for it, due to its great bulk almost guaranteeing setup (besides very strong supereffective STAB moves like Choice Band Golurk's Poltergeist), access to Stealth Rock, Magic Coat to block Taunt and opposing entry hazards, and Memento to bring a sweeper in for free. The Attack and Special Attack drops can also help setup for stuff like Swords Dance Escavalier. There are many slow wallbreakers in NU that can benefit from Trick Room such as Golurk, Choice Specs Sylveon, Tyrantrum, Machamp, and Exploud. Diancie can also be used as a secondary Trick Room setter. This set could potentially become an actually viable set with Glastrier likely to drop to NU next month (Glastrier has already proven itself in OU Trick Room teams, let alone three tiers lower... ), which will also enjoy Memento support.
A physically defensive EV spread is used as most supereffective hits Uxie has to take at the moment are physical, such as Decidueye and Dhelmise's Poltergeist, Knock Off from numerous Pokemon, and Golisopod and Sirfetch'd's First Impression. You still survive Dark Pulse from Choice Specs Zoroark with 252 HP.
As a side note, this is probably the only Uxie set that you would have wanted to use with Cresselia, instead of being outclassed by it.
Mini cress(cm rest)
Uxie @ Kee Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Stored Power
- Dazzling Gleam
Pretty fire set, the idea is to get your Kee popped and thenwin once the opponent’s steel type is weakened. Make sure to eliminate any haze/roar users, as this set takes quite a bit of time to get the ball rolling. I’m loving uxie, haven’ttried this set much, much prefer the no item utility set, but I will be building with it soon!
General idea
Although it is used as a defensively-oriented pokèmon, Uxie can be used more offensively thanks to the useful Nasty Plot, a moves that doubles immediately its SpA.
Uxie is one of the few pokemons that can set-up twice Nasty Plot and Giga Drain is here to keep this pixie at decent health (Omastar is a free hp recharge bait).
Draining Kiss would be the preferred choice...but the base power is very low.
Psyshock is the STAB that hits the physical side of the spectrum and Thuderbolt is here for coverage, but Psychic is always a good choice if you want to hit some specific threats.
EVs spread and item
This set offers unpredictability and some unexpected offensive presence at +2.
The opponent may think that you are the standard passive set, so you have at least one turn to click Nasty Plot.
With 252 EVs on Spe with a Timid nature we are able to reach 317 points, such as Silvally (all forms), Haunter, Articuno-Galar, Arcanine , Xatu, Drapion fully invested.

Uxie @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 244 HP / 160 SpA / 104 Spe or 244 HP / 160 Def / 104 Spe
Modest or Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power / Psyshock / Psychic
- Draining Kiss
- Substitute
this uxie set serves as a wincon for the team. spreads dictate whether you want more immediate attacking power or more bulk to help you set up more easily. stored power is cool on the more defensive spread, but psyshock or psychic might be better if you invest in special attack. draining kiss hits dark types and is also helps with recovery. 104 speeds lets you outspeed jolly sirfetch'd, and 244 hp lets you hit a leftovers number. i think you could rock a colbur or maybe even a kee berry and go 252 hp, but i havent played around with that yet
Future Sight is a really strong STAB move that can pressure the opponent. Yawn can force a switch by threatening the foe to fall asleep on the next turn. U-Turn is for pivoting and works well with Future Sight to bring in a fighting type that threatens steel types trying to take a Future Sight. Magic Coat is to catch Stealth Rock, Toxic, etc users off gaurd. 252 SpA is to help make the Future Sight strong. 108 Speed EVs outspeed Pokemon outspeeding Jolly Sirfetch'd. The rest of the EVs are invested into HP.
Sorry for the delay of the actual post. Congratulations to nameless90 for winning the Braviary week with Rapid Spin
Cycle 22 - Uxie
Similar to our last NBT Hitmonlee, Uxie got a lot better (or viable) due to the ban of Cresselia. A plethora of utility options like U-turn, Knock Off and Stealth Rocks in combination with good bulk make Uxie stand out against other Psychic types in the tier. Show us how you utilize Uxie's wide movepool!
Submissions for Uxie will end on Friday, March 26th. Have fun!
Make sure to scroll up to see what sets are reserved, I’m taking screens yawn uturn
Uxie @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 Spe
Impish Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Yawn
- U-turn
104 Speed outspeeds Sirfetch'd and the rest are in defense and HP to better its overall bulk and longevity against Fighting-types like Passimian and Machamp. Yawn pressures switches and U-turn pivots teammates in to make use of its screens.
A super cool move in Uxie's moveset is Memento, giving any teammate potentially free setup all while acting as a pivot ;) Dual Screens is another option with this move, blocking Defogs and letting something sweep. Well worth a try.
reserving the utility monster (knock/rocks/uturn/STAB)
Uxie @ Colbur Berry / no item
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off / Toxic / Thunder Wave / Heal Bell
- U-turn / Dazzling Gleam
- Psychic / Future Sight
This set is the main reason what draws me to this pokemon. Its utility move pool is amazing and it offers a lot of support for your team, depending on what your team needs. 104 speed makes you faster than Jolly Sirfetch'd but you can for sure run less speed if you feel like it. Stealth Rock on Uxie can free up (good) teammates like Copperajah to run Assault Vest or other 4th moves. Knock Off is really really good this gen and Uxie can get rid of important items e.g. Leftovers from Steel types which helps pokemon like Ninjask as it makes a lot more progress this way. Status moves can be really good too if you feel the need of them while Heal Bell lets it act as a clearic. U-turn generates momentum which is really good at the moment with all the amazing breaker. Dazzling Gleam is a fine option too if you want to hit Dark types, mainly Guzzlord, for real damage. I personally like to use a STAB move last to not make you fall flat versus pokemon like Sirfetch'd which you try to check. Future Sight can be really cool too, especially with U-turn on the same set.
this uxie set aims to cripple common pokemon in the metagame, such as sirfetchd, guzzlord, mudsdale, rotom-c, and plenty more with toxic in its arsenal. protect lets you scout first impression by pokemon such as sirfetchd and golisopod, if they aim to break your substitute with it. knock off lets you remove items such as heavy-duty boots from pokemon such as salazzle and moreover the item on drapion. protect can also help with racking up toxic damage over the time and whittles down opposing pokemon severely.
Fight + Fly coverage has proven itself to work very well on other mons such as Braviary and Hawlucha, so here it is on Uxie. Though its not blessed with great offensive, 75 isn't that bad and with very strong defenses it has the potential to stick around for a while. So Power-up Punch is here to give a boost every time its used and Acrobatics is the other attacking move that completes the coverage. This Uxie has no item to give Acro the full 110 power, makes it immune to Poltergeist and tanks a Knock much easier. Rest + Talk is the method of healing, and when Talking you have a 66% chance to not be passive.
The premise is to come in on things like Bronzong, Vaporeon, Mudsdale, Machamp, etc. and set up. 72 Spe b/c speed benchmark and 184 sp atk to give uxie more power. Draining Kiss is good for Guzzlord and fighting types while also keeping yourself up in HP. Shadow Ball is good for actually damaging steels and opposing psychics. Psyshock because stab and actually damaging Drag and Sylveon. Although I feel Psyshock is the less needed they all have there use. The set has balance in mind for match up as facing against HO/Hail is highly unfavorable lol.
Magic room is an intersting niche for HO teams since it allow scarfed mons to setup and wallbreak before cleaning (or slowest one to boosts they speed to clean with boosted band/specs moves (i.e golurk). It also provides poltergeist immunity for uxie and temporarly removes boots (notable one to support spikes stack).Yawn+Memento can be used to turn uxie into fast suicid lead.
Voting ends on Sunday for Uxie! Thank you for all submissions!! Please be reminded that voting for your own set is not allowed and advertising for people to vote for your set will result in disqualification in your submission.
